Army of True Salvation

Chapter 140:Never Mind

Tyler and the others have already arrived in Dannie's house. The moment they arrived, they already noticed a lot of zombies lurking around the house. The gate was shut, and it was a good thing that it was. However, there was a problem that arose: there were some zombies who entered the vicinity because of their strength.

The teenagers saw Dannie's father on the house's rooftop, shooting down zombies from their elevated location. He was accompanied by their classmates and Tyler noticed that all of the attackers were doing their part, with the supports helping other students climb up the rooftop. The comrades of Geof were also helping the group. Tyler was also quite surprised to see some of Geof's comrades performing better than their groupmates.

"Attackers, aid my attacks! In just three meters, the other zombies would already reach the main door! Other supporters, go down the stairs and barricade the staircase just in case!" The teenagers below could hear Dannie's father instructing the group and everyone moved as he ordered.

Tyler's group hid behind a post near the house's gate. They were a bit far from the zombies but they were honestly nervous about the situation that they are in; most especially their comrade's position.

"How are we going to enter," Isobel whispered and the others shrugged their shoulders as their answer. Even Tyler himself didn't know what to do. Dannie's father didn't also know that they were already there.

"Dannie's phone died, then she walked out. It was a good thing that Geof found us. If not, we would've been dead!" Dannie rolled her eyes at Isobel the moment she heard this.

"Well, I'm sorry for walking out because of that guy," Dannie said sarcastically and the girls had another stare down. Tyler was exasperatedly irritated at this point.

"If your phone died, then just tell me. Use my phone," Geof suggested as he fished his phone from his pocket. Dannie looked at him and got his phone. She removed Geof's sim card and had inserted hers for her to use.

"Thanks," Dannie said and she proceeded to text her dad. With this, they can finally know what the plans are and how they will get inside.

Dannie texted her father but she clamored when her father didn't answer in two minutes. It was a short time, but in a situation like this, it seemed like eons. Dannie knew that her father would respond quickly especially at this kind of emergency but he didn't. This made his daughter panic more than usual.

Tyler looked at Dannie. "Why not text one of our classmates? I know Alice's number," he suggested and everyone looked at the curly-haired teenager.

"Your crush's number?"

Tyler rolled his eyes at Dannie and he just stole Geof's phone from her and proceeded to text her. He didn't expect that people other than his real friends would know about him liking Alice. Well… he did gave her flowers and the whole class cheered so it was unavoidable that people would know.

Tyler sighed and shook his head.

'Never mind.'
