Exiting Loki's room, Ethan went to his room. Entering, he threw himself on the bed. Placing his head on the pillow, he felt his heart still beat faster from before.

'I can't think of anything else...'

Feeling how much Love was influencing him, he felt happy to come to understand such a feeling.

'it's like Loki said, I'm so lucky...'

With these thoughts in mind, time passed quickly. Hearing a knock on the door, he got up from the bed, saying

"I'm coming!"

Opening the door, he saw Ais with Lefiya, each of them wearing their battle outfits. With a hint of surprise on his face, Ethan looked at Ais.

"I guess she is going with us?"

Nodding her head, Lefiya said

"Ais i-invited me..."

Seeing her looking down, he understood she was anxious...

"I am happy that you will come too, Lefiya"

She nodded slowly before Ethan looked at Ais. Understanding each other without actually talking, Ais went towards the exit of the Twilight Manor, followed by Ethan. Sighing, Lefiya felt she was getting in their way again.

Seeing this, Ethan wanted to facepalm for how insecure Lefiya was but, without doing so, he returned towards her. Hitting her lightly on the head with a finger, he added

"You should stop worry so much. Ais is happy to have you with her, right?"

Lefiya saw Ais nod with a 'smile' but she was more focused on the pain. Rubbing the spot where he hit her, she replied

"That hurts..."

Repressing the action of pat her head, he decided it was better to say something.

"I'm sorry, You deserved it"

With a pouting expression, she didn't say anything more.

Making their way towards the exit of the Twilight Manor, all the people of the Loki familia had their eyes on Ethan. Most of them chose to ignore them, but this wasn't the case with the remaining minority.

"Look..that boy again..this time he's even with our Thousand Elf!! He'll steal them all at this rate.."

"Yes, but he not only is surrounded by powerful people, our goddess also protects him.."

"I know..but.. I have a plan."

Hearing these words, the man saw the cruel gaze of his companion. After the man explained his 'plan', he felt a shiver run down his spine.

"I was joking when I said you were the king of Bakas..don't make me believe I was right... You know what will happen to us if they find out..."

With a laugh, the man didn't reply to his companion.

'Prepare yourself...boy'

Now in the 1st floor of the Dungeon, Lefiya saw Ethan's clothes become covered with magic.

"What are you doing..?"

Hearing her words, he said

"I'm modifying the weight of my clothes with magic"

Nodding, Lefiya tried to analyse his clothes, finding the magic he was using couldn't be read by her. Although she was surprised, she understood her knowledge wasn't at the level of someone like Riveria.

'Interesting... He's training himself with his own clothes..but..'

finding something wasn't right, she asked

"Can't you wear accessories, like a bracelet? It would be more comfortable and you can put weight in an area of the body more accurate."

Looking at her, Ethan searched in the shop for a bracelet with the same properties.

'I forgot Lefiya isn't named Thousand Elf just for show...although she didn't understand how my 'magic' works, she could find a way to help me...'

Spending 10.000 SP to buy 4 [Heightened Weight Bracelet], he made them appear, saying

"You are right... Thanks Lefiya..."

With a blush, she replied

"N-No It's nothing... I was just asking.."

Placing two on his wrists and two on his ankles, he adjusted them all to 25 Kg. With the total weight setted on 150 kg, he tried to move, expecting it would be difficult.

'The weight.. I feel the heaviness but I don't have the same restriction as the first time...'

Trying to run, he understood he could use 80% of his normal speed.

Seeing him run, Lefiya said

"How much weight did you put?"

Hearing her words, he answered

"150 Kg. But I feel this isn't good for training, I can move at 80% my normal speed."

'I'll try with 40 kg on each of them'

She wasn't surprised of the weight, so, without adding anything, the group went deeper in the floor.

Meanwhile, Ethan adjusted his weight to 240 kg. Feeling he could move more or less at 70% his normal speed, he saw a goblin spawn.

The moment it tried to run towards him, Ethan was already in front of him. With a punch, the goblin's c.h.e.s.t 'exploded' while the blow effect produced a mass of Air that hit hard on the Dungeon wall. Seeing the air destroying a part of it, he felt conflicted emotions.

