BLACK MOON - Black Magic War Beginning with Jailbreak - [Full story illustration available]
Episode 76: The Elsewhere [Illustrated]
A blue bird is flying over the desert, quiet as if nothing had happened. Bell and Robin know what a monster looks like lurking beneath them, although it's the same view that's spreading beneath them not too long ago.
The appearance of a man lion so horrible that it didn't seem like it belonged in the world was burning hard behind the two brains. There's a huge bowl-shaped trap at your feet, as always, and you can't even go downstairs in a detour.
"You can't do this forever, can you?
Bell, on Robin's back, said so when he saw Robin, who never showed how he was moving.
"I know. Even a man lion who doesn't know his strength has been given the power of that bandit. Move around and you'll be dead."
Robin was always cautious against Bell, who was always just a hit and thought about the operation. In any battle, carefully set up an operation to challenge. That's how Robin does it.
"So this is how you were flying, you just consume wasted magic, huh?
"I know that, too. The Lion must be waiting for us under that hole. Anyway, we're gonna get closer there and make a preemptive strike."
Robin was also inspired by Bell, who is wanting to move quickly and is a wuss. Bell is right, even as we work out our operations in the air like this, Robin just consumes his wasted magic. This place is just a place to hit the bell. It's also a place to try and get on with the method of war.
"Come on, get ready, you crab."
Bell unfolds a magic formation on his right hand side, keeping Robin on his back. We're all set to attack. Approaching the edge of the hole, Bell launches an attack. That was a simple operation.
Eventually, as Robin descends sharply toward his temple, Bell approaches the Manlion at once. Robin is going to descend rapidly, draw a V-shape and return to the sky.
"Fuck you, man."
Setting his aim carefully from above Robin, Bell finally unleashed an overflowing bonfire. I just said check it out first.
"Guiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"
Immediately afterwards, a man lion, who sensed the enemy approaching him, puts his face on the surface.
"Don't do it."
Bell, who saw it, accidentally gasped. Manlion, who reacted late to the approaching Bells, put his face on the surface, but that was after the Bells launched an attack. Waiting for the Manlion was a fiercely burning fireworks.
"No matter how much bandit power you're given, the otum looks empty"
Convinced of the victory, Robin safely returned to the sky. Before the battle began, they were two people with fears they couldn't get to know, but now they feel like they've defeated this monster already. It makes no sense without the intelligence to use it, trying to be endowed with powerful powers.
"Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu"
The unexpectedly attacked manlion rushes back into the ground with an odd voice. The move was very agile and the monster was quickly invisible.
"All right, all right."
Bell makes a gutsy pose again to show. Apparently, the Manlions aren't as strong as they feared. Because of Ishar's presence, which shows bottomless power, Bell may have stood up more than necessary.
"Look closely! No damage has been done to the Manlion!
"Huh? He totally ate my black magic."
Bell's exalted mood, which he assumed had decided to compete in one blow, is smashed in an instant. Indeed, Bell's fire must have hit the Manlion. And yet, how could Robin know that?
"Your eyes are a pit! Take a good look. All the flames you unleashed are there. I'm just saying he got away with it.
"Whatever ⁉"
When I looked at the surface where the Manlion had his face until just now, there was a burning fire unleashed by the bell. If you look closely, all of the flames that Bell has unleashed are burning there.
This means that the body of the Manlion that disappeared into the ground is not on fire.
"It's too much to underestimate. It's not like this yet."
Ishar laughed at Bell with his nose as he watched the fight away.
"Uh-oh, I'm not serious yet."
At this time, Bell remembered when he fought Ishar. At that time, Ishar easily withdrew the fire that Bell had unleashed. This manlion's move was based on it. The Manlion left behind all the flames he was supposed to have received and hid them.
"Wow, wow."
Shortly afterwards, Bell leans back and is about to fall off Robin's back. The man lion, who was supposed to be hiding in the ground, suddenly put his face on the surface again. The opponent you're fighting now isn't just Ant Hell waiting for trapped bait.
"Phew..."
When he showed up, he saw Bell struggling badly with the disappearing manlion, and Ishar was smiling unknowingly. Fighting in front of you is someone your dear companion resents from the bottom of his heart. But strangely, Ishar was projecting nostalgic memories on Bell's face.
This is Valdarza 11 years ago. Valdarza is a rural town on the eastern outskirts of the Commonwealth of Limia. This was a very mediocre town with a thriving civil industry. In the next few hours, Valdarza will turn into exactly hell, but I don't see any such omens right now. Has Arrosha intentionally targeted this town?
Whatever it was, the calm atmosphere still engulfed the whole town on this day. In such a gentle windy corner of an idyllic country town was the figure of one boy.
