Another Bad Boy Down

My body stiffened when I heard him add "It's also good to meet the family." He said it in a nonchalant way like it's only a passing comment, nothing extraordinary.

Meet who? Family? Who's family??? Ugh!! Does he really need to add such remarks? I raised my head to glare at him. He only shrugged when he noticed me and didn't say anything. I turned my head forward to look at Vincent's reaction. His expression didn't changed, a soft smile is still plastered on his handsome face.

I sighed. Forget it. I first need to get out of this place. I coughed lightly to get their attention. I turned to fully face Neo "Mr. Yuan, we will be needing your cooperation this time. I believe we both reached a consensus earlier so it's now time for me to leave." I said this in a calm and business like tone.

Neo only coldly nodded, his eyes still on the figure in front of him. I grimaced and then turned to face Vincent, I was a bit taken aback when I saw him staring intently at me. I wryly smiled at him "What did you exactly told them? And how?"

Vincent only shrugged his shoulders, took out his phone and took a picture of the invitations in his hand. Seconds after busying himself with his phone he placed it back in his pocket and said "When I arrived earlier, dozens of girls are already downstairs equipped with viciously long nails and scary faces... Or is it just their make-up? hmm.. Anyway... I asked them what is happening and they said...." he stopped and took a quick glimpse at Neo, then he again looked at me. I raised my eyebrow at him. He continued "they said that you are cheating and is having an affair with young master Yuan. They called you a witch and other immature terms referring to a seductress and such."

"Seductress huh.." I coldly chuckled. Recalling all that happened yesterday and today, I'm sure that those immature girls will still blame me for being too beautiful even if they know the truth. "Then?" I said to Vincent.

"I told them that this is just a misunderstanding. I told them that young master Yuan invited the both of us here because he have an important matter to discuss with us. I said that they can wait till we finish talking and I will personally ask Mr. Yuan to clarify the misunderstanding. I took a picture of the invitations moments ago and posted it online so that they can see what important matter we discussed. Those knowing about us being invited will not cause much of an uproar compared if you've gone out with no solid excuse in hand." Vincent patiently explained.

I slowly nodded my head in understanding. I lowered my gaze and absent mindlessly stared at the tiled floor. He is indeed right. If I walked out with no gun ... Ehem.. Excuse in hand then those girls will not only harm me verbally but also physically. Neo's followers are scarier than Vincent's pets. This is simply because Vincent's pets are tamed by him, they won't do anything physically to me. But Neo's followers are more wild and over confident. Vincent told me this morning that even though Neo looks cold and aloof, he is actually a playboy. A genuine gangster indeed.

Those girls following him are like concubines in the royal palace, full of schemes to catch the emperor's attention.

I never really gave attention to others affairs but he wanted me to become his fake girlfriend!! Does he want those concubine of his to poison me to death?!

He was already poisoned by his beloved empress but he still want to promote me as his first rate concubine?! Wait!! I don't want to be a concubine!!!

With this in mind, I unconsciously mumbled to myself "Can I be the empress?"
