A Prince's Love

Chapter 18 - Prepare For Edward

"Hello, Edward." Alena's voice sounded a little hoarse.

"Hallo Alena... Are you sick? Why does your voice sound hoarse? If you are sick, let's go to the doctor. I have a good and trusted doctor" Edward asked repeatedly.

"No thanks Edward, no need because I'm just a little dizzy. There's Cyntia who is accompanying me." Alena replied with emotion. That's Edward. He's always so attentive. Oh God why do I have to love that stone head ... Alena said in her heart.

"Okay then, Eummm Alena has something to talk about. Do we meet at the cafeteria tomorrow at 10?" Edward asked.

"Why should it be in the cafeteria? Can't we find another place?" Alena's voice sounded objectionable. Alena is still traumatized by the atmosphere of the cafeteria, especially if she suddenly has to meet Nizam.

"Tomorrow I have to go to college for a rehearsal for the arts and the dance, and it will take until evening" Edward explained to Alena. Alena was silent for a moment then answered.

"Okay then, tomorrow at 10 pm in the cafeteria we meet." Alena finally made a decision. Alena stuck out her tongue at Cyntia, who had been giving her thumbs up a sign that she strongly agreed that I would go see Edward.

Alena rubs a powder puff over her cheeks then up her nose and then all over her face. After that, she rubbed a small brush for eye shadow onto her eyes, thinly connected by blush to her cheeks. Her lashes are long and curved so she doesn't need to curl them using lash pines.

Alena also just needs to tidy up her thick, black eyebrows. Before wearing lipstick, Alena looked at her beautiful face. Her star-like eyes were now a little blank. There are no cheerful ripples that usually adorn every corner. However, her unrequited love for Nizam has taken her heart and soul.

Alena chooses lipsticks that are neatly lined up on her makeup table. She chose a soft pink color to disguise the sadness that surrounds her. The color contrasts sharply with the black short dress and knee-length boots. The waist leather jacket covered her open shoulders because his short dress was indeed sleeveless. Alena added a long necklace of lettuce.

Obviously, the necklace was an expensive necklace because it was made of white gold. Her hair was rolled up so that her long neck seemed real as if to challenge any man who looked at her. Alena took her backpack and immediately stepped outside. He still saw Mrs. Nancy vacuuming under the sofa using a vacuum cleaner.

"Miss Alena. I made a roast chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken is still in the oven, then you just need to warm it up. I keep the mashed potatoes in the refrigerator and just put them in the microwave when Miss Alena wants to eat." Said Mrs. Nancy, standing facing Alena, stopped her activities and turned off her vacuum cleaner.

She had great respect for his generous employer. Alena often gave some money outside of salary. What she never forgot was that when her son had to have an appendectomy, Alena paid off all the costs of the surgery because her health insurance was problematic. Alena also then found a new insurance company and paid the insurance premium for two years

Alena smiled and nodded.

"Yes, Mrs. Nancy, thank you so much. Excuse me, I want to go first. Oh yes, I have transferred this month's salary to your account," Alena replied.

"Yes, Miss... Thank you" replied Mrs. Nancy.

Alena then opened the door to her apartment and went straight into the elevator room in front of her. She pressed the button to the ground floor. Alena leaned slightly against the wall of the elevator as if she was afraid that her two legs would not be able to support her heavyweight due to disappointment. Alena glanced at her clock before the elevator doors opened on the ground floor. 9:15 a.m. ... there's still time to see Edward.

On the front porch of Mr.'s apartment. Thomas was waiting for her with her Mercedes Benz. Then Mr. Thomas opened the car door for Alena. Alena smiled as she thanked him. She got into his car. The lavender scent was so refreshing that Alena felt a little calm.

"Are we going to campus?" Asked Mr. Thomas.

Alena smiled faintly. "Oh yes. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. Yes. We're going to campus." Alena answered.

"It's Ok Miss." Answer Mr. Thomas. Then the car drove towards the Alena campus.

Alena sat dumbfoundedly staring outward. Accompanied by a sad song that came out of the car tape, Alena's thoughts drifted to and fro. Mr. Thomas did not dare to invite her to the usual small talk. She realized that Alena did not want to be disturbed. Because usually, Alena likes to actively ask questions about him. Whether it's asking about his health or his family or other problems.

I was so absorbed in daydreaming that Alena didn't even notice that her car had arrived at campus.

"Miss ... We've arrived." Said Mr. Thomas gently. He was afraid to startle Alena. But even though it was soft because Alena was daydreaming, she still stuttered.
