"Focalor! First, I’m going to restrain Bell, give me ten seconds! "Yes, Master!"

I gave the order to stop Bell, who seemed to be on the verge of a violent outburst.

"That smells like a lot of humans! I'm gonna eat those guys!"

"Stop it! Pleeease!!"

Focalor moves the wind to stop Buell from moving on his own. For now.

"I give thee, Bell the 10th, strict orders. I bind thee. As soon as possible, stay where you are and do not take any action. Listen only to my commands. If you do not obey me, I will curse you and take everything from you in my name."

The moment I finished, Bell's movements froze.

"I give you permission to speak."

"Whoa, whoa whoaaa? What the hell is this?! What's going on here?!"

"Bell, will you talk to me?"

"Who the hell are you?"

"My name is Norman. I've summoned you to do me a favor."

"Whoa, whoa, whoaaa! You're the summoner. So whom do you want me to eat? You summoned a demon, that means I have to curse someone!"

"No, there's someone I want you to heal."

"Huh? What do you mean? You want a demon to heal someone? You see, the demon is a symbol of destruction and impulse! You want the demon to heal someone? That's out of line!"

"No, it's not. At least, I don't consider destruction to be a good thing."

Focalor interrupted him.

"Look who it is, Focalor! You are the very symbol of destruction and impulse!" "No, I'm......." "What? What are you talking about? You've killed so many people in your life!" "No, no." "Destruction and impulse, that's what demons are for!" "No!"

"Focalor, calm down for a moment.", I said and shook Focalor's hand.

"This is not the time to argue."

The more time they wasted in this way, the worse the condition of the girl's arm would become.

"Ye... yes.......", Focalor replied, looking down in embarrassment.

"Bell, it's not that I don't like it. But from what I hear, you are very good at healing, aren't you?"

"Whoa, whoa whoa! Yeah! I'm a demon, but I'm better at healing than destroying! Even though I'm a demon!"

"I have a favor to ask, that's why I summoned you. I need you to fix her arm."

"Nope! I'm a demon, did you forget?! Whoa, whoa whoa!"

Bell opens his big mouth vulgarly and starts laughing.

"It's you, isn't it?"

Focalor sees this and steps forward with a sharp glare in her eyes.

"Let me handle this." I forced her to step back.

"I've got an idea."

"An idea?"

"Yes, not a request, but an order, Bell. Fix her arm."

"Whoa, whoa! You can't do that!"

"Then I'll do it like a demon. I told you, I'll curse you if you don't."

"Huh?"

As soon as Bell let this out, something strange happened to his whole body.

"Hey, hey, what the hell! It's really painful!"

The restraint spell is not necessarily a spell for restraint only.

It curses the demons that disobey.

This is the essence of this spell.

An evil black flame surrounded Buell's entire body.

"My body is so hot, I feel like I'm going crazy!"

"I'll ask you again. Will you obey me?"

"Whoa, whoa whoaa! Yes, I will obey you, I will obey you! I have no choice but to obey you! Quick, lift this curse! I'm dying!"

"Lift the curse!"

The black flame that surrounded Bell disappeared as he said this.

"So you want me to heal this girl's arm?"

With that, Bell turned back to the girl.

"You're a little more straightforward than I thought."

I just spoke out my thoughts.

He felt this way about Bell, who was willing to listen to him easily, even though he had caused him pain with a restraining spell.

"It's a survival technique. It's better not to go against someone who knows how to use the Grimoire Goetia."

Bell gave an indecent laugh as he said this.

I'm glad to hear that he's going to listen to me honestly.

"Oh, uhm,......are you talking to someone?"

The mother with the little girl in her arms suddenly asked me a question.

Well, to those who can't see Bell, it looks as if I'm talking to myself.

"Yes, I'm talking to an angel who's supposed to heal her injuries."

"An angel?!"

Instantly, the mother smiled with surprise.

The others also squealed with delight when they heard the word angel.

There was no way I was going to say that I had summoned a demon, so it was probably safer to say angel.

"Whoa, whoa whoaaa, you can't say that you've summoned a demon. How dumb can humans be?!", Bell laughed.

After that, Bell healed the girl's arm as ordered.

"Next time you summon me, give me the order to destroy something!", Buell said as he left.

Thank you very much for fixing my daughter's arm.

As we were leaving, the mother of the injured girl bowed her head deeply in thanks.

In the end, we were able to finish the escort without being attacked by any other demons.

"It was our fault that the girl was injured, and I am very sorry for that too."

I bowed my head as well.

The mother praised me, saying, "Well, you're a very strong person for still being a child."

I was praised by her mother.

"Thank you for fixing my arm, big brother and big sister!"

As they left, the daughter, who was now in good spirits, waved to me.

The vendors also thanked me.

They gave me a little extra for actually protecting them from the demons. I thought it would be better to accept the reward than to refuse it, so I gratefully accepted it.

"Well, thank you very much......."

That's what Focalor said to me in the carriage on the way home.

"I didn't do anything. It was Focalor who got rid of the demons, and Bell who healed her."

Yes, I really didn't do anything this time.

It was just a painful reminder of my inexperience.

"But if you weren’t here, the girl's injuries would have remained unhealed."

"But Bell was the one who actually healed her."

When I countered, Focalor puffed up her mouth as if she wanted to say something.

"This case has made me realize how inexperienced I am."

Focalor looked depressed.

I don't think there's anything to be depressed about.

"I'll take care of teaching you wind magic."

"What? Really?"

I was surprised.

After all that had happened, the fact that Focalor was willing to help me meant that this rescue was a great success.

"But I have a condition.", she said, as if to put a damper on my happiness.

"What's the condition?"

It's for the wind magic. I'm willing to do whatever I can.

"Please let me serve you."

Hmm? What do you mean?

"Angels are servants of the Lord. So I've decided to imitate them and serve you."

Focalor drops to her knees in front of me.

"Please, my Lord.", she says, and extends her hand.

"Uh, yes, alright, thanks....."

I replied, taking her hand.

I have no way of knowing what kind of change of heart she has had, but if it's necessary to learn wind magic, it won't be a problem.

"Oh, by the way, Mr. Orobas is not here."

"What?! I might have left him in the wagon!"

Orobas was sleeping so peacefully in the back of the truck that I had completely forgotten about his existence.

Well, I guess Orobas will come back by himself even if I leave him alone.
