A New World

It will be the easiest because of the three elements I have an affinity with, this is the one I am the most in contact with. There is wind everywhere. I sat on the ground and started meditating. Time passed but I was immersed in this state and did not feel it.

I then felt a hand on my shoulder and opened my eyes. I saw Mikoto in front of me, and was surprised to see that the night already fell. But I was disapointed as I did not even felt a tiny bit of advancement.

This stage was really more difficult than the previous ones. With this Mikoto went to sleep but I decided to go see Kakashi as he was alone home. Sakumo had to be on the battlefield and thus could not attend to Kakashi.

Fortunetly he was mature enough to live alone. I made my way there and knocked on the door. Kakashi opened and was surprised to see me here. He greeted me excitedly and I came inside. As we were eating I told him" You know I have seen something that may be interesting for you. That is a competition for young lads of your age, you should participate. Also if you win you have a special kunai offered."

He looked at me weirdly and said" Why would I go to a competition where I am sure to win ?" I smiled and replied by another question" Why do I go to the battlefield if I am sure to win ?" Kakashi looed at me in disdain and said" You really are full of yourself, uncle Kyo."

I shooted" Who is the uncle !? I am only fourteen, damn !" After that said I began to beat him a little. Of course nothing serious, nly enough to make him understand respect to seniors… respect to slightly older people.

After that, I said" Seriously, why do you think I go to the battlefield ? You don't know but today the Hokage gave me a decision, that is to stay on the battlefield or leave it. I choose to stay, know why ?"

Kakashi replied" Well for the will of fire, and because of your allegiance to the village ?" I shook my head and said" No, I still go there because there is no better place than a battlefield to become stronger. So even if I only fight against weaker foes, I just have to limit myself. This competiton is just like this, it is somewhere where there are only weaker people, but if you limit yourself then it is another story."

After that said we finished eating and I went back home. The next day I woke up and after eating immediatly went toward the third stronghold on the first battlefield. Once there I went to see the Hokage as I still did not know in which squad I would fight.

I went to the gathering point and once there I saw all of them were surprised to see me, especially Orochimaru. Apparently they were not informed of me coming. I greeted them" Hello there, today I have been ordered to come help you on the battlefield."

They seemed to be too surprised by me coming as only Orochimaru nodded. We then departed and I choose to let captain place to Orochimaru. On the way, Orochimaru kept smiling at me weirdly, as there was a lot of emotion inside it. He was at the same time happy, fearful, respectful and curious.

If I was not this strong this would give me creeps. We encountered an enemy ninja anbu team from Suna, and there Orochi surprised me. Suna, known for their strength in poisons, got poisoned by Orochi. The day passed smoothly as even if the others in the squad were weak, Orochimaru was a mid S rank, and I even higher.

After Orochimaru handed the report to the Hokage as he do not have anyone higher than him except the Hokage, he went toward me. He said" Lord Red Sword, I would like to have a fight against you." I was not surprised and was even waiting for the question as it seemed quite evident that he wanted to.

I nodded and said"Yes let's go toward a big area next, and please call me Kyokai, I don't really like being called Red Sword all the time." We departed and once there I did not activate any of my abilities. I just said"Come."

He rushed at me and pointed his arm toward me. A little snake sped my way, I unsheathed my sword and cut it in two. After this, still running Orochi spread his arms and extended them. He tried to tie me with them. I activated my sharingan and slashed at the arms. The two arms got cut, but now Orochimaru was in front of me.

I kicked his torso but he opened his mouth and something got ejected fastly. I tilted my head and evaded what was coming my way. I saw the body in front of me go limp, so I turned around and saw an Orochimaru with his two arms. I whispered"Interesting…"

Orochimaru smiled and said" Quite ruthless, to cut my arms." He bite his finger till blood came out and placed it on the ground. A huge snake appeared. Orochimaru then said" Kyokai, please take it seriously, as it cost me seventy lives to summon Quio, I would be disapointed to have it defeated without you being serious."
