Brush Up Your Proficiency

#363 - Wang Hao's proposal

After a lively opening ceremony, Wang Hao and several other recognizable actors were ushered to the makeup room for a relatively lengthy session of application and photoshoots.

Wang Hao could only cooperate with this, understanding the principle of 'being in his position, planning his affairs.' His goal was to complete the task, while the production team wanted to create momentum and a good final product; these weren't conflicting objectives.

After taking several group photos with celebrities he wasn't very familiar with, he could be considered to have briefly acquainted himself with everyone.

After confirming the official start of filming with the director, he returned to 'Shi Wei Tian' with Cheng Yufei and Li Nan.

The two women had originally planned to wander around for a while, as it was a rare opportunity to go out together, especially in this ancient city that could be considered a tourist destination. They hadn't intended to return to 'work' so quickly.

However, they couldn't resist Wang Hao's insistence. He had matters to discuss with everyone at 'Shi Wei Tian,' and he hadn't really been grinding his proficiency all day, which made him feel uneasy. He wanted to return to the restaurant to grind some skill proficiency, even if just a little.

Seeing this, Cheng Yufei and Li Nan had no choice but to drive back to the restaurant.

When they returned, 'Shi Wei Tian' was experiencing its peak rush hour. Seeing this, Wang Hao temporarily put aside his matters and went directly to the kitchen to begin cooking.

With Wang Hao's addition, the entire 'Shi Wei Tian' once again exuded a familiar aura that the customers recognized. That peculiar aroma caused the number of orders to increase significantly.

However, this scene had no effect on Wang Hao, whose stamina seemed limitless. It even allowed him to increase his overflowing proficiency faster.

But for the other employees, it undoubtedly increased their workload significantly. Everyone's pace quickened, and they had to consider each customer's mood while working, leading to a dual drain on their energy and stamina. Wang Hao noticed this and became even more determined about the matter he was about to discuss.

After 'forcibly' ending business for the night, while everyone was enjoying the late-night snack Wang Hao had cooked, he brought up the suggestion he had been considering for some time.

Looking at everyone gathered together eating the late-night snack, Wang Hao said softly:

"Brother Chang, Feifei, and Li Nan, I have a proposal I'd like to share. I don't know if it's feasible; you can decide."

Wang Hao gave a heads-up in advance. Seeing that their attention was focused on him, he continued:

"I roughly calculated that the restaurant's monthly profit has reached nearly ten million. While some of that is due to the appeal of the kitchen's dishes, most of the credit goes to the employees of our restaurant. They are the most fundamental strength of the restaurant and the foundation for its sustainable development."

"Therefore, I suggest that after deducting necessary costs and reserves, we use 80% of the restaurant's profits on the employees. This includes not only wages but also other benefits, maximizing what we can afford, all from the employees' perspective. This should be the foundation for long-term development."

"As the saying goes, 'When poor, cultivate your own moral character; when prosperous, benefit all under heaven.' We now have a little bit of that ability, and I hope we can try to take this step. After all, we only live once, so we should do something different."

"Of course, the biggest loss in all of this would undoubtedly be for Feifei. It still depends on your opinion, as you are the big boss."

"If we start trying this, I'm willing to hand over all of my shares. This isn't just being polite, and I'll also agree to Brother Chang's previous proposal to train more culinary talents for future branches. As long as future branches also implement this model, I'll be there whenever needed!"

Shen Xingyan completely expressed his thoughts, and his true intentions were as he said: he wanted to do something different for this world.

In his opinion, it was highly unlikely that anyone else would receive a cheat like he did. If he still acted like others, recklessly accumulating wealth or only caring about himself, his scope would indeed be too small.

After reading 'Lao Zhuang' and improving his mental strength, he no longer had much interest in money.

As for his skill proficiency, it was already almost maxed out. As long as he proceeded step by step in the future, he could steadily improve without needing to pursue anything excessively.

Therefore, his current goals were only to experience different lives and fulfill his vision of helping more people achieve a better life!

After Wang Hao's lengthy suggestion, everyone present stared at him in astonishment.

From Wang Hao's formal opening remarks, they had sensed that this suggestion was unusual, but they hadn't expected Wang Hao to have such shocking remarks.

Using 80% of the restaurant's profits on employees was equivalent to spending nearly 8 million each month! Not to mention their small restaurant, even a medium-sized company with thousands of employees might not be able to afford such expenses.

And now Wang Hao had proposed such a bold idea, which indeed went against the business models they had encountered in their lives.

This was only happening in their small restaurant. If it were in other large companies, this suggestion would probably be met with a stern rejection as soon as it was raised.

After the shock, the first to react was Li Nan. As someone who often stayed at home, she didn't have much ingrained agreement with normal business models. She only felt that Wang Hao's idea was crazy, and then quickly began to think about its feasibility.

However, the more she thought, the more excited the smile on her face became. She even looked at Wang Hao with a burning gaze, as if she were seeing a person radiating light, with a hint of fanaticism!

Cheng Yufei, who was next to her, simply waved her hand dismissively when she heard Wang Hao say that she would be the most affected. After this period of operation, she had already completely recouped her investment. Everything she was getting now was pure profit. In her opinion, her goal as an entrepreneur was simply to not lose money.

As a foodie and a 'rich second generation' in the eyes of the public, she didn't have much pursuit of money. Instead, Wang Hao's words, "We only live once, so we should do something different," touched her heart greatly.

Thinking about being able to do something unconventional, she felt a surge of excitement in her heart, as if she were seeing a 'master-level' dish placed in front of her, arousing her strong interest.

Her gaze towards Wang Hao, the proposer of this idea, also became filled with brilliance!

Chang Lei, who was on the side, was different from the two women and fell into a period of contemplation.
