Cassie had no clue what was going on inside Colin's head. She assumed that he was worrying about Mandy's affairs. Pursing her lips, Cassie didn't say anything more.

Colin entered the ward together with Cassie and Jamie. After being inspected by the bodyguards, they were finally able to enter Adrian's ward.

There was a heavy atmosphere inside the ward. They found Adrian lying listlessly on the bed with an oxygen tube inserted inside his mouth. His face was ghostly, which made everyone pity him.

Mandy stared at Adrian with her almond-shaped eyes. Her eyes brimmed with tears as she realized how helpless she felt.

When Colin, Cassie, and Jamie entered, Mandy was at a loss and had no response for them.

At two o'clock in the afternoon, Adrian's nose had started bleeding. Mandy had been next to Adrian when this happened. She had been drowsy beforehand, but when she touched the warm blood from his nose, she woke up immediately.

"What is it?" Mandy asked listlessly. She was now lost in her thoughts.

Colin glanced at Adrian, who was laying on the bed quietly. He noticed that there was infusion on the back of his left hand. He felt uneasy when he gazed at Adrian's face. Perhaps it was because he loved Mandy.

"Can we go somewhere to talk privately? If it's not convenient for you, we can talk tomorrow instead." Colin's heart ached when he saw Mandy's pale face.
