Blooming in Different World is a Lily Flower

Day 12: Intuition and Cloudiness

Something's wrong with the servant who delivers a minimum of meals to the barn.

The reason Fuuka came to think of it that way was simple.

It was so simple.

"Whoa, whoa!

It is a cough.

Servants are coughing to bring meals, change clothes, steaming towels to cleanse their bodies, etc.

Very understandable and ill.

"So, are you okay? The doctor..."

"My husband called a doctor. And the doctor said he didn't know what caused it. I mean, he said it was okay."

"I don't think that means okay!?

"... because they say you shouldn't talk to Master Fuuka very much. Oh, yeah, yeah."

and a small glass is handed over.

"I couldn't bring a vase, so I took this"

"Yeah, that's enough. Thank you very much."

Fuuka took it and stroked it lovingly.

All right, then.

The servant leaves with a scratch.

Though I was blinded when the door opened because I continued to stay in the dark barn.

The servant's neck had the same red rash as yesterday's young maid.

(... that scratches, that rash)

Fuuka pours plenty of water from the drain into the glass.

(a rash on the neck, this...... somewhere after all)

And a round of lily flowers.

(Somewhere, you must have seen it)

Live carefully.

That way, the white flowers glowed softly in the light that plunged through the window of brightness.

Huka thinks.

That rash.

Definitely a bad thing. This hunch is beyond hunch. Close to certainty.

Study and drill the healing techniques and white magic that Fuuka has piled up.

Based on that, it's intuition.

Maybe.

If it was before I spent time with Miako, I could have squeezed this intuition, pretended not to see it, and done it over.

But.

Miyako told me that she likes the hard-working huka.

Miyako was sincerely pleased that there were those whom Fuuka had saved with his treatment.

You think you're happy or you're having fun?

He said that being able to help people with what they've accomplished, not with what they put up with, is what evokes such glorious emotions.

Miyako taught me.

"... that there is no one, no one!

Fuuka lifts her voice up.

Fuuka, who had ever solemnly followed everything, lifts up his voice.

"Who! Bring the book from my room!

It would be about a book.

Dan, the head of the Hamilton family, replied empty-handed, worried about all the airspace.

He didn't even seem to think about the literature on white magic and related pharmacology and restoration techniques owned by Fuuka, which amounted to roughly 300 books, etc.

"That's the last one, isn't it?"

"Yes. Ho, ho, ho!

"You cough too......, rest already today"

"But my husband..."

"Fine!

Saying to a servant who was saying something about a toad, Fuuka closed the barn door.

Sit in front of 300 loaded books.

Read.

Turn.

Read, read.

Turn.

Index.

Read, find, read.

Infectious.

Respiratory disorders, including coughing.

Red rash on the neck muscle, lined in a single muscle.

"It's probably an infectious disease. If the doctor misses it, it should be a very rare case..."

Find.

Find.

- Find it.

"... ahhh"

of a thick corner of the book.

Small description.

Plague epidemic hundreds of years ago.

Epidemic diseases, beheading fever.

The initial symptoms are a red rash around the neck.

Cough and dyspnea.

After a few weeks of latency, intensified.

High lethality rate.

If there are intensified patients, the infection will spread explosively.

We have to do something.

My head was on the panacea found in the Attica region.

Moongrass.

It's not here, please outline.

(In the first place......, I need to get out of here somehow)

I have to let you know this soon.

Huka gets up in a hurry.

Outside the window of brightness.

The sky was, at some point, cloudy with drooping weather.
