Ten minutes later, all of Adrian's vital signs had stabilized.

Mandy anxiously waited. She frowned and said, "Why haven't we heard anything from the doctors?" 'Shouldn't Adrian be spitting blood, just as Ouyang said?' she pondered.

Jamie took another blood sample from Adrian. If no more problems were present in the child's blood, then that would mean that all of the poison had been removed from his system.

That night, Jason and Daisy came to the hospital to visit Adrian. They were followed by two servants, clutching numerous bags of nutritious food.
