An Accidental Romance

The hall was decorated nicely, the ceiling gave the feeling of night sky, and the lighting was dark, some of the blue elements are also present, Walls were decorated with curtains and balloons, light jazz music was playing in the background. All the guests were already seated and waiting for the toast.

Gina took Sonia with her and invited Neil and his family to sit with them.

Angel, Neil, Jack and June sat in the main table with Gina, kyle and Sonia. Alex was also there.

Sonia changed her outfit in to a mermaid long white evening dress. With the ruby set Neil gifted her.

Neil sat between Angel and June, Sonia sat in front of Neil, Kyle was sitting on the other side of Angel.

The dinner which was served to them was typical evening dinner for c.o.c.ktail party, there were some complimentary Chinese, Italian and Thai food too.

First waitresses served wine to everyone, Gina stand and made the toast,

" Thanks a lot everyone for coming on my daughter Sonia's birthday celebration, please enjoy this banquet thoroughly."

After that everyone drank their wine and dinner was officially started.

" Oh dear you are looking so pretty, in this dress and the Jewellery is also nice" June complimented Sonia.

" Thanks a lot Aunty, this Jewellery was the gift from Neil " Sonia said shyly.

" Oh, I didn't know my son has such a good eye for jwelleries" said June.

Neil on the other hand was busy serving food on Angel's plate.

"Neil, dear from where you get this Jewellery" asked June.

Neil looked at her said " It was a new Jewellery showroom TQ".

And again he was busy with Angel. When Sonia saw Angel getting all the attention she got angry.

Angel noticed change in her expression but didn't said anything.

Jack on the other side was very concerned for Angel he asked Neil how she was feeling more than twice.

But everyone was amazed when they saw how calm, composed and elegant Angel was while eating. She sat like a proper lady, like some Queen she had no expression on her face but her gaze was soothing, she cut the chicken with knife and ate with fork without making a noise, she chewed her food slowly, she was very hungry she finished everything Neil had put on her plate, and took some more food on her plate, she saw Neil wasn't eating anything, he was busy on his phone she slowly took his spoon and made sound with the plate, Neil noticed the sound looked at her.

Angel " eat first you can do this later".

When Neil heard that he put his phone back and started eating.

June noticed the small interaction between them for some reason she felt jealous, she knew there would be a day when someone will hold an important place in Neil's life but she thought she would be happy for his son but now she isn't happy.

June and Sonia were also facing the same thing, they didn't know Angel's background for them she was just a girl Neil liked and they didn't find anything special about this girl but after witnessing the attention she was getting from all the males, they weren't happy at all.

Alex was also upset because she thought Angel was also like her, even she was better than Angel because in her own eyes she was a natural beauty she had a nice figure and without heavy makeup or accessories she could get attention, but now Angel stole all the attention. Even Kyle was looking at Angel continuously and taking every chance to talk to her.

When Alex saw how much attention Angel was getting she felt sad, she wasn't jealous because she didn't like Neil, but Kyle was also not expressive and Gina and Sonia was giving her glares.

During the dinner nobody talked to her not even Kyle. When Kyle invited her for party she thought he finally accepted her feelings but things turned out to be different.

Sonia was also upset because when her friends told her about their conversation with Angel, she thought they were just friends but now when she saw everything with her own eyes, she can't deny it.

The dinner ended peacefully and Richardsons left immediately after that because Angel needed rest.
