Back For My Daughter

While Little Jia sat on the small bench beside the bus stop looking around at the new area they had walked this time, Ye Qian had his cold eyes locked onto the man who had tried to extend his hand towards Little Jia a few moments ago.

"Feifei, do you think he is a bad man?"

Little Jia asked as she munched on the small pack of savoury snacks that was given to her by her Papa after he gently placed her on the ground.

"CHI CHI!"

The little thing nodded her two feathery hands pointing at the stranger from before.

"Ohhh."

"Then I think he needs punishment for what he has done."

As if she had understood what her little friend wanted to say, Little Jia nodded her head and looked at her Papa, who seemed to be asking the stranger while the fellow was on his knees, likely begging as he was crying.

Meanwhile, a few moments ago.

After the little girl went to the bench, Ye Qian turned to the man with a freezing glint in his eyes.

While he said that, Hao Ran gritted his teeth, regretting his decision.

It wasn't like he was told to go there, but it was he who had asked for it, the Grand Elder wanted to send his junior brother for the mission, but he thought that after the mission was completed his junior brother would gain better resources and would quickly surpass him stepped in and took the mission.
