Ashes and Kingdoms

Sister's statement/brother's statement

■ Sister's statement ■

"Nellis' brother, you look a little good"

"Oh?

My friend tells me that Nellis responds to suspicion. Then they took it as a lightning bolt. So I laughed, tickling with my face.

"That's right. Well, it's not like it's a beauty... I mean, it sounds smart, you don't do stupid things like the people in the city all the time. Fighting, graffiti on the store walls, hanging around and chilling girls."

"Uh, yeah, well, that's for sure"

Nellis also admitted reluctantly. It's been less than four years since Finn became his own brother, but I don't recall Finn ever damaging Nellis or his parents with such stupidity.

Sometimes you go out with Nellis' jokes, but then in retrospect, I also feel it was an attitude of being a parent, protecting them from crossing the line while they tease you rather than telling you to "stop".

"That's why it's not funny."

To Nellis, alone with his blush, his friend leans his little nook wonderfully.

"Don't Nellis like Finn? When I say brother, blood isn't connected, is it? Sometimes, don't you? You can count on me, and laughing is pretty good, I guess."

"I'm not kidding!

On the way Nellis peeled her eyes and denied it. Further, a friend builds momentum.

"Well, when I first came home, hey... I admit I expected a lot of things! Temporary distraction! He's so young!

Nellis was serious when he said he was only in his mid-teens, but he wasn't young enough.

"You just became disillusioned. It's impossible, really, because I'm fucking serious like a headstone!... Oh well, you're my oldest daughter. You think it's good to be your brother. That's what I used to think, too, but, you know, because that's never gonna happen in real life! I can't believe I'm with Brother Finn. It's so much more fun talking to dead fish."

"Well, you don't have to say that..."

"I think this is still as modest as it gets. If you see him every once in a while, say hello, and you're about to go out with him, well, maybe he's not a bad person. Yeah. I rarely get unpleasant. But, you know, why don't you stay with me at four or six? No, I can't breathe! You better rethink it, too, 'cause it's gonna be tough if you marry that one."

"Yes...... is it?

Marriage, even if the story leaps, the girl doesn't move. In the first place, on the northern border, a man and a woman socialize, that is, find someone to marry.

To an anxious friend, Nellis nodded with a true face.

"We live together. I tell you, no doubt about it. I can't believe you can be my brother's wife... hmm, right, isn't it about people who expect nothing from their husbands but to make money and work hard? I'll have the words I exchanged from morning to evening. I'll have them. - You have to be someone who doesn't have to be like that."

".................. wow"

The figure of a shady couple with no conversation and tiredness passes through the girl's brain. Well, it's not unusual. She sighed, not knowing that she was even the one to dream of a newlywed.

Looking at such a friend, Nellis praised his shoulder as well.

"Even for me, I'm a little worried about you. I don't think I'll be able to get married for the rest of my life then, and even if I make it impossible, my daughter-in-law is pathetic. Well... if you're one of those people who cares a lot about your mind, even if you don't have to say anything, maybe not."

But that's, like, a miracle. And if I were you, I'd be married to someone better than your brother.

- and Nellis, who had a reputation of his own in his absence.

In later years, I never imagined my dialogue would come true. Of course, meeting someone like that might soften Brother Tombstone's attitude, etc.

■ Brother's statement ■

When I got back from delivering flour to the city, an unexpected visitor was waiting for me. It's a childhood tame. We grew up together in an orphanage and now as apprentice sailors we carry our luggage to ports everywhere.

"Hey, welcome home"

Finn couldn't even pretend to be frightened and laughed at Taz for saying that while relaxing like home.

"Long time no see, you were back"

"Oh.... that's a nice house"

Taz looked around the room and said in a slightly smaller voice. Finn nods, too, smiling.

"Mr. Oandus and the others, they'll make it better. How's the boat?"

"Not bad. I'm sure it's a lot rough, but the roots are thoughtful people. He gets in a good mood as soon as he gets a little drunk, and some guys say he doesn't care about anything else. Well, if you even do your job right, you don't have to worry about sleeping beds, food, and when you get up on land, you get a little rest."

It's like another sea man's mouth. Finn bites off a laugh, teasing and pulling his mouth together. but Taz only glanced when he realized the look on his face.

"Heh heh, laugh if you want. But you know what? A secret store for sailors is all over the harbor. Fine liquor, women..."

"Did you go? You?"

