"But mom... How do you even..." Lucas is asking still unable to know how his mother comes to know everything about him. 

"Oh please son, stop asking me the same question again and again because you know you won't gonna get your answers from me." His mother said and he could just only sighed helplessly. 

Then she urged him to drink the wine and finally he drank it and a satisfied moan just escaped from his lips. Truly he really had missed this wine badly. Along with her his mother also started to drink the wine. 

Both were busy in sipping their wines when she indicated him to talk about the question she just asked. 

"Mother, don't get so excited already. It's not yet confirmed and I don't even know what she will say when I'm gonna propose her on her birthday." Lucas stated his problem openly to her mother because he knew that few words from her and it's enough for him to feel relaxed. He somehow knew deep within his heart that Rose will definitely say yes to him but still he can't come to the conclusion directly. 

Taking another sip from the wine his mother replied him thoughtfully, "Hmm... So it's not official yet according to you! But when is her birthday?"

"Exactly after a week." He replied smiling foolishly thinking about what and how he is going to make her birthday so special for her this time and it didn't go unnoticed by his mother's very observative eyes. And she really really was happy for his son that finally he found someone who can able to make his heart beating faster as well as make him smile foolishly only by the mere thought of that girl. 

Because only she knew that how unfortunate enough her son is that moon goddess has really cursed him with no mate which means he has his mate but he will just unable to recognise her. It's not like he doesn't know but the thing is it never affected him that much till now. He believes that there is something must be so good behind this curse and he also used to believe that he will never fall in love ever in his life with anyone. But it seems like he was wrong because now he is already and completely fallen in love with someone that it seems like without her he will just die. Not physically but in mentally he will just die for sure. 

His mother just hoped that he will just not left with heartbroken state in the end because it's not sure whether that girl is her destined mate or not. She is not even any warewolf, if she would have then she must comes to know that whether Lucas is her mate or not and in this way he wouldn't have to suffer so much. Obviously for him he is thinking that he is alright but but only her mother knows that it's gonna affect him very badly. So without containing her curiosity she asked his son, 

"But tell me one thing son that how is she? I mean does she treats you well and how she is feeling about you?" Her mother asked him nervously not to anger his son and yes she was right. She could see that his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. But that doesn't mean he got angry on her. No way he could be get angry on his own lovely mother. But immediately he started to smile at her because he understood why his mother asked him this. Watching his smiling face she also got relaxed a bit and finally he replied her,

"You don't have to worry so much for her mother because she is just too perfect for me. And I believe that she also loves me so much like I love her. Her behaviour, her nature, her beauty everything is too enticing for me that I just couldn't help myself but fell in love with her at the first sight. I didn't even realised that at that time. But when I realised that I just couldn't believe on my own self. But yeah, I was just fool not to realise that earlier but now I have already started to feel the luckiest man that is living on the earth." He completed his statement and his mother just gave him all time her bright smile.

"Wow son I didn't knew that you feel for this girl this much. I am so so so happy for you. By the way you didn't yet tell me her name." His mother asked. 

"Her name is Rosaline Campbell. But I call her Rose, my queen!" He said smiling foolishly and his mother also warmly smiled back at her. 

"I hope that she should be the one for you because you know very well about your fortune and I just could only able to pray to moon goddess to keep you happy always." She said and he just could only agreed with her. 

After their talk his mother told him that he should go to their court room because there is really a very complecated case is waiting for him. And that was the main reason he is here because his father is not present in the warewolf land.

And just like that he went out from there to the court room.

IN THE LIBRARY,

"What are you doing here Daniel?" Rose asked him not liking his presence there at that time. There was only one thing that was running inside her mind that how will Lucas react when he will come to know that she was alone here in the library. 

One part of her was sure that he will not blame her but still she didn't like to be with Daniel at this time, it's like betraying his trust. In these recent days she doesn't know why but started to get the negative vives from him. In the beginning she wasn't not feeling that way towards him but why she is feeling like this now? 

"I just wanted to to talk with you Rosaline. You know that how much badly I want to be friend with you but because of that Lucas I just couldn't able to even approach towards you. But seriously, at least give me a chance." Daniel started to beg her and anyone could say that he is not faking it and is very serious about this but only he comes to know about it that how much serious he is actually regarding her. 

Hearing him out for a moment she also got believed at his words, but still she didn't said anything to him at that time. Because she just can't defy Lucas's words and dissapointing him will be the last thing she will want to do with him. So she replied him back, "Please Daniel, go back because I don't want to talk with you. Yes, I'm very grateful to you that you saved me that day but please try to understand we can't be friends with eachother because no matter what I will do, I just can't dissapoint Lucas. You know very well how special he is for me and I know you both just don't like eachother's presence and that's why I am bound to choose Lucas. I hope that you will understand my situation so well Daniel. So don't force me for anything. Now please go and let me study."

She said and again focused on her studies ignoring his presence completely. No doubt she was not feeling good talking to him like this but she had no other choice. She knew one day she has to say these things to him and decided to say this to him today. She didn't wanted to see the hurtful expression on his face and that's why she turned around towards her books. 

But little did she know that instead of getting hurt he was just boiling in anger. Why she is always talking about Lucas. Ughhhh... I will just kill him for snatching everything from me. 

"Look Rosaline, please try to understand. I... I like you so mach actually. I know it's very weird to say but it's the truth. Can you please at least give me a chance to prove my loyalty toward you huh?" He asked her subsiding his anger within himself for the time being. 

On the other side she just got dumbfounded for a moment and looked towards him disbelievingly. She just didn't expected him to say this to her and even not expected that he has his feelings for her. 

"Wh... what did you just say?" She asked him to confirm once again. Did she just heard something very wrong? 

"Yes Rose, I like you... no not like but I just love you so much. I know I shouldn't have said out these words like this to you but I couldn't think of any other way. When you said that Lucas is too special for you, I didn't liked that even for a bit because you didn't tried me yet. You only gave your chance to him and not me. If... if only you could see that how much love I'm having for you. But here you are just choosing him over me, not even knowing what type of guy I'm actually is!" He said in a sad filled voice and she again got shocked because of the revelation he just did to her....
