Accidentally Fated

Dana secretly observes Alex Fernandez as they both ride the elevator going up to the Executive Office. He intrigues her. There is definitely something about this Omega that made her boss act that way. First he rushed her to give the list of the new employees and interns, which made her assume the boss is specifically looking for this particular Omega. Second, he suddenly asked the whole Planning Department to attend the meeting today which was supposed to be scheduled in the coming week. Third, the president suddenly announced that she needed another assistant, well she has tons of workload but not to the point that she can't accomplish it or she would ask the president to give her a hand. She even has two assistants of her own, so why did the boss use her as an excuse? He even pissed off Dwight openly just to get the Omega.

She cringes when she remembers Dwight's outburst earlier. That arrogant Alpha really lost his composure over an Omega. Alex Fernandez is really something.

Dana continued to observe Alex, the Omega is nervously fidgeting since they left the Planning Department. He hasn't stopped biting his fingernails. He's too nervous to see how Dana is blatantly examining his face.

Dana scanned Alex's body from head to toe. He has a slim waist for a man, I guess that part is because of his Omega nature. He looks manly and at the same time he looks sexy and sultry. Male Omegas are naturally more feminine in stature, but Alex still has that hint of masculinity that one might think he'll be proactive in bed or something, maybe that's why Alphas like Dwight and Keith are attracted to him. The other Omega intern is more on the submissive side which is common for Omegas.

Dana focuses this time on Alex's face. He has thick and long eyelashes which are probably natural, making her feel jealous because her's are fake lashes and she has to go monthly to have it restored. His cheeks are pinkish but void of any blush on or any other make up. She can't see his lips much as his hands are mostly covering it. He has very pretty eyes though he has bags under them. The Omega is basically too beautiful that he's making her insecure as a woman.

Alex's thoughts was in chaos since they left the planning department office. It barely registered to him that Dan has been greatly affected by the angry and intimidating pheromones Dwight's emitted in keeping him from transferring to another department. He made a mental note to check on his best friend later today.

He kept on biting his nails as he's too stressed to think of a way out of his situation. He can feel the scrutinizing look the woman beside him is giving him, but he ignored it and decided not to pay it any heed.

"Should I just run away from here? I could just fail the internship program or even drop out of school. I don't even need a college degree to help out at their restaurant. Their parents wouldn't mind. After all they keep saying it should be him who would inherit the business as Matt will be too busy being a doctor to help out" Alex thought at the back of his mind. But is running away the solution to all this? He can't keep running away from his Alpha pair or even hide from his own family. What they have is a lifetime bond. Sooner or later he has to face the Alpha as well as his family. He can't be a coward forever.

Alex's thought was interrupted by the sound of the elevator signaling their arrival at the floor of their destination. His feet refused to move out of the lift car and it took Dana to ask him twice to follow him. She even had to hold the button for Alex to keep the door from closing.

Two pairs of eyes greeted him as soon as he stepped inside. There were three working desks inside the office, one of which is situated right outside the door with a "President Office" name plate on it. The desk is quite bigger than the other two and is currently vacant which he presumed would be Dana's desk. On the left side of Dana's working area seated two women. One of them is a petite girl who smiled warmly at him and even mouthed hello to him, while the taller girl who would pass as a model raised her brows as soon as she saw him.

Alex thought Dana would introduce him to the two ladies but instead she walked straight to the President's office and knocked twice before speaking. "Sir! Mr. Alex Fernandez is here." She then opened the door and gestured for him to follow her inside.

The strong smell of the Alpha's pheromones greeted him as soon as the door opened. He found the Alpha sitting behind his desk and did not bother to look at them, he's busy signing the documents in front of him.

The uneasiness he felt earlier is slowly dissipating, the scent of the Alpha's pheromones were different than the one he smelled during their meeting. This time it's more relaxing, it's as if the Alpha is trying to calm him down.

"Keith Andersen!" Alex finally learned the Alpha's name as he read the nameplate on his desk. He still could not believe that the man he bonded with is the president of Andersen Enterprise which makes him part of the wealthiest family in the country or even the world! He suddenly felt anxious again. Their world apart. What if he really asks him to sever their bond? He heard that the operation might kill him and he will probably not be able to bear a child once he goes through the surgery of cancelling their bonding.

Keith felt the sudden change in the Omega's pheromones. Maybe because they are bonded pairs, the scent of his pheromones are intensified so that he can tell the Omega's emotional state. He tried not to stare at him when he entered his office. He was biding his time, he controlled his pheromones and tried to emit a lighter one to calm the Omega as he could sense his anxiousness. He was about to look at him when he felt the Omega was calmed enough but then his emotions suddenly turned to a fearful one.

Alex is getting agitated again, he suddenly felt like bolting out of this place again. Then he sensed someone looking at him and found the Alpha staring at him. His eyes are looking at him warmly, there is no trace or any hint of ill intention, he slowly calmed down again, though he can feel the heat on his body slowly building up. He suddenly wants to remove the gap between them and kiss the Alpha's lips. "Kiss??" What the hell is he thinking? He was just scared a while ago and now he's lusting over the Alpha? He spent a whole month trying to avoid meeting his mate and now he wants to freaking jump on his lap? The night they bonded was too hazy that all he could remember was the pleasure he felt during their intercourse. He wishes he could disappear right at this moment. He felt so ashamed with the way his mind is behaving and he bet his face is all red now, he can even feel his ears were also heating up.

Keith was a bit amused at how quickly Alex's mood changed. The way he's blushing is too adorable. He wondered if Alex knew how erotic he looked right now.

Keith faked a cough before asking Dana to get the documents he just signed. "You may leave Dana. I have things to talk about with Mr. Fernandez." Keith said as soon as Dana took the signed documents from him. Dana did not ask why he needed to talk to Alex and just took her leave.

Keith stood out from his chair as soon as Dana closed the door. He locked eyes with Alex and slowly walked towards him. Each step Keith took made Alex take a step backwards until he was cornered and his back was against the wall. Keith touched his chin and slowly held his face up. Alex closed his eyes, expecting Keith to kiss his lips.

After a few moments when the kiss didn't happen. Alex opened his eyes and regretted it immediately. The Alpha's face is too close and he can feel his breathing. He really thought he would kiss him and somehow he's a bit disappointed that he didn't.

"I finally found you.." Keith said, smiling sweetly at Alex, and before Alex could react, Keith gave him the kiss he was expecting earlier.
