Now Rose remembered well about Lucas's father and for a moment a slight smile just appeared on her beautiful face remembering the moment that how well he just managed to punish those boys and did the justice with her. No wonder for her he is a great man and she respects him just equally like she respects her own father. 

Remembering about that day that incident still brings the shivers down her spine. After that day she didn't heard anything about those boys like where did they go or where are they studying right now. She didn't even told about that incident to anyone, neither her friends nor Lucas, no one or at least she thinks like that. But she had no idea that he comes to know about it so well, but the thing is he doesn't wants her to know that he knows about the incident. He has totally leave the decision on her whether to tell him or not. It's not something so good to remember about and that's why he decided never to ask her about the incident to her. 

But that does not mean that he will not follow any safety measures around her. She doesn't comes to know about it but he had just literally appointed his two most personal powerful warewolf guards around her and she has no idea about that still now. He had appointed them in the next day when that incident had happened. He had strictly ordered them to stick with Rose every time and every second of the day without leaving her side even for a fraction of moment. 

"I understand Luc and if it's the direct instruction from your father then I believe it must be very much of important for you to go. So don't worry about me because I will gonna be fine in these days. You just have to do one thing and that is to take care of yourself very well ok?" She asked him back cutely and he just couldn't able to control his chuckle at that time. 'How can this girl can even think that something will happen to me just like that!' After laughing out for some good time internally finally he replied, "I know my sweet girl..." 

But Rose was not looking in good mood at that time. First she doesn't want him to go away from her and that to be with that Estella and here he is just taking her words lightly! When she said him to take care of himself very well, at that time she wasn't indicating towards his health because she knew it's very rare for him to suffer from any fever or some normal cold and cough and even if that happens then he can very well take a good care of himself, he is a doctor after all. But she was literally meaning that he must stay at a very good distance from Estella. 'Take care of yourself' means take care of your heart whose meaning is not to give his heart to Estella or any other women because even though Lucas didn't clearly said her yet but she herself just had been declared the fact in her mind that his heart belongs to her only and nobody else's. She should be the one who should capture his heart and she just can't allow any other women to snatch the thing which is hers only. If... If only he could able to understand the deeper meaning of her words... 

"I'm feeling like you are not taking my words very seriously Luc..." Rose stated dissapointedly and this time Lucas really couldn't able to control her laughter within himself and laughed out loud. Even in her dissapointment state, his laughter was just like a sweet melodic voice in her ears and no matter how much she wants to get angry on him for this she just couldn't. 

"Seriously Rose! I mean look at me. Did you ever found me falling sick from the day we have met and even if I got sick then what huh? I mean I'm a doctor for god's sake Rose and don't worry I really liked the fact that you are showing your concerns for me but trust me nothing will happen to me ok? And if you are thinking about any accident and all then also you should just stay tension free because nothing is gonna happen with me, nothing!" He tried to make her understand but what's the benifit of all the things he just said to her? Because she literally knows and understands each and every thing very clearly. But how will she make him understand the real meaning of her words, how?

"Leave it Luc... You won't understand! Just please remain the same Luc when you will be return okey? Promise me that." Rose asked him with her expectant voice and now only he got serious all of a sudden. What does she mean that he will not understand? And why the hell she is just asking for his promise all of a sudden? Of course he will always remain the same Luc for her who is very sweet, caring, loving and possesive at the same time only for her, then why she has to ask him for his promise? Unable to understand anything about her words he just tried to took his own time to connect all the dots and solving the puzzle. 

After pondering over his thoughts for a while finally he could able to understand the underlying meaning of her words and his eyes just went wide in shock. 'Like seriously? What the hell damn it! Is... Is she doubting my loyalty about her? That... that I will start to look after any other women other than her? How could she even managed to think like that?' Getting furious all of a sudden he just started to curse himself inside of his mind and on the other side Rose who was looking very keenly towards him just got shocked by looking at his sudden change of expression. 'Did...did he just misunderstood my words or what! Why is he just looking so angry?' She thought inside of her mind and a sudden panick just coursed through her mind at that time.

"Lu... Luc are you alright huh?" She asked him nervously and he just flashed her a blank face. 

"Rose... Can you just explain me directly that what did you mean when you are asking me to take a very good care of myself hmm?" He asked starting to approach towards her slowly slowly with his predatory steps and she couldn't help but suddenly started to feel scared. No she was not feeling scared of him or his intimidating gaze he was flashing her that time but she was feeling scared because she thought what if he just misunderstood her words seriously!

As he came forward she started to go backwards unable to take off her eyes from his intense ones and she could clearly able to see that silent rage that is hiding behind his eyes. Finally she got pressed against a corner wall and the moment she felt her back got collided with something so hard, she knew that now she has nowhere to escape from this cold beast. And to add the spices to this current situation he even started to hover over her head while placing his both hands on either side of her head making her feel really very small. And the proximity in between them is so close that they both can literally just able to inhale eachothers unique but addictive scents through their nostrils.

"I asked you something Rose... What happened to you now?" This time his voice was sounding husky and she just couldn't able to stop her blush to appear on her plump cheeks at that time. Even in this scary situation she just couldn't able to keep her emotions in control because of which she always manages to make herself a fool in front of his scrutinizing gaze. 

"I... I just wanted to tell you not to fall sick..." 

"Don't lie!" It was his first response cutting off her words in midway and his stern voice just made her feel more scared because now she was one hundred percent sure that he had just misunderstood her words. 

"Luc... I think you have misunderstood my words." She said to him in her meek voice while looking at him nervously through her lashes. 

"That's why I want to hear out the real meaning of your words Rose. Tell me do you want me to misunderstand you or your words hmm? Do you?" This time he asked her in a soft and gentle voice and subconsciously she just denied him by moving her head side to side. 

"Then... Why are you making it so hard for me? You know that you can share everything with me, so what's stopping you to do that?" He asked in the same voice. 

Even though Lucas thought that he had clearly understood the meaning of her words but still he wanted to hear out the truth from her own mouth because he thought, what if he just may have misunderstood her words! And it's the least thing he wanted to be happen in between them right now...
