As Guyaa finally finished evolving, Song Lei's mouth was left wide open with awe.

"Umm..." Song Lei gulped.

Guyaa, who had initially been just a normal toilet, was now a weird, quadrupedal, and walking toilet. It had become much smaller compared to before but it was able to move. It kept jumping around happily. Its four, dark purplish, and long legs looked like they were a part of a horrifying monster.

Song Lei facepalmed quite hard as he looked at the system notification.

'Well... It can't be bad right? I didn't think that this system would have something like a familiar subspace. I wonder how it works...' Song Lei though while walking next to Guyaa. Guyaa, who sensed Song Lei, stopped moving around and stood still in its place.

Song Lei thought for a moment and raised his hand towards Guyaa.

"Collect!" Song Lei said. Seeing that nothing happened, he blushed a little bit.

[Do you want to set the word "Collect!" as your familiar unsummoning word?]

"Umm... No," Song Lei talked to himself. After reading the notification, he decided that having a shorter word for such a thing would be easier and faster to use.

He set the familiar recall word as "Come!".

[Familiar unsummoning word has been set! Please set a word for familiar summoning.]

Song Lei set the summoning word as "Go!". Although he wanted to set it as "I choose you!" It would be highly inconvenient in urgent situations.

[You can summon Guyaa once a day for five minutes!]

Song Lei read the notification and discarded it with a sigh.

"I guess I'll have to use the toilet in room 1401 from now on..." He muttered.

Song Lei left the bathroom and looked around the room to find the quake demon. As his soul stat was still low, it was a bit hard for him to locate it with his Ethereal Eyes. He found the quake demon under the bed and fed it. The food Xiang Yimu had prepared for the quake demon was about to run out. Song Lei had to find a new food source for the quake demon.

'I wonder if it will become a familiar like Guyaa in the future...' Song Lei thought to himself. His attitude towards the two beings wasn't that different. He only fed them to make sure that they didn't become hostile and attack him. Furthermore, if he kept a friendly relationship with them, they could protect him from some dangers. Like the time with the little ghost girl from the opposite room, Song Lei could always try to pull other ghosts into this room to make them fight the quake demon.

Now, though, Song Lei would have Guyaa by his side. Even if it was for five minutes a day, it was still better than nothing.

After feeding the quake demon, Song Lei laid on the bed to sleep. But before he could do so, his door was knocked on.

*Knock

Song Lei sighed and got up from his bed. It was almost like people were intentionally keeping him from sleeping. After getting to the door, Song Lei looked through the peephole to see who was knocking. It was Damien.

Song Lei opened the door.

"Come in," he said. He didn't want to talk with Damien in front of his house as Damien could get really loud while talking.

Damien got in while carrying a bag in his hand.

"This is yours," he said while giving the bag to Song Lei. After Song Lei took the bag, he sat down on Song Lei's bed.

"What is this?" Song Lei asked. Damien scratched his cheek.

"There are blood beads inside that. Old Wolf told me to give it to you."

"What? Why?" Song Lei said while raising one of his brows.

"Apparently, it's a bonus for you," Damien said. "Man... I'm really jealous you know? Not many people can get their hands on this much blood bead."

"Well... I worked really hard," Song Lei said while scratching the back of his head. although he still didn't know how he could use the blood beads, it was great to have some to experiment with.

"We know. But you'll have to keep working. This floor has to be cleared out in the shortest time span possible. If you want, I can help you."

Song Lei stared at the ceiling with his arms crossed for some time.

"There's no need to. I can deal with it myself," he answered. 

"Are you sure?" Damien asked.

"Yes."

Initially, Song Lei was about to accept his help. But when he thought again, he realized that he didn't really want to expose his abilities in any way for now. Even if Damien seemed reliable, he didn't want to show his cards this early on. He felt like he needed more time to make sure that he could fully trust Damien.

"Whatever you say... Anyways. As the safe floor construction has been decided, Old Wolf has locked himself into his room to create talismans. So you won't be able to talk to him in the near time," Damien said.

"Is Old Wolf's ability talisman creation?" Song Lei asked. Damien chuckled slightly.

"It's a bit rude to ask people's ability," Damien said. Before he could continue, Song Lei cut his words.

"But you guys forced me to tell mine?" Song Lei said while raising one of his brows.

"Well... You're technically a murderer who killed two of our people. Even though I and Old Wolf don't hold you accountable for that, we can't speak on behalf of others. We needed to somehow make the other branch members accept you," Damien said. Song Lei sighed in response without saying anything.

"Anyways. As for your question; No. It isn't his ability. Creating talismans is something he has learned from the alliance leader. Almost no one knows what his real ability is," Damien said. "And the ones who know never talk about it. So, I too, have no clue about his ability."

"I see..." Song Lei said while holding his chin.

"Anyways. I will have to go now," Damien said. He got up from the bed and went to the door. As he was about to open it, a loud noise resounded in the whole apartment.

*CLANK!

The whole apartment shook with the noise. It sounded like a gigantic gong being hit. Song Lei and Damien had to clasp their ears with their hands. As the noise stopped, Song Lei heard weird noises coming from the corridor. After getting his balance back, he looked at Damien and waited for an explanation.

"You see..." Damien said with an awkward smile on his face. "We're in a bit of a problem...."
