The success of Dead End astonishes everyone.

The subscription rate has been growing at a remarkable speed since the play was released. Dead End keeps receiving favorable remarks from professionals from the entertainment industry in the following six months. For example, experts say, “It’s the first play with a novel theme in Hua Country. The images of characters are richer and livelier. Actors and actresses are professional. In addition, the plot is tight and logical.”

Bo Yu’s image has finally recovered from his coming-out scandal which happened a year ago. The dashing man becomes the most acclaimed actor of the year.

However, he hasn’t acted in any play after Dead End. The man only renews his contract with the Song Group as its public face.

It’s the first time that Bo Yu shows up before the public after a year. With an ivy league haircut, he wears a jet-black suit. His stunning face and obvious hormone allure both men and women who can’t help but scream.

The man is born to be a model, but he chose to be an actor.

It seems that Bo Yu feels awkward in the press conference held by the Song Group to announce that he continues to be its public face. The man hasn’t faced such a situation for a long time. He is nervous and … shy.

Other than reporters, fans who support Bo Yu across the country crowd in the hall. Most of them are women. Standing there, they scream immediately as they see Bo Yu.

The gorgeous man opens his mouth with a microphone in hand, but his voice isn’t amplified. Bo Yu pats the microphone in confusion. Silence shrouds the hall out of the blue while everyone stares at the man on stage.

As the person-in-charge of the Song Group, Song Shilin is on the spot. He doesn’t notice that Bo Yu is in a dilemma. However, he senses the weird atmosphere. Then, the man turns around.

Bo Yu keeps patting the microphone. He tries to speak, but it doesn’t work.

Upset, the director fumbles for a spare microphone.

Song Shilin casually hands his microphone over to Bo Yu and takes the broken one. “Use this one.” Whispers the former one.

Song Shilin’s microphone isn’t turned off, so his hoarse and seductive voice is amplified. People on the spot exclaim after a short pause.

Bo Yu gawks at his fans who are chattering. “God, he’s so sweet!” They exclaim, “He really loves his boyfriend.” “Jesus! They almost kill me!” A fan draws a deep breath with a smile. Hearing that, Bo Yu coughs to stop them, “Excuse me. It’s a press conference for new products, not a fan meeting. Shh, quiet.”

A female voice rises from the crowd, “Are you jealous? No worries. You are always our favorite!”

Bo Yu’s face reddens. He feels embarrassed when teased by others in public. “Can you girls be missish? You might fail to find a boyfriend. I won’t introduce boys to you.” Teases him.

The fans attending the conference are in charge of Bo Yu’s fan clubs. The man has joined their chat rooms. He confabs with them if he’s free. Therefore, they become friends.

The woman who joked laughs. She raises a light board to cover her face. It seems that she flushes.

Song Shilin tilts his head to glance at Bo Yu. When noticing Bo Yu’s coat-tail is wrinkled, the former helps tidy it. He doesn’t detect those fans’ eyes widening.

“All right. Let’s start the interview.” Bo Yu squints at Song Shilin who wore him out last night, so he ignores Song Shilin in the morning. It turns out that the downcast man has been planning something. ‘We’re in the press conference!’ Bo Yu rolls his eyes inwardly.

‘A mute man always has evil thoughts!’

Journalists attending the conference raise normal questions for Song Shilin’s backgrounds and his relationship with Bo Yu. They dare not give Bo Yu a hard time, “I believe everyone here has witnessed the success of Dead End. Will you act in other plays, Mr. Bo?”

“I’ll consider if there’re suitable and interesting scripts. Besides, even if I won’t act in such plays, I’ll take part in them in another way.” Beaming, Bo Yu answers in an indirect way. He is preparing for his future career. However, the man grins but says nothing when confronting reporters’ following questions.

“Mr. Bo, your acting skills are more sophisticated. Will you continue to chase your dream? To win the Academy Awards?” A reporter carries on.

After Bo Yu made up his mind to work in the industry, he talked about his dream in an interview, “I dream to go global and win the Academy Awards. Every actor or actress dreams about that, right?”

He has maintained the dream for years when he has much time on his hands.

The dashing man doesn’t change his dream.

However, he is no longer an inexperienced man. Bo Yu says everything out once reporters play tricks. “Yeah, that’s my dream, but regret is wonderful sometimes. People will be more perseverant if they can’t get something. However, they might not cherish it once they obtain it.” Replies him.

These words encourage reporters in the audience.

A journalist from an evening paper rises to his feet out of the blue, “Mr. Bo, did you mean that you have broken up with Mr. Song, or your relationship is just for publicity?”

Bo Yu chuckles, but Song Shilin beside him pulls a long face. The latter stares at the bold reporter coldly.

The journalist is taken aback because of Song Shilin’s gloomy countenance, but he insists, “Mr. Bo, please answer my question. Are you really lovey-dovey? I doubt that.”

“Why do you doubt our relationship? Is it because we haven’t displayed our affection in public?” Bo Yu gazes at the reporter with a smile, “Your question annoys me.”

The journalist continues in a daze, “But a couple can’t help but openly flirt with each other, not like you. You never kiss, so it’s reasonable for me to doubt that.”

After glancing at the reporter, Bo Yu tips his head back to see Song Shilin. He picks up the microphone again, “We don’t need your confirmation. Why should we show our love before you?”

After saying that, Bo Yu ignores the dumbfounded reporter. Turning his back on the audience, he stops before Song Shilin. Suddenly, the man stands on tiptoe and kisses his lover while resting his hands on Song Shilin’s shoulders.

People on the spot go crazy. They ceaselessly hit the shutter buttons while shrieking. Flashes chase the dark away.

Bo Yu soon leaves Song Shilin’s lips for they’re in a public place.

Standing before his lover, Bo Yu stares up at Song Shilin with a smile. His sparkling and beautiful eyes are full of complacency.

Song Shilin touches his lips. The sudden kiss astonished him. However, Bo Yu bit him before he could respond.

A smile jumps onto Bo Yu’s face. He doesn’t say anything to Song Shilin, but raises his microphone. The smug man speaks to the flabbergasted audience, “It’s not a fake Hollywood kiss, I just don’t want you to see that. All right, is there any question?”

“What does Little Watermelon think after knowing you have a boyfriend? Doesn’t he feel sad? Is he delighted? I found the boy liked Mr. Song when I watched a variety show.”

“Does Little Watermelon rely on Mr. Song? Did you two start dating before we know? The boy has already accepted Mr. Song as his father, right?”

Bo Yu contemplates, ‘These questions are difficult to answer.’ After a while, he picks up the microphone, “Actually, Little Watermelon encourages us to date each other. He likes and relies on Song Shilin. I can’t give you more information. That’s my privacy. Sorry.”

The reporter doesn’t give up, “Mr. Song said in an interview that you had met his mother. Mr. Bo, was that true? Has the Song family accepted you?”

These are sharp questions.

Bo Yu beams at the audacious journalist with eyes narrowed, “Yeah. I’ve told you that our parents have already accepted us being together. We didn’t tell you because… it was not the right time yet.”

“We had to come out because you took our photos. In effect, we had no time to prepare a statement. You were too fast.” Bo Yu chuckles, trying to joke about that. It’s tough to balance an official answer and a personal answer.

The audience burst into laughter.

The Hua people know when to stop, so reporters start to switch the topic after Bo Yu sheds a little light on his love life. They ask about the new play and stop focusing on the relationship between Bo Yu and Song Shilin.

Noticing that, Bo Yu grins broadly. He answers questions more sincerely.