His name is Galan Drake. He's a boy who later vows revenge on Bell. Eleven years later Galan is releasing an atmosphere of insanity and turning to banditry, but he didn't see any such signs at this time.
There was just one thing in common. From this time on, Galan had a hammer in his hand.
His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Drake, were carpenters. The Drakes were among the most popular carpenters in Valdarza, where the civil industry flourished. In evidence, many of the buildings in this town were built by the Drakes.
Galan watched the architecture of the new house on both the day it came and the day it came, as well as the back of the couple who had been busy repairing the house they had built so far. Every day the family surrounds the table and listens to architecture is Galan's daily routine. The people around him were as close as their families, so Galan never felt lonely. It was stronger to say that I wanted to help my parents quickly and help them than to feel lonely.
While his parents were at work, Galan was studying architecture unknowingly. Thanks to his enthusiastic working parents, there were a large number of architectural books in the house, but he was not yet young enough to know how difficult it was. Still, Galan, who wanted to help his parents with something, was suddenly getting into hands-on practice with the nails and hammers that were in the house. Fortunately, there's more wood around the house than I can count. Besides, Galan has seen his parents work many times.
It's actually quicker to try than to read a difficult book. Galan, who thought so, was opening a case with nails, in front of a large amount of wood. Galan takes out one nail with an unfamiliar hand, but was too clumsy, he just stabs the tip of the little nail in his finger.
"Painful"
Galan, still young, teared unwittingly at the pain. Galan was in tears impatiently. I guess I knew there wasn't anybody around at this time.
…………
To endure the pain, Galan remained silent for a while. As the pain draws over time, he hands the nail again. I never hurt my hand this time.
Then stand that nail on the wooden plate that was rolling at your feet. I guess you're going to give it a try.
Tong tong tong......
In a quiet corner of town, the sound of a hammer and nail gently hitting each other echoes. Because this place is surrounded by trees, after a while its sound is absorbed into the leaves of the deliberate tree.
Galan's punched nail is diagonal to the plate and bends every time it is struck. The first challenge is something that anyone fails, let alone a young child who is trying. Even though he failed and deserved it, Galan was wrinkling between his eyebrows regrettably. Unconvinced Galan takes out the nail again and continues his practice.
Galan continued his constant nailing practice. I guess I was pretty sorry. While the boy continued his practice, there was a metal noise in the quiet corner of town. The sound was also as if playing some music. As it was, Galan kept hitting the nail until he was convinced.
"Ok!"
About an hour later, Galan finally stopped hitting the nail. Looks like I finally convinced myself. After a long practice, Galan finally gets to work on making things. Once the nail and hammer were placed, Galan headed toward the pile of wood. When I pulled some plates out of it I took it near the nail case.
"You're gonna surprise Mom and Dad!
Galan smiles with a full face and superimposes the board and the plate. It's finally the beginning of manufacturing. The boy shakes his head after superimposing the board over and over again. I wonder what you're going to make, and thinking of the ideal shape, the boy had the board superimposed over and over again.
"Hehe..."
After a while, Galan finally took shape, gripping the nail and hammer again. He was no longer an artisan. Even though it had only been a little over an hour with nails and hammers in his hand, Galan looked like a skilled craftsman.
The boy keeps the tip of his tongue out of the edge of his mouth, closes one eye and starts hitting the nail again. Galan's attempt to hit the nail was a single elongated plate, supported by two plates lining parallel, two plates and one plate in vertical contact.
Tong tong tong......
The metal noise, which had stopped for a while, began to sound around again. Did you react to this, the little birds stopping at the trees winging out simultaneously? What a sight to rest your heart. In a corner of town surrounded by nature, small carpenters are encouraged to practice.
"It hurts."
A few minutes after that, Galan screams again. I should have practiced enough and been ready, but the boy failed again. Now I didn't stab the nail in my finger. Galan missed his aim and hammered his left hand with the nail as much as he could. If you do that, even big adults will cry out loud. Galan, who experienced unparalleled severe pain at first, cried heavily without patience.
"You sound good, boy."
In the meantime, Galan hears an unfamiliar voice. There wasn't supposed to be anybody around, but there's definitely someone's voice. Suddenly embarrassed, Galan quickly wiped the overflowing tears. I don't want anyone to see me this embarrassed.
"... who is it?"
Galan, who finally suppressed the overflowing tears, shouted at that one with his face in bright red. The embarrassment went hand in hand, and Galan was screaming harder than he had to. You want to be strong.
"Hahaha...... sounds like you did it flashy. I wouldn't have any choice but to cry. Me? I'm just another person."