You've got to be kidding me, Finn raised an eyebrow. Taz is in good shape and playful, but he's still old enough to be out of touch with adult entertainment. Whether the environment in which I grew up is good or bad, in a child without a mustache, neither the pawn owner nor the merchant woman of the tavern will deal with me. At least as far as Finn knows, yes.

Taz did nothing but try and neither denied nor affirmed.

"A sailor becomes a man faster than a land man."

I lied like I found out, and I just wondered how I envied you, and I gargled. Finn glances over his shoulder and deceives his reply. I'm not jealous or jealous, but Taz would be disappointed to say that I don't care at all.

So Finn answered, making an ambiguous tone.

"Yeah. You know what?"

"Don't push it, you envy me"

The suggestion Taz read in depth and poked him with his elbow slightly. Finn pushed his body like he was upset.

"Nothing. I don't care"

Pretending to be strong really makes me feel kind of jealous. But when Finn was concerned about it, Taz gave up more.

"Eh, that's who you are anyway. Besides, you don't have to pay the merchant money, so you have a good match."

"... what?

Taz lurked his voice and whispered to Finn, who turned suspicious.

"I just saw it. Nellis, you're getting cute. Oh, this."

"Hey, wait, I didn't mean that."

"Don't be silly. Bet on what? The next time I come here, you'll be the young husband of a miller, and Nellis will be very hungry. Two, three, a child..."

"Taz!"

At the same time as he yelled, Finn was grabbing a childhood tame chest barn. Taz wanders in the boulder, surprised and frightened in its eyes. Finn slowly let go, perplexed by the unexpected intense reaction himself.

"... don't. I'm not ashamed."

"I'm sorry."

Taz apologized for a moment, but when he put on his good jacket, he went on without punishment.

"But seriously, what about you marrying Nellis and taking over the powder shop? When I heard Mr. Oandus took you, I thought that's what I was going to do."

"I was on the verge of being thrown out of an orphanage, and Mr. Oandus wanted manpower. That's all. If Nellis finds a decent match, I'll join the legion."

"I don't like it."

Taz shouted up to Finn, who was only mandated by his adoptive parents.

"You wouldn't have to think so hard. Well, you're that kind of guy, so I don't know what else to do... but if I were you, I'd spit on Nellis right now. She's so cute."

That's what Taz said. Finn turned his lusty eyes to the kitchen, so he was only face to face.

"If I do a weird imitation of my sister, I'll knock you out of that cliff into the ocean, no matter how much."

"Whoa, I'm scared. Oh, my God, I thought you wanted me.

"No!"

Finn denied being irritated, then sighed.

"You know, he jumps on people's beds every morning and wakes them up. At first I seriously thought my gut would stick out of my mouth. Something hit my head once, and the stars were flying in front of me all day. If you say something, you're stupid about me. It's not funny, but you put it down, and you take a candle out of my room on your own because you wasted it..."

Once in a while, if Fauna bakes confectionery, Nellis always takes Finn's share. As a rule, I can often push a detailed job with the phrase "do it at last".

Not to mention Finn's dialogue became almost silly, and a deep sigh leaked into the finish. Taz just laughs with his belly in his arms, and he doesn't pity me.

"Ha ha, so... suppose you're married, you're so visible to be laid on your ass! You don't want to be in the army?

"It's not like that."

Taz asked Finn, reluctantly, looking amused.

"So if I say I want Nellis as my wife, you won't stop me?

"... if you're serious, I won't stop you."

Finn flaunted his shoulder, then added whitefully and calmly.

"However, I'll tell Nellis and my uncle that you have a priori to sin against me by replacing the futon where you slept and pissed."

"Wow, that was years ago!... Oh, book, you're not funny. Okay, let's not talk about this. Over, over."

surrender, and Taz waved, completely changing the subject.

All the stories he purchased were novel and interesting: life on a boat, work in the harbor, rare things, rumours of the merchants. Finn instead reported on Nanice's situation while Taz was away.

While doing so, the sun slanted, and Taz joined him because Fauna would prepare dinner.

"Finn, I'm sorry, can you get me some firewood? And call your father."

"Yes, I understand."

Soon Finn nods and takes his seat. When that back disappeared outside the door, Taz looked at Fauna with what a complicated face.

"... Oh, no."

"I guess not."

"I don't want to. You'd better reconsider letting him inherit the miller."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Finn thought Nellis and I could make it."

"Oh, well, how about me instead?"

Stepping aside and recommending to Taz, Fauna just giggled and didn't answer.
