An Endless New Dream

"Ok where is she?" Ruby asks

"Why do I fee like she's doing something crazy?" Yang asks

"Students! Is everyone here and ready to go?" Professor Oobleck says.

"No, Kyra isn't here." Ruby says then suddenly looks at a spot in the distance.

"She didn't." Yang says also seeing it.

Ruby just sighs.

An Atlas airship lands at the pad.

"So where is she?" Oobleck asks

"She's coming." Yang says

*propellors spinning can be heard.*

*sound of a speaker being turned on.*

"Attention atlas pilot, I need you to get that rust bucket off the landing pad!" Kyra's voice can be heard and it's loud.

"What is that?" Weiss asks

"She finished it." Ruby says

"That looks cool." Blake says

As the aircraft lowers onto the landing pad.

"Who's ready to go on an adventure?" Kyra asks stepping out of the Vertibird.

"So um? Are we taking that with us?" Oobleck asks

"Don't worry just watch." Kyra presses a few buŧŧons on her Pip-boy and the Vertibird goes invisible then visible again.

I figured out how stealth boys work and added it to the Vertibird.

"That's so cool." Yang says

"Yep it's active stealth. So we land it on a building turn it invisible and it's there till we need to leave." Kyra says

"Alright let's go then. We are already behind schedule!" Professor Oobleck says excitedly basically teleporting into the electrical Vertibird.

"I call a gun." Yang says

"I got the other one." Ruby also says jumping onto the last mounted gun.

"Alright." Kyra says putting on her headphones and flips a few switches in the ċȯċkpit as the engines start spinning to life again.

"Off to the ruins in the south east." Kyra says as the Vertibird takes off.

Flying the Vertibird in normal plane mode.

"So does the stealth function work in the air?" Oobleck acts.

"Yes it is invisible to cameras and sight however if they work off echolocation or have some form of radar it should be able to detect me." Kyra says to the professor.

"What about using this to make cities invisible to Grimm?" Oobleck asks wondering about the applications of this technology.

"Well grimm can detect emotions so it couldn't hide that. I am trying to different possibilities however none have worked." Kyra says

"How about stealth suits?" Oobleck asks

"Well there is personal stealth boys as they are called and the Hei Gui stealth suit. The thing redirecting the light can have adverse effects on a human if in direct contact for prolonged periods of time. However let's say you were to apply it to a vehicle and have people get in the vehicle it will be safe." Kyra answers

"Interesting truly interesting this device could revolutionize the war." Oobleck says

"Yes and wars have been fought over less. The technology that Stark Industries has is enough to make atlas hunt me down if they were to find out. After all I am the source" Kyra says knowing she is not the true inventor, yet the hybrid devices she makes with dust is even crazier.

"What does this run off of?" Oobleck says

"The same technology that is powering the Kingdom of Vale." Kyra says

"Nevermore Port side." Yang says into her head set.

"This is not a ship! I call it a vtol airplane." Kyra says

"VTOL?" Weiss asks

"Vertical take off and landing Weiss. I have plane designs that are significantly faster but they need a runway to take off." Kyra says

"Yang! What are you waiting for take it down." Ruby says into her headset while she's manning the gun on the right side.

Suddenly a burst of mini gun fire can be heard along with Yang laughing.

Kyra looks out the window to her left to see a nevermore that has become swiss cheese.

"Yang it's dead stop waisting ammo." Kyra says into her head set.

"Can I say thank you for these custom made headphones?" Blake asks

"Yeah and you are welcome to keep them." Kyra says.

"Hey Kyra?" Ruby asks

"Yes Ruby?" Kyra asks

"Do you wanna play the silver shroud through the headsets so we can listen for the next 30 minutes it will take us to get to the edge of the kingdom." Ruby asks

"Sure thing." Kyra says