It was Ishar Babari, king of bandits, who appeared before Galan. The Amnis Desert is not the only stronghold for other bandits. Although it is now often the time to operate in the desert, Algriver, made up of those who do not have a homeland, does not inherently have a Negijo. Ishar looked a little younger these days than he did when he met the Bells.
"... Yosostuff?
Although I tried to bark majestically, Galan couldn't understand Ishar's words. Valdarza has no notable tourist destinations, so others rarely set foot.
"Well, didn't you understand my words? I'm not from Valdarza. We call people from outside this town other people."
"So where did you come from?
"It's a nowhere place......... by the way boy, what are you doing?
Galan, barely swallowing Ishar's words, just floats the loose look in between.
"I'm making a bench"
"You're still small...... you're pretty good at it!
"It can't be any smaller. Don't! When you can use this hammer and nail, you're gonna help me, Dad and Mom do their job!
Galan's attitude, which rebelled in a prestigious manner, was close to Bell's.
"Right or right... are your parents carpenters? That's a fine thing! But, boy. Well, that won't help your parents, then, will it?
Ishar admired Galan's hiatus. But it was Ishar the Bandit King who couldn't finish just praising the toddler.
"Ugh, shut up! Yosothing shut up!
"Hahaha! I like it. Funny kid!
Ishar smiled unexpectedly when he saw Galan bark in a slightly uncomfortable intonation. Apparently Galan still doesn't fully understand the meaning of the word elsewhere. The words Ishar hung on Galan at this time were very similar to those hung on Bell.
Ishar is laughing, even though he intends to be angry with me the most. Galan had no idea why. Are you glad they're mad at you? The little galan had no idea what a man named Ishar was thinking.
"Well anyway...... boy, let me show you how I make a fine bench"
Ishar slaps Galan on the shoulder. That's how the Bandit King stared at such a loving Galan's face for a while.
"Yo, there's no way you know how to build a bench on something like that."
The boy was underestimating Ishar. Galan hates being directed by others by sight from above.
"Dude, even now I've built a cabin on my own, right?
"Really?"
As soon as he heard Ishar's strength, Galan stopped showing any hostility he was stripping away. Galan had a really simple personality.
"Even if it's true. Come on, let's make a fine bench with me!
"Yeah, yeah, yeah."
Thus, Galan, a very ordinary boy, met King Ishar the Bandit. Around this time, other people (Algriver) were not only in the Amnis Desert, but in various parts of the Union of Limia. Just the last few days Ishar has been visiting Valdarza a lot and happened to meet Galan.
Then Galan took a handful from Ishar, and while injured, he created a bench and went. Although Galan looked at his parents' work every day, there was no way that a small child would be able to do the same thing on his own, and in a short time.
Ishar seemed to have really had experience building huts, teaching Galan that technique in an understandable way. There was constant laughter between the two of us during benchmaking. In their first meeting, the two of them understood how compatible they were with each other.
"All right, you've got a great bench! If this is all you can make, I'm sure you can help your parents too!
"Hehe!
In front of the two of them, a splendid and solid bench could be made. Though it doesn't have a back, it looks very comfortable to sit on. It's not like the first boneless bench Galan was making. Galan was impressed with Ishar's skill and high ability to teach. For Galan anymore, Ishar is not just a Yosothing.
"Do you want to sit down quickly!
"Yeah!"
"... this is the best place to sit."
"I made it! It's obvious.
"Who do you think made it because of? Hahaha! Don't forget the existence of this master ~!
The two of them, sitting on a bench ready to do so, began to play innocently. Even Ishar, a large adult, was shaking like a child, with the two sitting on the bench, tickling each other and shouldering each other. Even though Ishar and Galan had just met, their appearance was as if they had been friends who had been suffering together for years now.
The laughter of the Bandit King and the little child echoes in the woods surrounding Galan's house. At this time, the two of them never dreamed this would be their last good time. The laughter echoing in the woods also felt some emptiness. Were the trees watching over the people of Valdarza aware of the tragedy they were about to visit?
Then, Galan waited for his parents to return. He was Ishar laughing at each other with Galan for a while, but less than an hour later he left. He is the Bandit King of the Others. I don't stay very long. I guess it's quality.
"I don't know yet..."
Just wait and live, Galan's parents aren't coming home. Galan sat still on the bench waiting, but could not wait in silence any longer. The boy wanted to see his delightful parents' faces early. I wanted you to praise me with a kind voice. Galan, who was sitting on the bench, finally got up and went out of town to look for his parents.
It wasn't the gentle parents smile in Garang's eyes who reached town with anxiety and anticipation in his chest. What was spreading there was a bright red view. The flames are rising in momentum from every part of town. That was a sight Galan had never seen before.
