148. Chapter 148 Tigon

The moment the door opened, they walked in.

As soon as the elder entered the door, he transformed into a grey-haired old man with a scepter.

Fu City Mystery Land was criss-crossed with streets. Similar to the streets of human beings, there were peddlers calling and children playing. The only difference was that there were tigons flying everywhere in the sky, pulling goods or pulling customers.

After they entered, the door automatically closed. There was a tigon guarding each side of the door.

When they saw the people arriving, both tigons lay on the ground, “Good day, Elder Huan Feng.”

When the people on the street heard the greeting, they stopped what they were doing, no matter if they were walking on the ground or flying in the sky. They turned to look at Huan Feng. “Good day, Elder Huan Feng.”

Huan Feng waved his hand. The two tigons at the door stood up, and the rest resumed what they had stopped.

‘It seems like the elder is well respected.’

Zhuo Hua thought to himself.

Zhuo Hua and Kaka looked at the street as they walked. Zhuo Hua was curious, while Kaka looked at the streets and recalled some memories.

Zhuo Hua looked around, but there was no human. Those human forms were all transformed from tigons, who stared curiously at Zhuo Hua as he was a human brought by Elder Huan Feng.

At sight of these tigons, Zhuo Hua remembered something. “By the way, Kaka, can’t you transform into human form?”

Just as Kaka was about to answer, Huan Feng replied, “Generally, Beasts can transformed into humans when they evolve to the beast prince. Kaka is already the beast king, but it’s a candidate. Only after the seletion could it transform into humans no matter if it accepts the relics or not. Only the chosen Beast could accept relics.”

It was the first time that Zhuo Hua heard such a selection of candidates, but this was a clan tradition for thousands of years. Zhuo Hua would respect it. It made sense that the tigon had been flourishing for tens of thousands of years.

The elder led them to walk forward. At the end of the street was a house taller than other buildings. It looked like a palace, but it was built of stone.

“What is that?” Zhuo Hua asked.

“That is the palace of the king, equivalent to a human palace,” Huan Feng explained.

They walked to the palace gate, where four soldiers were guarding both sides of the door. When the soldiers saw them, they half-knelt on the ground, “Good day, Elder Huan Feng.”

Huan Feng continued to walk on with Zhuo Hua and Kaka.  After they passed the guards, the soldiers stood up.

“My dear Kaka, I miss you so much.” a woman rushed out of nowhere. A gust of wind blew past, and Zhuo Hua’s nose was filled with a pungent scent.

He looked at the woman, who was old but charming. She wore purple clothes with flared sleeves and trousers, which set off her slender figure and revealed her fair arms and belly.

The two soft fair balls on her chest wobbled as she walked, and four soldiers guarding the door had bleeding noses.

She held Kaka in her arms and put its head on her chest which was coveted by many people.

Zhuo Hua looked at Kaka, who was struggling in the woman’s arms for breath, and thought this woman would not hurt Kaka. But he felt sorry for Kaka inwardly.
