An Endless New Dream

"So this is the dungeon huh?" Ruby says flipping open her scythe.

"Oh! What's that?" Yang says as she launches her self and smashes in the head of a goblin with her fist.

"Guys? I see weird glowing things going into Yang?" Osaka says shocked

"I didn't see anything?" Blake says

"Really? You feel any different Yang?" Weiss asks

"Maybe a little bit stronger?" Yang says questioningly.

Blake suddenly emerges from a shadow decapitating a goblin as her clone she created dispersed.

"Hmm, I think killing these things makes us stronger at a base level." Blake says

"Nah it's probably something like an added boost." Ruby says since it seems to be connected to the blessing Kyra gave them.

"Is it permanent?" Osaka asks

"Probably but would it stunt your growth if you tried to train your body without killing monsters?" Yang asks

"Good question luckily we are trained huntresses that are close to our peak physical abilities. Do it won't be too detrimental." Ruby says

Suddenly Osaka raises her hand.

"I kinda haven't trained my body a lot, I mean it's not weak since I helped on the farm but it's not super strong." Osaka says

"Ask Ozpin then." Weiss says

"Hmm, it seems it's agreed I should be support for today and carry out loot." Osaka says

"That's fine ,but when we get back we need to train you." Yang says

Osaka nods in response.

A few hours of monster killing later.

"Guys? Did we bring a map?" Yang asks

"I saw an exit this way." Weiss says

Getting over the the exit the says stairs down.

"I believe that's to go down." Blake says not to amused.

"It's weird how the walls seem to glow a light blue? Has anyone noticed that yet?" Osaka says

"True usually you would think you needed something like a torch." Weiss says

"Also, did anyone bring any spare dust?" Yang asks looking at her empty shotgun gauntlets.

"You did kinda go insane and used all your ammo destroying everything." Ruby says swinging her scythe and killing a kobold.

"I really don't like those dog things." Blake says expressing disgust.

It's been a few hours and the group happens upon another set of stairs.

"Why do we keep going down?" Weiss asks.

"Because Kyra said there is a settlement on the 18th floor. So they should have a map." Ruby says

"So what floor are we on now?" Blake asks having not kept track.

"The 4th." Ruby says

"Cool, so Ruby what you got in your bag if you don't mind me asking." Yang says since it's about lunch time.

"Kyra forced me to pack enough food for 1 normal day. Then enough for 3 days if rationed." Ruby says

"So she made us lunch?" Weiss asks wanting to taste Kyra's cooking again.

"Yep!" Ruby says with a smile.

"You think it's safe eat on the stairs?" Blake asks

"Probably." Osaka says carrying a bag full of magic gems.

"So what did Kyra make us?" Yang says sitting down on the steps.

"Good question let's find out." Ruby says pulling out the lunchbox.

Everyone is handed a lunchbox with their name on it.

Blake opens hers to find surf and turf.

Weiss opens her box excitedly and finds a chicken tender sub sandwich which is some how still hot.

Yang opens it to find a hot cheeseburger with fries.

Ruby opens her lunchbox to find spaghetti and meatballs with a cookie.

Finally Osaka, opens her lunch box to find orange chicken and fried rice.

"She cooked us all individual meals." Yang says shocked.

"It's really good too." Ruby says in between bites.

"I wonder how it was all kept hot?" Blake asks

"According to Ozpin it was magic.." Osaka says enjoying her fried rice.
