Chapter 43 - Long time no see

The next day I went to school for the first time in a week.

I hadn't been able to go to school since I had been training with Agereas.

I had finally learned the four natural magic arts of fire, wind, water, and earth, so my steps to school were lighter than usual.

What magic should I learn next?

There are many other magic arts that I still have to learn, such as alchemy, astrology, and necromancy.

So many thoughts came to mind as to what kind of demon I should summon next.

"Hey, if you're so incompetent you can't even use magic, why are you still going to school?"

It was a surprise encounter.

No not really a surprise, we went to the same school. I guess it was inevitable that we would meet one day.

The man in front of me was Dimito, the adopted son of the Eslund family.

To me, he was my brother and the official heir.

Dimito was walking down the hallway with many students. He looked as if he was showing off the students behind him as his own students.

"I'm here to learn magic......."

"Huh? You haven't given up yet? You can't use magic, you're incompetent! That's why your house belongs to me now! So get your ass out of here and become a commoner with no access to magic!"

"I can use magic now."

"What?"

Dimito's eyes widened as he looked at me.

He didn't seem to know that I was able to use magic now.

"Hey, is it true that this incompetent can use magic?"

"Oh, yeah, I remember you dueling with Rikal before. He was using magic."

The other students who were with Dimito explained it to him.

"So you've recently learned to use magic?"

"I guess that's what it means".

"Hahaha, so you've learned to use magic recently? Okay, now you're going to fight me. I'll show you that incompetents remain incompetent no matter how hard they try."

Dimito taps me on the shoulder and insists.

"I don't want to. Even if I fought now, I wouldn't be able to beat you."

"Hahaha, you're right. You've only recently learned magic, so there's no way a novice can beat me!"

Dimito laughed for a moment and then walked away from me.

I was relieved that Dimito was finally done and out of my sight.

"Hey."

When I turned around, Dimito, who was supposed to have left, was looking at me.

"Do you have any inherent magic?"

"I don't, but....."

" Oh, of course not. By the way, I have two inherent magics. You'd better keep that in mind."

This time Dimito left after saying that.

He has two unique magics?

It is very rare for a sorcerer to have two unique magic. I guess that's how good Dimito is. Perhaps it's difficult for me to beat him now.

However, if I were to become more proficient at summoning demons, I would be able to defeat him.......

That's what I was thinking about.
