As The Wind Blows Your Scent To Me

The live stream ended after an hour. The fans were happy because Ryuu took some time to entertain their questions. 

Most of the responses were positive, making Ryuu more at ease. His fans had been reuploading the live stream video on various channels and platforms. 

That night, Ryuu walked out of the washroom after brushing his teeth and washing his face. He glanced at Yuina who was fiddling with her phone while lying on the bed. His wife was smiling at the screen.

"What makes you smile like that?" asked Ryuu as he sat in front of the vanity table. He began to apply his nighttime skincare routine.

Yuina answered without lifting up her eyes from the screen, "Kanna and Himari texted me, asking if I'm okay."

Ryuu hummed faintly. He knew both of the women.

One was his wife's old-time friend while the other was a close colleague from school.

"When will Kanna come back?"

Ryuu remembered Yuina saying the female doctor was stationed in another city's hospital for a work exchange program. Kanna had called him once a few months ago, venting out her anger regarding Yuina's miscarriage.

Thinking of the doctor's words, Ryuu felt a lump in his throat.

"Kanna said she would return in two weeks. She wanna take a week of rest before resuming work," replied Yuina. Her eyes were still staring at the screen.

As if she had just remembered something, Yuina spoke excitedly.

"Ryuu! Let's go out together later? I wanna find a gift for Himari. She has gotten married last week!"

Yuina was so shocked the first time she saw Himari uploading a photo of her and Mr. Hayashi, saying that they had gotten married safely. It was too sudden, almost catching Yuina off guard.

Because Yuina was busy with Ryuu's matters, she was unable to properly congratulate her fellow colleague. Thinking that school would start in a few days, Yuina wanted to get a gift for the newlyweds.

"What should we get for her and her husband?"

Ryuu walked to the bed after finished spreading a layer of moisturizer on his face. He got on the bed then rolled to his wife.

His injuries were getting better, just enough for him to be able to hug his wife in bed. Just a few days ago, Yuina still stayed away from him during sleep for fear of accidentally touching the places he was injured. 

"Himari said she's currently living in her brother-in-law's villa so there's no need for house appliances," Yuina rejected the image of a kitchen oven, washing machine and vacuum cleaner from her mind, "What do you think if we give them vouchers? Like, vouchers to stay at a hotel?"

"Haven't they gone for a honeymoon yet?"

Ryuu put Yuina in his arms, he pressed his nose in the crook of her neck, inciting laughter from his wife.

"Himari said her husband is busy. This marriage wasn't planned actually. After she accepted her husband's proposal, both of them immediately registered their marriage."

Ryuu lifted up his face, looking at Yuina's bright smile. 

It seemed like his wife was happy as she was talking about her colleague's marriage.

"Hehe, did you know? Himari and Mr. Hayashi have just started dating a few months ago. Although the courtship was short, I have a feeling that Himari would really be happy with her husband. Aye~ I suddenly hope to see their baby soon!"

Ryuu's eyes flickered. 

Yuina's eyes were twinkling yet he felt a sense of guilt.

"My love?"

His voice came out from his mouth, sounding a bit mute. Ryuu carefully touched his wife's soft cheeks. 

Yuina blinked, sensing something from her husband. She put down the phone on the bedside table.

Ryuu moved his body up, hovering above her.

"Earlier... did you feel uncomfortable when I suddenly said that... the fans are waiting for our baby?"

Ryuu was happy to read the positive comments. The words flowed out easily from his mouth. He had forgotten that a while back, he would be careful whenever he had to mention about their child.

Although he was met with his wife's smile right after the question fell, Ryuu was still afraid if he had accidentally reopened her wound. 

Yuina's eyes bent, she giggled after hearing the question even though Ryuu was looking so worried right now.

"Hehe, you silly man."

Yuina cupped Ryuu's face, stretched her neck out then dropped little kisses on her husband's forehead, nose, cheeks and lips. 

Ryuu let out a sigh. A frown still marred his forehead.

