Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend

After so many thoughts I decide to go upstairs. I met Clara still sitting beside Tacha. Saying something to herself. " She's gonna be fine" I groan and walks to the water dispenser in the room. I Place my cup directly underneath the spot from where the water originates from. And angrily hits the knob, for the damn water to flow fill my cup. I turned the water off and drank from the cup making a weird noise as I tried to take all these shits in.

"I know but... This shouldn't have happened".

I looked from Clara to Tacha and wondered why Clara would be thinking about her that way for crying out loud I also have bruises from yesterday's fight and she's there holding her like that!.

I walk out of the room to the kitchen to make something for me to eat. You kidding me? Make something to eat, you can't even boil water. My subconscious chimed in.

"Screw you I can make tea!" I yell angrily.

what the hell is this girl that almost killed me doing in my house? What was I thinking when I brought her here and what the heck is wrong with Clara? Why is she that loving to her. She almost cried the first time she saw Tacha in the guest room with her eyes closed.

I bring out my phone from my shirt pocket and dialed Magritte's number.

"Hey, how have you been?". Magritte says in a low voice.

"I'm... Magritte everything alright?" I ask as I heard her intake of breath.

"Everything's g-good, Lara".

"I know you, Magritte, something is wrong?".

"Yeah, something ain't right... My mum, her health is getting worse". She sigh.

"Hey, everything is going to be good okay? Take your time and send my greetings to her".

"Thank you, Lara".

"Bye... gotta run now". I say and hung up. What could be wrong with Magritte's mom? Fuck!! I yell. Why are things falling apart since we moved here? This Charlotte town is possessed!!.