From the red town, you can hear people screaming. The screams you hear are loud enough to pinch your ears, and they're tall. The whole town is desperate to escape. Galan couldn't move after witnessing the sight of a hell of a painting. I don't listen to my body because of fear. The boy also understood that his life was in imminent danger, but his body could not move. Galan was feeling the heat on his skin that would take his life.
That's when Galan witnesses the roots of this catastrophe. At the edge of town, a blonde boy as old as himself walks. As the people around him fled, the boy did not show any ruse to escape, nor did he seem afraid of anything.
If you pay attention to his right hand, isn't there a bright red flame coming from it? Galan lost his word. This was the first time Galan had ever seen a wizard.
The appearance of a blonde boy rampaging around in the town of Valdarza looked demonic to Garang. A demon who unleashed one flame after another, instantly plunging the town to the bottom of fear. Naturally, to say the boy Galan saw at this time was Arrosha, who was manipulating the body of a young bell.
Galan couldn't help but notice how Arrosha was raging around and wreaking havoc. They may take not only important family members, but even their own lives. Even knowing that, Galan couldn't help but look away from the demon who looked like a young child.
"What are you doing? ⁉ Let's get out of here!
"Huh? Yosostuff......?
That was when I grabbed Galan's arm forcefully and there was one man running out. It's Ishar. He was supposed to have left this town, but he was coming back to perceive the anomaly. Was there an attachment while we were on the bench together, Ishar took just one Garan Drake and fled the burning Valdarza?
"Get off me. I still have my mom and dad in town. I need to pick them up soon... they're gonna die."
Garang, held by Ishar, desperately resists and tries to return to town. To say my parents haven't been home yet, they're still in town. Mr. and Mrs. Drake were likely in the heart of a burning town. If we don't hurry and rescue them, normal people will surely die.
"Calm down, kid. It's too late."
……………⁉ ︎
Ishar said cold words about stopping Galan from moving, desperately scratching his feet. Galan understood it somewhere in his mind. I understood, but in words, it suddenly becomes more realistic. Indeed, the possibility that Galan's parents were alive was endlessly close to zero at this point. Galan was. He stopped moving completely for a while.
"But... you still don't know that. We have to help you..."
"Do you want to die? ⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉⁉\82
"Shut up and let go."
After a while, Galan rumbles out again. I really want to believe in the survival of my parents. Galan is desperate. Help your precious family. You can't give up.
As it is, Galan loses his life with his loved ones. However, that was a shallow idea for Ishar. The desire to help loved ones was painfully clear to Ishar as well.
Still, under this desperate circumstance, we cannot put young children in danger of their lives. He was a galan desperately trying to escape Ishar's arm by wielding his arms and kicking his leg up, but the Bandit King was holding onto Galan. No matter how beaten or kicked, the Bandit King would never let go of his arm.
Eventually, the two were as far away from Valdarza as they could not see; the two arrived at the Amnis Desert, the land of sand.
Reaching the desert, Ishar finally brought Galan down to the ground. Galan, who was still resisting, rushed all at once towards Valdarza as soon as he put his foot on the ground.
"Eh ⁉"
But Galan's movements were stopped immediately. And when he saw his feet, there was a hand made of sand, two hands of sand grabbing the feet of Galan, and not letting go.
"What the hell is this?"
"It's my power. You can't go back to your hometown any more than you've come this far. You no longer have a home. You've become someone else, just like me."
At this moment Galan became one of the others (Algriver). Ishar is right, there is no longer a home in Galan.
"I'm not a fucking thing. Go home and help Mom and Dad."
"Don't you see, by now there is no one left in the town of Valdarza dead! Everything in your hometown has burned!
"I'm not anybody else! I have a place to go."
"Forget about our homeland, we are the others who have no homeland. You don't have to be sadder."
……………
It was Garang, who had been arguing with Ishar, but after a while he became silent. Can't you think of any objections, convinced by Ishar's words, or just tired?
I don't know about that, but Ishar's words were definitely on Garang's mind. Galan decided at this time to live as someone else without a home.
Valdarza was burned down, and thus another, Garan Drake, was born. Galan, who lost his hometown and family, vowed to avenge a young blonde demon. Galan began to apply the architectural techniques taught by Ishar and build weapons. All the weapons Galan makes give the impression of being boneless and clumsy, but they were very sturdy. In it, I guess I could do that giant hammer too.
While banditising as someone else, Galan learned about the identity of the culprit in that case, Belle Queer Faust.
Then a year ago, the two finally had a reunion of causes. Belle Quill Faust and Garan Drake. It is alike and non-alike. Both are men who swore vengeance on one human being and were to live a completely different life than they did 11 years ago.
