A Race to Melt Hearts

"Young master, you've been trending since 2:00 a.m. in the morning." My secretary hurriedly enters my office with a depressed expression. And looks like crap, untimely panicking about the existence of my engagement proposal.

"Is there a problem?"

"Sir they rumoured seeing you with someone in the middle of the street, the citizens even took a picture. I must admit that the editor is very good at manipulating the pictures. Do you wish me to handle this case? And deny it? It's been all over the media, and..."

"No, you have to do nothing about it" his eyes bulge in surprise.

"But young master the press will--"

"Everything is real, I proposed to my fiance the last seven days. Prior to that letter of invitation that we got from Ming Empire"

"Eh!!"

"You're dismissed, just give me updates with the preparation for my birthday party. That's the least that you could do" he was still in shock.

"Go now!" Awoken from his daze, he hurriedly went out of my office, it was funny to look at people's reactions.

I sneakily get my phone and scan through the news section of the country. My smile even went wider, as there are tons of people who congratulated me, there were people who said it's fake and there were those who mourned because the elite bachelors of the society has decreased when I got engaged.

I can't help but muffle a good laugh. On behalf of the paparazzi, they still haven't figured out the identity of Madame Ming so she's not exposed yet. We'll see a good cry from them when I announce to everyone that my fiance is the heiress of Ming Empire.

I remembered the number she used to call me earlier, it's still in my phone's calls list, so I check it out from the calls list. Is this her private number?

Hmm. I should give it a call, might as well check if its hers.
