"Gan, I know your gift eradicates the Zukr vine completely and I have heard from others that the Ilphyr trees you use your gift on takes a long time to grew Zukr again.I want you to tell me more about your gift. "

I described about my gift to the old head but didn't go into detail about the metaphysical experiences i have.

" Sigh.. Initially when you activated your gift I thought it is the greatest boon our village have been given. But now it looks like even that is not enough."

The old man thought for some time and asked " Have you tried to only eradicate Zukr's from the trees and not use energy for growing the Ilphyr's. "

" I have tried it head but it seems to be no use as the tree remains the same and only the Zukr dies. "

" Were you able to activate your gift again on another tree."

"No, I wasn't able to. I even tried once to send only little bit of energy in to the tree and then tried to activate it on another one. But, it failed and my gift was wasted." I said frustratedly as my gift has been quickly becoming stressful to use and I couldn't find any way to improve it.

" Don't mind it. Everyone's gift have their own path. The reason i asked you out is that I want you to stop using your gift on every day morning. From tomorrow I want you to work on the worst Zukr's in the sixth and seventh section."

"I know working on the bigger Zukr vine's takes a lot out of you. But, we don't have any other choice. I will make sure that you get 4/5th of the Lhasa, Phir and Nectr in the trees you grow in Arvan."

I sighed and nooded my head.The old head patted my head and said

" If you feel you aren't able to manage then use your gift only to kill the Zukr's and don't grow the trees. The villager's have survived a lot of Yosdu with empty stomach's and they can do so again."

I nodded again looking thoughtful.

"Wait for a messenger from me to point out the trees you have to use your gift on.And try your best to improve your gift as even if we pass this Yosdu with minimal loss somehow we still have many Yosdu's to face."

He turned back and left with that warning.
