A Prince's Love

Chapter 82 - My Parents Intend To Set Me Up

Alena sighed with a gloomy face. She saw the confused faces of her father and mother. Alena slowly walked away in front of her parents, she slowly heard her mother's cry.

"You always never uses calculations. Yesterday, You said that Alena must not have a lover and is willing to be matched. In fact, She even wants to be proposed to her lover." Her mother said, sobbing.

"I never think that She would fall in love that fast. You heard what she said earlier. She has only been in touch for two months. How come only two months have wanted a proposal." His father spoke slowly as if he was afraid to hear his daugther. But Alena did hear it from across the stairs.. Her heart began to waver.

"W ... well, maybe she's pregnant." Her mother spoke in a choked voice.

Alena frowned at her mother's accusation,.How could she be pregnant? Nizam never touched it at all. They never lovemaking, never even kissed..

Her father stared. "Honey ... please don't talk like that. This is a very scary thing. I am better off going to jail than having to bear the shame if Alena is pregnant before marriage.

"Forgive me. I promise I will never doubt Alena. She is a good girl. Tomorrow we just talk to Pak Hartono together. Even if you can't pay back the loan, let's face it together. The important thing is we don't risk Alena's happiness."

Alena feels sorry for her mother too. She thinks Alena is a good woman. even though she was not pregnant because Nizam had no intention of touching her. If only Nizam asked her to make love, it is possible that Alena would not refuse. And She could have gotten pregnant before marriage. Alena's face flushed, she became embarrassed herself acting like a shameless woman. Then she returned to listening to her father's words.

"I agree. She is our only child. We worked hard all this time for her happiness. Money is not important. Let's talk to Mr. Hartono together tomorrow."

Her father and mother then fell silent in their own thoughts. Alena stepped out of her house and went to the garden beside her house. Sitting on the porch alone she took out his cellphone and started calling Cynthia.

She really wanted to call Nizam but because Nizam was on a plane trip, it was clear that She could not possibly contact him. Alena glanced at the clock at the end of her cellphone screen. 8 p.m. would mean maybe in New York around eight in the morning or nine o'clock. Maybe Cynthia was cleaning up at work. Because if there is no college, Cynthia usually works full time to earn extra money.

Alena listens to the waiting ringtone from her cellphone. Cynthia's voice was heard greeting her.

"Hello, Alena .."

As soon as she heard Cynthia Alena's voice, she burst into sobs. Cynthia, who was cleaning the table to eat the customers, immediately stopped. She glanced at her friend who was sweeping threw her rag at her then said.

"Please replace me first, there is an important call," said Cynthia while going out. Her friend gave her a thumbs up in agreement, even though she was surprised whose call it was that Cynthia's face was so serious.

Cynthia sat at the front table, which was covered by the roof like an umbrella. The place was still quiet because it wasn't time to open yet. Only opens at ten. So that She has free time to listen to Alena.

"Alena what's up?" Cynthia's voice was heard slowly. She felt that Alena's cry was very painful. She then fell silent because Alena still didn't speak, Alena was still crying softly.

The night wind blew gently. Orchid flowers of different colors seemed to sway from the hanging pots that were brown in color. Her mother is a fan of orchids. She cares for the orchids in her spare time.

"Cynthia, why is my fate always so bad?" Isak Alena.

"But what happened? Are your Mom and Dad all right?"

"They are fine. The problem turns out not because my parents are sick but I was sent home because someone was going to propose to me. My parents intend to set me up."
