Another Bad Boy Down

"She's my fiance." he said. His voice colder than ever.

I rolled my eyes at him. With raised eyebrows I said "Neo honey~ Aren't you exaggerating a bit? If this is about her cheating on you then just break up with her! Why drag innocent beautiful civilians into this mess? You're only making this bigger by dragging a goddess like me into your love quarrel."

He took a sip of his coffee without looking away from me. "My fiance is not a simple person Ms. Tan. She is the heir of the Shen family. She have been known as my fiance before we were even born. My grandparents are only willing to name me as the official heir of the family once I marry her. " he calmly said.

I really don't want to know all of this but I have no choice. I need to find some sort of loop hole that can be used as my exit point from this guy. I can try convincing him to use someone else or just talk it out with Ms.A. I really don't want to spend the rest of my middle school life tied to the devil.

"If you can't be named heir unless you marry her then why pretend to have a new lover? Isn't it pointless? Come on, you can just talk this out with her. You should be talking to her now instead of me." I said with an irritation in my voice.

Is he a girl??!! He is too fussy for a man! If he can't become heir because of his fiance then just talk to her! Blackmail her!!! Threaten her!!! Do the marry-with-no-love-involved thingy that is so popular in romance novels! Fadjie Bar!! Do I have to coach this devil on how to catch a girl??!!

It's like the devil read my mind. He raised his eyebrow at me and with a cold voice said "They will not give me full authority to command the family business unless I marry Ms. Shen or you."

What??!!!! What did he say??!! Am I hearing things?? Ms. Shen or you.... Ms. Shen or you... Ms. Shen or you... You.. you... You.... Me?!!

"Why me??!!!" I exclaimed, shock evident in my face and voice.

Neo only looked at me like he already expected my reaction. I glared at him, my fingers tightening the hold on my tea cup's handle.

"Because you are the daughter of a very wealthy and powerful family. Your family can rival the Shen family, this kind of arrangement is not new Ms. Tan. If I break the engagement now then automatically you will become my new fiance."

"What nonsense are you talking about? I am not the young lady of the Tan family's first household. I am only a relative from a branch family." I spat at him.
