Driven by his desire for money, Mr. Zhu followed Eve’s instructions to replace the real diamonds of JS International with fake ones. She assured him that if he did so, he would be able to keep the authentic diamonds. Mr. Zhu didn’t anticipate that the diamonds of JS International would glow red under the infrared light and show the company’s logo. The thought of exposure terrified him.

Mr. Zhu quietly observed everyone in the hall, his eyes sweeping frantically over them. His heart began to pound faster out of nervousness. He hoped that the host wouldn't rat him out.

At his instruction, Officer Mike reacted quickly. He immediately picked up the radio and began to issue an arrest order. Within five seconds, his men had arrested Mr. Zhu.

Mr. Zhu was fifty-five years old now. He could have retired in a few years and enjoyed life at home. Going astray wasn’t worth it.
