"your mother visited"

Maria told him immediately when he barged inside their house.

Tobias was stunned for a moment when he heard her. He walked towards her and hugged her tight.

"what did she do? Did she hurt you?"

He asked her worriedly. He checked her if she had some scratches or wounds.

"don't be so paranoid babe, she didn't do anything."

Maria told him and pushed him away from her.

"then, why's the reason she visited you?"

"actually, she wanted to visit you but I am the one who answered the door."

Maria speak and told him what had happened earlier.

Tobias was enraged when he heard her story. Why does his mother need to visit him?!

"am I so cruel for talking to her like that?"

Maria asked him, her eyes started to emit water.

He felt that his heart was pierced into pieces when he saw her sad face. Tobias gritted his teeth furiously.

"of course not, babe. You just did what you think is right. Don't worry too much, okay?"

He hugged her and kissed her forehead.

Maria just nod and sobbed on his chest.

"okay let's eat outside. I just heard that there is a new hotpot restaurant near here. Thaniel and Tasha would be happy if they knew were going to bring them outside again."

Tobias said after a while, joyfully, he was trying to lift Maria's gloomy mood.

At the new hotpot restaurant....

Tobias was pushing the twin's stroller while Maria walked side by side with him. They entered the restaurant and chose an area that's not too crowded.

After they settle on their table and after ordering their food, Tobias watched as Maria playing on their babies.

"babe?"

He called her, snatching her attention away from the little angels.

"mhm?"

"can you play with me also?"

Maria looked at him abruptly.

"what?!"

She asked bashfully, her cheeks started to turned crimson red.

"I said, can you play with me also? You're only playing with the twins. In fact you're playing with them the whole day."

He whined in a low voice. Tobias acted as if he was a little boy who wants some attention from his mother.

"you idiot, shut your mouth. People were going to hear you."

Maria hissed at him, controlling the volume of her voice.

"I will, but promise me first that you're going to play with me when we get home?"

He asked her mischievously, propping his eyebrows.

He watched as Maria's face blushed even more.

"you pervert, okay!"

Maria surrendered and just nodded to him.

Tobias smiled inwardly, silently thanking that her mood lifted. His Iya was back again!