"I'm happy whenever I think that your fans are being supportive. Later, if we're expecting a child, we can share the good news with them," said Yuina honestly. 

Ryuu felt his nose sour. Looking straight into his beloved's face, he found that the calmness of her heart was reflected in her eyes.

"...okay."

His voice was slightly dumb when he answered, making her laugh again.

Since that day, Ryuu started scattering dog food to his fans who were eager for it. He had yet to reveal Yuina's full face but, he often uploaded photos of them together.

He captured photos of his hand holding hers, two bowls of rice and side dishes on the table, the back figure of Yuina arranging fresh flowers in a vase and so many more.

All of them carried harmony and intimacy between the husband and wife.

Funny comments followed each of Ryuu's posts. It continued until the day the school break officially ended, September 1st. 

Yuina got up earlier than usual that morning. Aside from getting ready to go to work, she prepared a bountiful breakfast for her recuperating husband. 

"Remember to reheat the lunch before you eat it," Yuina gave a reminder as she was putting on her skin-colored socks, "I'll try to return home as soon as possible. The headteacher wanna have a meeting with all of us after school."

"Don't worry about me. You remember to be careful," replied a sullen-looking Ryuu who sat on the couch.

Although there was nothing arose after Ryuu began sharing his married life with the public, it was hard to not feel worried. Two bodyguards were tasked to follow Yuina in secret to avoid something bad suddenly happening to his wife.

"The bodyguards are with me, right?" Yuina leaned forward and dropped a light kiss on Ryuu's lips, "Don't you go running and jumping around when I'm away. Your sprained leg hasn't healed completely yet."

"I'll listen to my wife."

A mischievous idea crossed Ryuu's mind. He grasped his wife's waist but the next thing that happened was he had his mouth covered by Yuina's palm.

Yuina rolled her eyes, "Don't think of kissing me. I've just applied my new lipstick."

She had just bought it! A limited-edition one!

Ryuu pouted. He reluctantly let go of Yuina as his wife smacked his hands away.

"The bodyguards won't enter the buildings so, immediately click the emergency button if anything happens inside," said Ryuu again.

Yuina had called the principal beforehand, telling him of her situation. The principal was shocked because he didn't expect the identity of the Mathematics teacher's husband was the film emperor yet he didn't make a fuss.

To ensure her safety as well as the harmony of the school, the principal agreed to let the bodyguards follow Yuina with a few conditions.

"Okay, hubby~ I'll go now. Bye-bye!"

Ryuu couldn't say anything more as Yuina rushed out of the door. She didn't forget to throw him a flying kiss, making him smile in helplessness.

It was difficult to ease his restless heart.

Yuina arrived at school a quarter to eight. Most teachers and students were not here yet but she was happy to see Himari already sitting at her place.

"Himari! I thought you won't arrive until later," Yuina strode to Himari's desk right after she entered the office, "Did your husband send you here?"

Himari smiled seeing her friend. She finished sipping her tea before answering, "Kazuya drove me and the children this morning. We came early because he has a business trip."

The silly man insisted to send her and the siblings since today was the first day after the summer break. The car was parked inside the schoolyard for Himari to go home later.

Kazuya had booked a cab to take him to the train station from the school. The business trip would take two days.

"Anyway, congratulations from me! Please expect a gift from me later, ya?" Yuina playfully nudged Himari's shoulders.

"I won't accept it if it's not grand," answered Himari cheekily. 

The two teachers burst into laughter. No one spoke about the revelation done by the film emperor. 

The school hours passed by smoothly. The students were lively as they were able to meet their friends after such a long break. 

At the same time, the teachers were busy with their tasks before they gathered for a meeting. One of the highlights was the exchange program1 between their school and a school from an underdeveloped small town. 

"Next month, Teacher Maekawa would lead our students alongside Teacher Kato and Teacher Sagami for the exchange program. Remember to re-check the preparations."

On one side of the long table, Himari absentmindedly jotted down the details.

Hurm, it seemed like she would leave her clingy husband for a week next month.
