Morry had never given birth to a child before, but she felt sorry for Lisa, who looked pitiful.

"Lisa is still young, so I think it would be best for her to get rid of her bad habits slowly." With a small smile at the corners of her mouth, Morry stood her ground and continued to feed Lisa.

Mandy was slightly irritated by her impudence. She feared that her child would become willful and capricious. If her bad habits couldn’t be corrected, it would become more difficult for them in the future.

Morry felt uncomfortable after being scolded by Mandy. She curled her lips and said in a sullen tone, "Is it that serious? Lisa is only three years old. What do three-year-olds know? She’s not as bad as you make her seem."

"She’s my daughter. I’ve been taking care of her day and night for three years, so I should know what kind of person she is. A three-year-old knows how to do a lot of things." Mandy rubbed the spot in between her eyebrows. She didn’t want to argue with Morry right now. As a mother, all she hoped was that Lisa would behave herself.

"Morry, I know we’re good friends. I don’t want to argue with you regarding my child’s education, and I don’t want to upset you over this matter either. I just want Lisa to grow up well. I think we both want what’s best for her, right?" Mandy reigned in her frustration.

She knew Morry well and felt that she had to change her approach.

If others were tough on her, Morry would be tough in return as well. When someone approached her gently, she might be more willing to give in. Ever since she became a lawyer, she had never lost a lawsuit. People saw her as a tough woman.

Colin was also a smart man. If Morry was an empty vase, he wouldn’t have kept her by his side for this long.

Morry felt better after hearing Mandy's words. She calmed down, and the coldness in her face eased. "Mandy, I don't want to quarrel with you over things like this. I know what you're saying is right, but at the same time, Lisa is a young girl. If she has to change, it will take time for her to do so. She needs to adapt slowly to a new way of doing things.
