Chapter 5 Crying Little Sheldon

"Director, he is joking..."

George was horrified.

"NO, I have not!"

Young Sheldon is extremely upright.

"you shut up!"

George finally couldn't help but scolded.

"Yes, sir."

Little Sheldon was a little afraid of his angry father, so he pursed his lips and stopped talking in aggrieved manner.

"He was joking, he was just a kid."

George explained with a smile.

"Let me take care of it."

The bald director looked at the father and son and said expressionlessly: "You send in the tax bill. After we calculate it, we will send you a tax payment notice. The amount is 4 US dollars."

“4 dollars and 22 cents!”

Little Sheldon's obsessive-compulsive disorder attacks, corrective reminder.

"Yes, the tax rebate amount is 4 dollars and 22 cents."

The bald director glanced at Little Sheldon and continued: "Then you didn't send the tax check as informed. Instead, you called us to question us about our miscalculation."

When little Sheldon heard this, he glanced at his father, lowered his head and said silently: "You are just wrong. I calculated it right. I will never be wrong."

"Then you come and do an audit, and after we tell you that you're really good at tax law and let you go, you invite us to audit you next year because you want to beat us a second time."

The bald director said this and couldn't help grinning anymore: "I like smart children, because I have one at home."

"In this case, Director, you must know how difficult it is to raise such a child."

George immediately interjected, thinking that his son's arrogant behavior of leaving before had completely angered the IRS, and that the family might encounter severe difficulties in the future. The grievances of raising a strange son for many years hit his heart, and he said with red eyes.

"Outsiders have no idea how difficult it is to be the father of such a child. We really had no intention of causing such an incident. As soon as I received the email from the IRS, I immediately wrote a tax check and prepared to send it over. I am a millionaire I didn’t expect that Sheldon would lie to me and call you at the same time, and ask Director, for the sake of all special children, don’t argue with him.”

"I see."

The bald director nodded: "Such a smart child naturally has his own opinions. My child is like this. He has always taught me how to do things from a very young age."

"That's it!"

George sighed: "Do you think this is okay? We can continue to pay taxes as if everything before has never happened?"

"That won't work."

The bald director shook his head: "Things will be as they should be. If you are wrong in your calculations, you will have to pay the taxes that should be paid and the punishment that should be punished. If you are right, you cannot pay a penny more. This is Regulation."

"Yes, that's how it should be."

Little Sheldon nodded in agreement.

"you shut up!!!"

George couldn't help it anymore and yelled at his son who couldn't figure out the situation.

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"

Little Sheldon had never seen his father so angry and angry. After all, he was just an 11-year-old child. He was so frightened that he cried.

"Don't get excited."

The bald director waved his hand to appease: "Getting angry can only solve a temporary problem. It may be useful for ordinary children, but for children as smart as him, they must be convinced with the truth. I have hired a consultant to help audit your family's taxes."

Having said this, he looked at the crying little Sheldon: "Are you sure you are right?"

"Oh, I can't be wrong."

Although little Sheldon was crying, what he said was still so upright and confident.

"That's good."

The bald director smiled and said: "Then let's let the truth speak and let mathematics speak. Isn't that what the saying goes? Mathematics doesn't lie."

"How about we go back first? Come back tomorrow?"

George looked at his crying son and felt a little distressed. He stood up and asked, "A re-audit will also take a lot of time. Sheldon is like this now. I can't coax him. I can only take him back and let his mother coax him."

"Need not."

The bald director shook his head: "For a true genius, such a small account audit is only a matter of a while."

After saying this, he looked at Little Sheldon and pointed to the bathroom in the director's office: "Little genius, the bathroom is over there."

"Go ahead."

Seeing his son looking at him with tears in his eyes, George nodded helplessly. When little Sheldon entered the bathroom, he said to the director with a wry smile: "Thank you very much, director."

"After the phone call comes later, we will go out and let them hand over and reconcile the accounts."

The bald director smiled.

"is this okay?"

George hesitated and didn't understand why he did this.

"no matter what the result is."

The bald director said the classic American line: "You know~"

When George heard this sentence, like countless Americans, although he had no idea what he should know, he subconsciously entered the stage of brainstorming and felt that he really should know, so he pretended to understand: " good."

When little Sheldon washed up and came out, the director's cell phone rang.

"Okay, let's check it out."

The director glanced at the ringing mobile phone on his desk, winked at George, and went out first.

"Sheldon, please check with the consultant!"

George warned him and followed him out.

Little Sheldon was a little confused, but when he heard the cell phone ringing on his desk, his obsessive-compulsive disorder set in, so he picked it up and connected it immediately.

Outside the office.

"Let's go out and talk."

Seeing George standing at the door with a worried look on his face, the bald director smiled and said, "Don't worry, he already knows the location of the bathroom. There is everything in there. Whether it's urgent urination or crying, he can solve it himself."

"..."

George was stunned.

"Believe me, this experience will be a very profound lesson for him."

The bald director explained: "Let him understand that intelligence is not something to rely on. Nothing is absolutely perfect. There will always be people smarter than him in this world!"

"Is this consultant smart?"

If George didn't know the director's kindness at this time, then he would be a strange son with an unreasonable and unsophisticated nature. He looked at the director gratefully, but he was still hesitant about whether the consultant's intelligence on the other end of the phone could suppress his son: " Sheldon is only 11 years old and already a physics student at Princeton University."

"He's the smartest guy I've ever met."

The director sighed, and then smiled playfully: "As for whether it can succeed, I think we already have the answer, don't we?"

George was stunned, followed the director's reminder, and saw through the glass window that his son once again showed the expression of being knocked down before and unable to control his bladder. He stood up from the chair and entered the bathroom in a panic.

"Looks like we don't have to go out for a walk, let's go in."

The bald director smiled and pushed the door open.

George hurriedly followed, and then heard the crying coming from the bathroom, which was louder than the crying of his son before after yelling at him.

He had never seen his son cry so sadly.

"Okay, there's no need to send out the result report."

The bald director picked up the phone and said to the other side: "Take time to go home and see. Your mother and sister miss you very much."
