Aloof CEO's; Charming Secretary

Chapter 429 - Don't let him go

Sky turned back to television and answered, "Yes! It's very hard to understand a girl. And if you understood her completely, then it's very hard to live without her. So if you understand each and everyone easily, how can you manage so many?"

'Many?' One was already difficult.

After giving it a thought, Arlo asked a different question, "Ms.Sky! How is your relationship with your brothers is soo good even after so many years?"

Sky smiled hearing brothers and answered, "Brother Jai once told me, 'Everyone shows more love and care at the beginning of any relationship. But to maintain the same level till the end is very important.' But we three not only maintain it, but we also love and care for each other a little more than the previous day."

Arlo turned to her and rested his head on the headrest. "So you guys never fought or got angry?"

"Of course not. We have fought countless times but we always surrender to another one. Because we are important than the thing or reason we fight for."

"So how deep is your bond/relationship?"

Sky hummed, 'How should I put this?'

"No matter how many people are around, I still miss them." Then Sky turned to him, "Why are you asking all these?"

Arlo smiled, "Because everyone is envious of you three. And I have heard, the late-night conversation is best. Darker the night, truer the feelings."

Sky smiled, "True!"

Except with Olivia, he never spoke to anybody. He just casually said it.

"What do you think about yourself?" Arlo asked curiously. Sky chuckled, "How can I say that?"

"Try!"

"Hmmm! I'm not perfect but I'm honest, loving, real and weird. I don't try to be what I am not and I don't try to impress anyone. I'm happy to be me. I am Me."

Arlo continued to ask and Sky answered patiently thinking he may have reasons to ask which can be or may be helpful to him.

Not knowing how long they talked, Sky had curled up at one end of the sofa and slept. On the other end, Arlo rested his head on the headrest and slept.

Sky was the first to wake up in the morning and felt her backache because she slept in a very small space.

It was already nine. hence she got fresh and checked in the kitchen. She was preparing breakfast when Arlo woke up. He went towards the kitchen after hearing noises from there.

The sight warmed his heart. Sky was wearing a blue T-shirt dress and a white apron on it. Her hair was tied into a bun. Two fruit bowls were prepared. She was preparing a pancake in front of the cooktop.

Sensing a gaze, Sky turned to see Arlo who was leaning on the wooden frame looking at her. "Go and brush! Breakfast will be ready in five minutes."

He couldn't help but let his heart melt for her line. He nodded and went to his room.

When he returned to the dining room, Sky was already seated. There were pancakes, honey, a bowl of sliced fruits, coffee, and hot chocolate.

When he sat down, Sky spoke, "I didn't know which one you prefer with pancake so both hot chocolate and coffee are there. Feel free to order something if you don't like these pancakes." She felt very inferior compared to the cooking skills of Arlo.

Both started to eat and finished it soon. Arlo cleaned up in the kitchen and dining table, Sky checked mails in the living room. Anybody who would look at them would feel harmonious between them.

Arlo also finished some of his Sigma and Harley work. They passed time till evening before going to the airport.

Thomson popped up at Airport to see them off. "Why there is no josh between you two?"

Sky remained silent. Arlo narrowed his eyes at him but Thomson ignored him and moved in front of Sky.

"Can I tell you something?" Thomson asked sincerely.

"Sure!" Sky replied and waited for him to say as he looked very serious.

"When you get someone who loves and care for you by ignoring everything and everyone else just to be available for you. Don't let him go."

Arlo's lips twitched uncontrollably.

Sky smiled, "I will never let somebody like that to leave. But are you generally saying it or any particular reason?"

Thomson shook his head, "You deserve the best."

Sky couldn't decipher his thoughts, "I understand you don't hate me. But why do I feel something fishy?"

Thomson was stumped. He looked at Arlo for help but the latter ignored him. He laughed awkwardly. "What's there to be fishy? You are overthinking."

"Oh!" Sky looked at his troubled expression and continued, "Let me repeat what you said, 'When I get someone who loves and cares for me by ignoring everything and everyone else just to be available for me. I shouldn't let him go.' right? It is almost like you are proposing on somebody's behalf..."

Thomson started to count how many more minutes he would be alive before dying in Arlo's hands.

Sky continued to talk to Thomson, "Anyway I liked your lines but nobody will do as you say because they will have their own life too. Or... did you perhaps forgot what I explained yesterday and trying to persuade me with sweet talk?"

"Right Right Right..." Thomson chanted thinking it was the only hope he can hold on to.

"Liar!" Sky rolled her eyes at him. Even though Sky met him recently, She knows if that was the reason, he wouldn't react that way.

Arlo stood up, "Senior Tom! Are you practicing how to propose your next girl in front of Ms.Sky? You should get help from your assistants/students instead."

Thomson gritted his teeth looking at Arlo. the latter ignored him and looked at Sky, "Ms.Sky! Ignore him. It's time to board."

If Sky continues to interrogate Thomson, the latter would lose soon and cry out the reason.

Sky nodded and stood up. "It was a pleasure meeting you. Be my guest if you come to Country A." She shook her hand with Thomson before leaving with Arlo.
