Back For My Daughter

Chapter 761 Patriarch Of The Jing Family

Meanwhile, as Mr Guo muttered as he stared at the photo of Ye Qian in his hand.

In a big mansion in some other province.

Within a room filled with various kinds of antiques.

A man placed his phone on the dark-coloured ebony table and sighed while shaking his head.

It looked as if the man was in his mid-50s.

Although the clothes he wore looked simple but he radiated an aura of high and lofty position.

Someone who had been used to in a higher position and had the ability to look down upon thousands with his strength.

Meanwhile, there was a similar photo in his hand that Mr Guo had.

He was none other than the Patriarch of the Jing family who had power throughout the nation and could also be said to be one of the top 10 families of the whole nation.

There were a lot of photos hung on the wall which stood behind him.

Among one of them was a frame which was nearly a meter wide.

It had about six people.

An elderly couple, a young couple and two children, a boy and a girl.

The whole group of people seemed like a family and looked very happy in the photo.

As for the girl in the photo.

If Little Qiqi and Little Jia were here then they might have found her a familiar, but they still would not have been able to recognize the girl in the photo.

And that was because the photo behind Patriarch Jing was taken about 25 years ago.

And there was no way that the girl in the photo would have been seen by the two little girls given some obvious reasons.

"How can Guo Hang have so much trust in a young man, and with what I have found so far, I don't think that he would have even known him?"

He frowned as he stared at the photo on his table.

Of course, his interest had been piqued due to the way his old friend had asked for help from him.

Of course, he was willing to do anything, but what his old friend Mr Guo asked for made him wonder.

But he was sure that the person whom Old Guo was looking for was definitely not simple.

Who was Mr Guo, the person who had many pharmaceutical companies under his command and ranked in the top 100 in the whole world?

If he was looking for someone with such craziness, then the person he was looking for was definitely not as simple as he looked.

"Old Guo said that the guy didn't even touch him and was able to tell about his illness, could it be someone from the old traditional medical families?"

"But that is surely not possible, for someone to reach such a level as to just recognize a health problem with just sight is not something that anyone who is just in his mid-20s would be able to do?"

He shook his head.

Of course, he knew of some of the few people who would be able to sense any kind of illness from just a simple glance at someone.

But all those people were even older than him, much less someone as young as the person in the photo.

"Let's see, if he is able to cure Old Wang then it would be for the better."

He sighed and then placed the photo in his drawer wanting to lock it.

But just as he was about to close the drawer, he heard a creaking by the door.

"So you finally found the time to meet this old man?"

A smile appeared on his face as he saw the figure that walked in through the door and in front of him.

"I am sorry, Dad, I just wanted to spend some time alone for a day or two."

A sweet voice was heard and the woman smiled as she sat on the sofa while lazily lying on her back.

She was a beauty and seemed to be in her early 30s, wearing a grey shirt, pair of white jeans and and a green jacket.

"You have been out from the sect for about a week now, are you sure it was just a day or two?"

Patriarch Jing shook his head and stood up while doling a glass of water in his hand.

,m "Dad, you know that our family is not like before, and I don't feel like staying in this house for long."

The woman smiled wryly as she stared at the photo that was behind her father's table as he walked to her while holding a glass of water.

"SIGH, I know, but you two are still my children, I can't see you like this."

Patriarch Jing sighed and handed the glass to her as she gulped onto it in a go.

"Hmm."

The woman nodded and then turned back to him.

"How is elder brother?"

"Nothing to say, he is just obsessed with all that, it's really hard for me to pull him out of that."

Patriarch Jing shook his head.

"Dad, our family is not the same as we were, brother is just..."

"You know what I mean to say."

The woman sighed placed the glass.

"I just hope that we will be able to be just like how we were back a few years ago."

"I also hope that we will."

The woman nodded and then said with a smile.

"I saw a small family, Dad, they were really interesting."

"Ohh, tell me more, since my daughter has such a high evaluation about them, then I am very eager to know about what kind of family it is."

Patriarch Jing smiled seeing his daughter smile.

It could not be wrong to say that he was meeting his daughter after a year and all this long, even if he had his son with him, it was no less than having no one around them.

It would have been really hard for him, if not for the other work that he had to take care of being the patriarch of such a family and was engrossed in all the business.
