Broken Night

: Small talk - hold on

insist

My regular job is office work, so I won't go into detail here.

A few days ago, I was chatting with an uncle in his fifties, hereinafter referred to as Lao Xi. (Don't ask me how he is called Lao Xi, it's me anyway.)

Teach him how to use the phone.

Occasionally, I saw that Lao Xi's bookmark on the computer browser was Mayday's [Later Us], and he immediately said in surprise: "Fuck, so **** oh, listen to Mayday!" Because at this age, most of me are I see listening to old singers...

Although Mayday is not the newest group, it is quite new for this age group.

When Lao Xi heard this, his face was full of interest: "Oh, you don't know, by the way. You are a new employee. Every year at the company's Spring Festival reception, I will sing on stage!" Lao Xi seemed to be touched by something and took it with excitement On the phone, he showed me the clips he played and sang at home.

That is the contentment of Mayday.

Although I don't know much about music, at least it sounds good.

The tone is very accurate, and the air is sufficient, anyway, it is **!

Lao Xi showed vicissitudes on his face: "I have been playing guitar since I was a student, and I have been playing it all the time. There are performances on the stage, and there are constant exercises at home. Even when I study abroad, I go with the guitar."

"The friends I played with at that time have all given up now."

"Some are getting married and starting a family, but they don't have time."

"Some lose interest."

"For me, that's part of my life."

Lao Xi showed me the calluses between his fingers: "Without these calluses, pressing the strings of the guitar will hurt. Only with continuous practice can we have these calluses."

In my opinion, the calloused name for Old West Finger is Perseverance.

To maintain an interest, a year or two is not difficult.

Three or four years is not difficult.

But ten years, twenty years... that's not just a difficult word to describe.

That would be an obsession, a habit that has been integrated into one's own life.

I don't know how long I will continue to write in the future. Even though Po Wen Ye is my third novel, I don't know if I can persist for five or ten years.

But I will learn from the old West, persevere and work hard.

Think of writing as burning my passion until it burns out.

At least then, I will have a clear conscience.

Just wanted to chat a little, see you tomorrow.
