A Race to Melt Hearts

I wore a black robe made out of the finest clothing ever made, that's imported straight from Russia. I put a towel on my long black hair, hair blowers is one hell of a hassle thing to do. And an assassin ain't trained to do things that takes too much time.

I dry my hands, and open 3 black folders. One that holds the properties of Sy Empire that was under my name, and I still need to claim everything legally. So those bastards can't scheme against me. The second folder are legal documents that I've already claimed from the Ming Empire. While the last folder contains my brother's death and last will.

I reread a few of the contracts placed here, but I'm still missing one thing. There's an agreement, especially made for marriages. And it hurt my eyes to look at my name written in bold letters, at the middle of the contract. My brother has signed the documents along with my safety arrangements. But he hasn't been expecting me to join an Elite Assassin School.

I cannot ignore or destroy this contract as I clearly see the insignia of 4 big Empires; Sy Empire, Ming Empire, Yuan Empire and Dao Empire. This is also one of the main reasons why I avoided attachments or commitments the last three years. What made me wonder is that I don't know the person who's name is written in these documents as my betrothed husband.
