A Second Chance In Remnant

I'm currently at the town known as Wildgate which is at the border of Mistral and past it is the wildlands. Wildgate is home to the second-largest black-market in the kingdom due to the fact that the wildlands having unique communities like exotic flora and fauna. There's going to be an auction in the next couple of days for some of the more high-value items I hope to get some ores to make my own weapon later and I finally made an inventory bag with magic. The concept of distorting space to extend it to make more room was not easy to figure out even then I'm just making more room not messing with time so that food that I put in hot will stay hot in the bag but still progress only time will tell if I can master this bit of magic. As I'm wandering around the local bazaar I found a crate of Kuromi ( black taste) company candy which an illegal contraband due to the company going out of business due to fact their candies pushed the safe consumption of dust to the limit without breaking the law which in fact still caused dust poisoning to a lot of their consumers. I'm a fan of their candies from their frost globes that are sweet and minty with ice dust making it ideal for hot weather, to their red suns which were a spicy-sweet candy that had fire dust in it that really warmed you up but my personal favorite was their bolt pops which are sour lollipops with lighting dust in it. Checking out the crate to see if it had the original contents in it and lucky me it still does, I asked the stall how much and the merchant replied.

Merchant: 5000 Lein.

This surprised me because the capitals black-market charged double for that when I went looking for that candy when the company closed down, seeing my surprised the merchant explained.

Merchant: If you're wondering why it's so cheap that because some of the employees stole the recipes then sold them and now the buyer is producing these goods in bulk for a decent sum.

Before I bought them I used Echo Tremor to see if these candies were made the same as before and from the looks of it, these are exactly the same as before Kuromi went out of business. With this in mind, I paid for the goods then stored it away in a back alley to hide my inventory bag's ability but not before enjoying a bolt pop, as the sour citrus taste filled my mouth little jolts of electricity stated to make my tongue numb in a pleasant way. Lost in the taste I haven't had in a while I heard something in the alley I was put on guard then went to see if there's anything I can get out of it because I'm good with mugging muggers or any other legal gray area activity that I can get some extra lein that's found in a back alley. As I drew closer to the source of the sound my sonar isn't picking up any people and when I reached it I found nothing so I shrugged my shoulders and went back to the bazaar. I then heard a soft mewing I turned around to find a black kitten coming out of a box, me being the cat lover I am I went check it out, the little thing looked at me and what I saw left me dumfounded it had silver eyes.

( Back at a room in the local Tavern)

After chasing this cute little bugger for an hour I manage to bring him (as I found on closer expectation) to my room at the tavern and I still can't believe that a kitten has silver eyes. I gave him a bowl of goats milk as I watch the kitten drink it up I can't help but think of Cinder being defeated by a cat because it had silver eyes the thought made me break into a laughing fit. If there is even a small chance of this happening I'm taking this little guy with me but once he gets older I will unlock its aura then work on training him which is not going to be easy. The little guy finished the milk and it quickly warmed up to me by rubbing against my legs, I stroked his plush fur then thought out loud.

Silva: What I'm I going to name you little guy?

This kitten is a solid black with long fur plus had 7 claws on each front paw and if I remember correctly back on Earth that meant he's lucky because 7 claws make him a better hunter. Hmm... Maybe Shadow, no too generic, what about Kuro, nope not feeling it, or maybe Lucky... No, ah, I know.

Silva: How does Noctem ( Night) or Noc for short you little booger.

The kitten was asleep on the bed curled up in a little ball just ignoring me I scratched his ears and he started to lightly pur. Well, that decides it his name is Noc from now on, well I guess I'll follow suit and get some sleep the auction starts tomorrow.

( The next day)

I'm inside a high-class booth at the auction house, while not as nice as a VIP booth it's still nice, most of the items on display today aren't what I'm after but the surprise items do have my attention because there are a total of 5. Surprise items at the auction houses across Mistral usually mean the items are either rare, hard to get, or particularly exotic but there are items that I have my eye on. The items that I'm after are metals naturally infused with dust because unlike artificial dust infused metal they react more positivity to aura and semblances by 10 percent or more which can make a significant difference in the long run. The auction houses MC starts his introduction.

AMC( Auction's Master of Ceremony): GREETING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO WILDGATE'S AUCTION HOUSE. TODAY'S AUCTION HAS A VERITY OF ITEMS FROM THE WILDLANDS ALONG WITH SOME SURPRISES SO LET THE BIDDING BEGIN.

While I watch the items come out Noc started to climb all over me and mess with my hair then my ears, him nibbling my tiger ears felt very ticklish. I grab the silly thing and put him in a bag that I got to carry him I haven't used magic on it yet to make it comfortable for him or me because I got an idea to make it into a portable camp or home so that I can sleep in the wildlands with less worry. As the variest item pass by I already got some iron infused with earth dust and tungsten infused with fire dust along with a couple of others I wish to experiment on for making a weapon for myself. The auction was almost over all that was left was the 5 surprises items, the AMC introduced the first item.

AMC: ALRIGHT EVERYONE IT'S TIME FOR THE FIRST SURPRISE ITEM AND IT'S... 10 INGOTS OF TA-MD-F038 FROM ATLAS THE BIDDING STARTS AT 10000000 LEIN.

I was honestly surprised because those ingots are tungsten alloy infused with metal dust which makes it more difficult to shape but the durability and its positive reactivity to aura make it one of the best materials for making weapons in fact its close to the top of my list of materials that I want for my weapon. I can easily bid 10 times that amount if it gets me that alloy after a quick bidding war which I won the AMC shows the next item.

Grimmbane is a plant that produces one of the most lethal poisons on the planet that is especially effective against the creatures of Grimm and the funny thing is that it looks like a plant-like Grimm.

AMC: AND HERE WE HAVE A RARE TREAT ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMALS ON THE PLANET AN ARCHON QUEEN ANT BUT BE CAREFUL WHILE IT IS HEAVILY SEDATED THE DANGER IT POSES IS STILL VERY REAL.

Ok, I'm a little scared now because in my studies Archon ants generate electricity and a large enough group of them can kill a Goliath and the queen can reproduce almost indefinitely with enough food.

AMC: NOW FOR OUR NEXT ITEM WE HAVE VALE'S WARRIOR KING'S SWORD FROM THE GREAT WAR IN MINT CONDITION.

The bidding war for this item was fierce to the point it almost came to blows but it was settled down easy enough with the guards stopping them and now I'm looking forward to the last item because it's hard to top that last item.

AMC: NOW I'M SURE ALL OF YOU ARE WONDERING WHAT CAN TOP THE WARRIOR KING'S SWORD BUT BUCKLE UP BECAUSE WE HAVE A RARITY THAT WILL NEVER GRACE THESE HALLS AGAIN... THIS ITEM CAN BE CONSIDERED AN IMMPOSSIBLITY MADE REAL... A GRIMM WITH A SOUL AND AURA!!!

My mind just stopped and the auction hall entered a hushed silence, my mind restarted quickly at how this was possible and the only thing that came to mind was Doctor Merlot was the only one crazy enough to make such a thing. The AMC pulled back the curtain to show this mad creation and what was shown was a girl and this girl was clearly a Grimm. Her skin was pure black with white plates all over her body that made it look like she was wearing armor and she had short white hair with bright orange-yellow irises with jet black sclerae. She was restained by several manacles that I noticed had Merlot's emblem on them, I used magic to examine her and I found she didn't have long to live, she would live at most a year before dying.

Now the question is what to do now.
