If I remember correctly, this should be after Gu Mo disappeared.

Gu Mo disappeared at the end of 2012, and by April of the following year, it was almost the time when Qingye’s people gave up looking for him.

So, Ye Qing came to see my parents at that time. Did he want to go there and save Gu Mo?

I felt very uncomfortable in my heart, with a dull pain.
