Celestial Peak

Wang Ling descended through the stairs. The runes around him were lighting up, but as they did he managed to piece together some sort of words. 

He tried spreading his chaos qi around the area and runes floated around and entered his mind. This time, it was not painful, rather, it was pleasant and he still managed to take one step at a time.

The voice once again echoed in his head.

"As you descend to this room, you must have plenty of questions in your mind. The reason why this world was sealed, the reason why there are tombs, and what is beneath this place.

"As you are about to eventually learn of the truth, I think it is just right for me to tell you what is truly happening. My name is not something you should know, but I was once called the Emperor, the first person to gain his own mind.

"I want to tell you everything but time will run out just as I am about to reach half of it so I will only tell you about this realm and my decisions. I do not know how many eras have passed since that time, but in this realm, my wife and I descended as we found the chaos of the universe to be unbearable.

"At the time, we were merely acquaintances as we shared the same origin, we represented our own forces, and one day, we disappeared after saying our farewells from our own people. Her children retreated in a realm they created themselves, and I sealed the birthplace of my children and sent them down to mingle with their own kind allowing them to rule over their own kind.

"Both my wife and I descended to a lower realm, seeking to pave way for peace. We cannot simply create the beings we have left behind as the past would simply repeat itself so we created new ones, these new beings are weaker but they had potentials. 

"I created three races, the Humans, Beastmen, and Elves. She created the Savage Beasts and the Spirit Beasts and we tried to let them intermingle and create a new paradise for all. However, in the end, we failed as chaos still prevailed ending in life disappearing in those planes. So, we tried again and again until we spent eons before reaching this realm.

"During our travels, we fell in love with each other and decided to get married. Because there was no higher power than us, we just decided to claim to be husband and wife, borrowing the titles of the lower creatures used. Moving forward, we descended to this realm. 

"The mistakes we found in the realms before was that they had too much power. So, we named the realm, Celestial Spirit Realm telling them the limitations was Celestial Realm while only teaching them until the Foundational Phase as to not create any Immortal with night everlasting life. 

"We also granted the Beasts the same rights as the humanoids letting them live the way I designed my creations. Although conflict and death still existed, no massive war occurred, and together, they all lived.

"Constructing buildings to suit the two worlds, it was the closest to what a utopia we envisioned. They were weak, but they managed to live in harmony. 

"It was then that my second in command appeared before us. He was searching for us, wanting me to return to our people. But, I refused, saying I was searching for a way to create an Eden that would make everyone smile.

"He nodded his head and then left dejectedly saying he would help me search for a way so I can return. He then left with an enthusiastic smile.

"Time passed and when my wife and I completed what could be an imperfect yet perfect Eden that could house everyone's desire while still preserving life, we were ready to return, ready to create a world where peace was possible, and war did not cause everyone's life.

"We even created a system for our first creation, a way for us to live without needing to kill and wage war against one another. We were ecstatic to return.

"But then, he appeared before us once again with him was a humanoid being clad in black and the skull of a beast. 

"He turned to me and my wife, laughing, saying that this was his creation, claiming that the harmony we were searching for was right before us. He speaks that they were beasts who need nothing of food or pleasure. They were beings of obedience who will follow orders without fail. He presented me with a solution, but I only saw an abomination saying that it was not what I wanted.

"An unholy forced union of beast and man, a creation created from the souls of their followers, trapped in the body of an undying being. That is not something I wished to see, what I wanted to see was the harmony of life not the obedience of the dead.

"We fought, but I was too soft and was defeated. He laughed at my weakness and my wife got angry and tried to get revenge, but what we didn't know was that he was getting stronger. I created him to be the closest to me, but unlike myself, I didn't gain strength from the chaos of other beings as I gain my ability from the origin of the primordial chaos. 

"My wife was slain, and I lost control of my sanity. I killed him and stripped him off of his Chaotic Qi and piece by piece I dismantled his flesh, ripping him off his blood and flesh thereby stripping him off his power. 

"I wanted to erase his existence, but I was unable to do so as I was already too weak. I was injured too gravely, and it was then that I had two choices. Whether I seal him off or wait for my strength to return, I chose the first choice. If I waited any longer, he would also regain his strength and with the ensuing chaos, he would eventually win.

"I sealed him and away from each other. Him in this world where I would hide forever and his creatures of death in a new realm I call the abyss. I knew my end was about to come and knowing I would need to seal this world, I went and spread life in the previously decimated world, but I failed to instill to them the limits of cultivation.

"After returning, I created my own legacy that will make a similar being like him who will oppose him the future. If you can walk this path, then you must have been the one to find the Scriptures I left. It pleases me to know that fate let only one person gain the scriptures of Heaven and the Hellish method. You have been brought to the Void and gained the power of chaos after unsealing the world, if you can, please, help me regain the Universe's balance... that is my only wish.

"I wish to tell you more, alas, my time has come."

Wang Ling stopped receiving any information from the runes. As he stood before a giant door, he now radiates the aura of chaos. He stood before the door with an unsettling feeling coming from his chest.

He wished to turn back, but as his aura of chaos was felt around the room, the door automatically opened.

Wang Ling was dragged into the room that shut as soon as he entered. And before him, was a chained skeleton wearing an armor that was somewhat familiar to Wang Ling.

As the skeleton radiated, the aura of chaos.

A voice echoed within Wang Ling's body.

"Thus, the story ended and a new era will start."

it was the Gray Figure, regaining its memories.