'At this point, using the [Boost Magic] with the heightened weight isn't an option. If I want to use it I should limit the power...'

Seeing the goblin dissipating, Lefiya was surprised by such an outcome.

'Wasn't speed his strong point? This..'

With these doubts in her mind, the group made their way towards the lower floors. Although Lefiya and Ais watched Ethan crush monsters like nothing, They stopped on the 16th floor.

"You want to..fight against the Goliath alone?"

Saying this, Lefiya looked at Ethan with a shocked expression

'He obviously wants to act cool in front of Ais...but isn't he exaggerating?'

She wanted to say he didn't need to go this far, something that Ethan understood.

"You don't have to worry about me, I have a lot of hidden cards and, If I feel the need of a help, I'll immediately ask for it."

Although she didn't believe his words, she saw the determined look in his eyes.

'Really, You are an idiot'

Smiling, Lefiya saw the mana around Ethan's clothes dissipate.

"I'll rest for a moment. We're fortunate that the Goliath wasn't defeated yet and there isn't anyone else."

10 minutes later, Ethan looked at Ais. Taking her hand, he said

"I want you to look at me. I'll reach your strength...and then we'll become even stronger together."

Nodding without saying anything more, Ais had a 'smile' on her face while they opened the door that led on the 17th floor.

Seeing the 'Big Wall of Grief', Ethan smiled

'The Goliath is normal.. I can fight without worries'

With a determined look, Ethan thought

'I won't repeat the same mistakes again, I will beat the Goliath without having someone else save me in the aftermath of the battle...'

"Are you so sure...he can win, Ais?"

Turning her head towards Lefiya, she answered

"I don't know..the extent of his abilities..but I trust him. He'll win..."

'I would like to have the same trust...'

After this, The Goliath immediately awaken, destroying the wall. With a loud roar, they saw the seven meters tall monster looking at Ethan before trying to disintegrate him with its fist.

With the girls distant from him, he was free to act as he pleased. Dodging the fist, Ethan put weight back on 50 kg. Feeling his speed the same as always, he saw a screen that said he could use 99% his current speed.

["Thanks Light"]

With a fast move, he went near the Goliath's foot. He decided against the use of weapon this time, trying to master his [Boost Magic].

Smashing its feet with a punch, he saw that his speed and strength were enhanced from his previous training in the Dungeon.

'That's amazing...'

Seeing the Goliath roar in pain, he wanted to try something else.

'If I boost just my legs and my arms, I'll lose an enhanced defence but I can do something different...'

Boosting his legs to the extreme, he distanced from the Goliath before trying to jump towards it. Although the Goliath was focused on the pain, it tried to hit Ethan again with his fist.

Expecting something different, Ethan was hit by the fist that immediately threw him towards the ground.

In mid-air, his [Boost Magic] made him able to re-boost his whole body. Although he was hit rather hard, all the pain eased slowly.

Seeing him thrown against the ground, Lefiya wanted to help him, but before she could, Ais stopped her.

"See..he's fine.."

Confirming that it was true, Lefiya said

"I still think he should ask for help. Even if he's strong that doesn't mean he can do everything alone..."

Nodding, Ais continued to focus on Ethan's battle

"He said..to look at him.."

With this, they saw Ethan jump again towards the Goliath.

'The same technique? He saw that it's difficult to..'

What surprised Lefiya, was that this time, he evaded the same punch in mid-air. Seeing him landing a punch on the face of the Goliath, Lefiya was shocked.

Although the hit landed, they saw the Goliath immediately dissipate after a single hit.

'W-What....is... One Punch!?'

Seeing him fall to the ground, Lefiya understood he too was surprised by such a result.

Going near him immediately, she asked

"How..."

Looking at her, Ethan said

"I will explain after we return..."

Although Ethan and Lefiya's shock were clearly seen on their face, Ais had a 'smile' on her face

"I looked at you..."

Even though he was previously engaged in a discussion with Light, he stopped talking with her for a moment.

'I will ask more about it later...'

Smiling, he immediately stood up, embracing her.

"We should return now.. I'm quite hungry"

Hearing this, the group made their way towards the upper floors..

'That power...so overwhelming...I never saw a Level 2 do such a thing.'
