Chapter 38 - Lost childhood

"Papa"

"Yes, my flower?"

"Do you think Kan hates me?"

He looked confused at first.

"No of course not. He's your brother, he loves you."

I look down.

Then papa lifts my head.

"Maybe in the future you'll understand."

*present time*

"So kan, answer me this. Why did you leave?"

"I had to get away from everything. You know, dad-"

"And me."

He looks straight at me

"No. Not you. I was really young at the time. I understand now."

I breath. Thinking about everything a little too much.

"I have a daughter."

When Kan said those words I was shocked.

He showed me a picture, they looked happy.

I couldn't kill him.

Just because he messed up that doesn't mean that little girl deserves to live without a father.

"Goodbye Kan."

I get up and head to the door.

"Will I ever see you again?"

"I wish I could say yes, but we both know what type of business I'm in."
