Bringing Life To The Wasteland!
Chapter 21 - 21: Catching up, November 30th, 2099
Walking down an old dirt road, a man wearing a cloak could be seen walking without any problems.
His clothes were tattered and if someone were to examine closer, they would see that underneath the leather cloak, was a blue jumpsuit with the golden number, 22, etched into its back and just on the man's back, was a knapsack filled with some food and water.
If someone were to see the man's face, they would see a handsome young man but with his face covered in dirt and grime, most wouldn't recognize such a quality.
Suddenly a deep, ethereal and ancient voice spoke into the man's mind.
"Elijah...how goes your journey?" The voice asked.
"Master...it goes well...I am currently within the pre-war state of Nebraska and soon will reach the state of Iowa. I would say that I am halfway through my Journey," I told Yggdrasil, the guardian of nature.
"And your encounters?" Master asked.
"I have encountered several villages and tribes along with a couple of Raider Camps and disposed of them," I informed master.
"I have taught them the Teachings of Nature and how to effectively hunt and gather enough food to feed themselves without damaging the environment," I informed master.
"Good job, I will talk with you once your reach your destination, may Mother Nature bless you," Master told me before I feel this presence leave.
With prideful steps, I continued to walk towards Boston while carrying the sapling that was gifted to me by Master.
...
After disconnecting my mind from Elijah's, I then connected with the minds of the two others and learned of their situations.
I sent two of them in the same direction and the last the other direction.
Elijah's destination was Post-War Boston and future home to Fallout 4.
Vale's Destination was the Capital Wasteland, the future home of Fallout 3.
And finally, I sent Chris to California where I wanted him to start up a covert Colony where we could watch and spy on the NCR's future movements.
I do not know if I would be immune to the plague or even if my inhabitants would be immune and would rather not test that theory.
Once the Scorch Beast problem is dealt with I will probably blend in with the other factions that would move into the area after the Scorches were dealt with.
Besides that, I wanted to begin preparing for the eventuality that is the Main Characters.
I did not know if all of the MCs of Fallout would be peaceful and I would rather start preparing just in case there is a rotten apple that fell too far from the tree.
In any case, even if I was preparing for the MCs, I was also preparing for the future major powers of the wasteland.
Namely the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, The Insitute, The NCR, and Caeser's(no idea if I spelled it right) Legion.
Each of these powers would be a major threat to me in the future, especially the factions that were technologically advanced, namely the Brotherhood of Steel, The Enclave, and the Institute, the remnants of Pre-War America.
The Brotherhood of Steel are descendants of Awol Soldiers from just before the bombs dropped while the Enclave is the descendants of the government of America.
And finally, the members of the Institute are the descendants of a group of American scientists.
Of the three the faction that I would most likely be able to befriend would be the Institution since they are not nearly as aggressive or xenophobic as the other two factions.
And naturally, besides the Insitute, there was only one other place that I could currently think of that was as technologically advanced as the institute, and that would be the scientists in Big MT, where Patient Zero and another one of my colonies lie.
Although Patient Zero was the first Spore Carrier there's not all that much that differs it from the other Spore Carriers besides it being the strongest variant of a Spore Carrier, the Beast Variant, meaning it had sharper, longer, and more durable claws meant for fighting, thicker skin, and increased intelligence that made it a very deadly enemy that even a well-prepared player would find troubling to beat.
[A/N: This is more for lore reasons, in the game it's pretty easy to kill the FIRST spore carrier, which makes no sense to me, I expected a boss fight and yet all I got was a slightly beefier spore carrier]
If we were to go in order, the levels of strength between the Sprore Carrier would be Spore Carrier(Normal Variant)-->Spore Carrier(Brute Variant)--->Spore Carrier(Savage Variant)--->Spore Carrier(Beast Variant).
Currently, of all inhabitants including the rangers, Patient Zero is still the strongest and that was by a landslide.
I bet that Patient Zero even had the power to fight a man in power armor!
A suit of armor that basically makes its wearer as durable as a Tank...
That's right, Patient Zero had claws strong, durable, and sharp enough to even damage something like that!
Of course, what did make this much more acceptable was the fact that Patient Zero was almost three times the size of a normal Spore Carrier, and its body was built like a tank!
Thick skin as tough as thick wood, thick and strong tendons and muscles, and an absurd speed that allowed it to run on all fours as fast as a dog or other quadrupedal animal.
And since its body was completely transformed into a Fungal Colony, it didn't bleed or have any internal organs making the monster all the harder to kill.
