An Accidental Romance

Kyle's father Gabriel was only son of Cathy, after his sudden death the whole family was miserable. Gina handled the business while Cathy raised the kids.

Kyle was 10 at that time, Sonia was seven and Drake was five, Cathy raised them as their own, but when Kyle was fifteen Cathy's health deteriorated so Gina send Sonia and Drake London to her sister Kayla.

But Kyle stayed with Cathy all the time, for him Cathy had always been her mother, even though he was a respectful and obedient son to Gina but when it comes to love, care , gentleness he could only expect that from her grandma.

Because of Cathy's influence Kyle was responsible, honest and modest person. She always told him if you could be one thing in your life be kind.

But things were different with Gina and Sonia. they used to respect Cathy when she was young and in good health but now when she was on wheel chair their behaviour with her had become mean, they now think of her as burden.

But they could not mistreat her because of kyle, he protected Cathy as her own mother. That's why Cathy always compared him with his son.

When Gina saw how Kyle was comforting Cathy, her heart ached because Kyle always respect her but he never showed this kind of gentleness towards her, it's not like she loved him any less, but as elder son of family, Gina want him to become best and for that she often became strict with him but that didn't mean she cared less for him.

Gina snapped out of his thoughts and said stop crying Mom let's get home, my son is a busy person, let's not disturb him, he might have a lot of work to finish.

Yes my son you go and work, I will be going home now, Cathy gave her agreement.

Ohk grandma, you go and rest and if you need anything just give me a call, I will visit you often.

Then Kyle gave farewell to those ladies.

In paradise club Kyle and Tom were waiting for detective Chen, Paradise club was situated in Prime location in D city, It was one of the costliest place of D city but at the same time it is the most crowded one too. Due to its location, it has occupied top 3 floors of Zaid tower. Zaid tower is owned by Coopers.It is one of the luxurious building in D city. Kyle had paid a huge sum to get this place for paradise club.

In the last private room kyle was checking some important doc.u.ments, when someone burst in the room. He was wearing brown knee-length overcoat and a black hat, with black sunglasses.

He came close to Kyle and gave stares to Tom , Kyle said no need to worry he is my assistant detective Chen. But he didn't say anything, so Kyle sent Tom out of the private room.

Then Chen Came out of his disguise. He was a handsome young man he doesn't look more than 25. He has sharp features, he has brown eyes, golden hairs and medium height.

He said I can't show my face anyone except for my boss. Kyle smiled and said still following those old rules.

Chen said those rules were the reason I am still alive. I had got all the information about Oliver Jones. He took out a yellow envelope and gave that to Kyle. When he opened that there were some doc.u.ments, list of properties , account statements, list of family members. And then there were some photographs Kyle patiently go through all the doc.u.ments.

Oliver Jones used to work for army, he was general for sometime too. but when he got injured he left army and joined his father's jewellery business, and make it even bigger.

He currently lives in lake city, and his family was one of the prestigious family of lake city.

His wife is Jenna, she was daughter of storm's family. They had five kids. Two sons and three daughters. Robin and Renesmee are elder son and daughter. Kate Jones was her second daughter she died a year ago.and then James and Grace were twins's.

Kate was married to Marcello Lawrence. Now he also work with Jones corporation.

Chen asked why do you want that detailed information about Jones. I am planning on opening Jewellery showroom for Sonia, and lake city is famous for it's artistic jewelleries.

I want to collaborate with Jones. And they also wanted to do business in D city kyle explained.

But aren't they Decent people, I didn't found anything fishy. Chen remarked.

Every one is decent until you disclose their secrets. Kyle commented.

If they were that decent why did they hide their slush funds. Kyle said while monitoring their account details.

That doesn't prove they are bad people. Chen asked curiously.

Either a person is bad or good, there is nothing in between, I don't care if they are bad

I am just checking the possibility of them becoming threat for us. Kyle said comprehensively.
