Chapter 155 - Reflections After Commuting: Another Business Plan!

"Cousin, I--- I have no words to say! You did not tell me about such a stubborn kind of character! That teen is a lot to handle! You better give me a good share of your profit once I rope them in!" the woman called Yen partly spoke her opinion after Sofia left the vicinity of their company.

"How can I mention such things when I am not even aware of it! This is the first time that I have personally met that teen. Only Jing Jing had contacted her before," boss Wang sighed once more.

The two of them remained seated on the table even though the meeting had been finished for several minutes already. Both of them wore the same upset and confused expression.

Boss Wang could not believe that he agreed with Sofia's condition and let his two employees work with the Chronos squad. Meanwhile, his cousin, Yen, was baffled by the character of the young girl.

Yen massaged her temple and exhaled loudly. "For a moment, it felt like I was conversing to a top expert company executive! Have you felt it?"

"You felt that kind of energy from that young girl too? No wonder the contract that Jing Jing had before was drafted like that. It turned out that the squad leader of the group has a strong character!" boss Wang mentioned.

Yen tilted her head and inquired, "The first contract between your company? Was that what you told me about the exclusive press for a teenage group?"

"Yes. Jing Jing reported to me that there was no lawyer involved when she discuss the exclusive press contract. I also thought that it may just be a coincidence or that there was someone backing with a high status that was backing with the Chronos squad," Boss Wang replied.

"That girl, she seemed to have experiences with dealing and negotiating with other people. How old is she?" Yen suddenly felt the need to ask Sofia's age.

"I did not pay attention to this group of teens. Just find out the information that you want to know when you start working with them. Make sure you will convince them to work for the brands that would give us high income," Boss Wang instructed. In his hand was the paper that Sofia handed to him. He finally look at its content and saw only one brand were listed by Sofia!

"That's their list? Didn't you sent those companies last night? How come she already sort out her choices?" Yen simultaneously probed.

"I did sent this list last night. That young girl is also prompt and decisive. Can you handle her and make her obey us?" boss Wang sought assurance from his cousin. There was a shadow of doubt on his heart that he was trying to ignore.

"Of course I will handle them properly! Just wait and be at ease! Let me see the lists that they made?" Yen opened her palm to get the piece of paper from boss Wang.

The man quickly handed the paper and sighed again. He felt like his energy was fully drained by just meeting briefly with Sofia. It could be the content of Sofia's list or his overall interaction with the young lady.

The woman scanned the content of the list with one of her brows arched upwards.

"It's only this local electronic shop? There are so many companies that had reached out to our company about their availability to endorse right?" Yen looked up and asked the man.

"Yes, there are other five companies," boss Wang blandly said. He sounded exhausted for a reason that even he did not know.

"Then, why would that young girl only pick a cheap electronic shop? I get that they are gamers... but she even picked the company with the lowest budget!" Yen mumbled as she clenched her fist tightly. The paper in her palm was automatically crumpled and torn.

"It's your job now, Yen... Just convince the teen to work and produce money for us," boss Wang shrugged and finally stood from his seat. He swiftly bent his waist left and right, the front and back, imitating a poor posture of hips exercise.

"Okay! I do not agree with this list! Is this even a list?! That young girl obviously does not know what is best for them. I will pick the company that they will endorse!" Yen stated.

"Okay, I'll leave you to it. Good luck! I'll head back to my office and draft the contract in this matter," boss Wang silently spoke and felt very dejected. His chest felt heavy for giving in to Sofia's request.

Yen nodded her head to acknowledge boss Wang's words and also left the meeting room.

On the side of Sofia, she was already in the rush for her lunch reservation at the Rosen Club. It happened that the bus was already full but still made a stop in front of her.

Only when she was already inside the bus she found out that there was no vacant seat for her.

After she transmigrated, she had never had any experience of riding a bus. She had managed to commute earlier. But now that she was expected to stand until she arrived at her destination, she could not help but groan.

'I will buy a service car after the acquisition of that building. I will ask sister Jing if she can arrange it for us,' A plan came up in her mind. Even up until now, she had not yet fully considered getting a car for there was no regular parking area in her place and her current age. And the school was just a walking distance.

Sofia anticipated that she would be struggling with the ordeal of standing while the bus was moving on the road. However, when the bus driver started the engine, she felt almost thrilled by the experience.

After a while, the bus swayed as it took a left turn. Sofia's grip on the horizontal iron bar tightened in fear that she would be knocked down...

"Miss, you can have my seat," a gentleman offered.

This man noticed Sofia's hand holding firmly on the iron bar as if her life depends on it. He was sitting few rows away and was paying attention to his phone when Sofia get on the bus. But when the vehicle swayed, he also looked up and just took notice of her.

"It's fine. Thank you for your kindness, sir!" Sofia declined the offer slightly bowed at the gentleman.

"No, you should sit!" the man insisted and moved towards her, leaving the seat empty. He thought that the lady was just shy but in reality, she was enjoying the ride!

Seeing that the man had already left his seat, Sofia took a final glance at the road ahead of them before occupying the seat.

By the time she sat, her business instinct kicked in. 'It seems that there is not much competition on the transportation market too. Maybe, we can also venture into public transportation.'

What could have been a usual commute had actually given her an idea for the potential market in business! Sofia stared at the back of the gentleman who offered her a seat for a long time.

Then, she took her phone and sent a chat message to Brent and her members that she was almost at the venue. All of them had also confirmed almost right away that they were on their way.

She did not tell her members about her agreement with Grace. But she asked them if they knew about the mayor's daughter. And they confirmed that they had recognized her.

-

The four members were sharing Clark's car. So, when Sofia mentioned the mayor's daughter, Claire could not help but voiced out her curiosity.

"Why does Sofia asked us about the mayor's daughter?"

"Maybe it is related to the business. After all, we need a permit to operate," Clark made a guess.

"Ahh, okay. Should we make friends with the mayor's daughter so  that we can have the permit?" Joey questioned. His tone was too innocent that Clark stifled a laugh.

"Bribery is against our law! We can get the permit for business operation even if we are not friends with the mayor's daughter," Clark muttered,

"Guys, I think Sofia may have met the mayor's daughter? She told me that she had an appointment with the district councilor's office. So, it might not be about the business," Stephen said but his tone was a bit distant.  He remembered what Sofia had said before they part ways earlier its that he did not think that she would meet Grace.

"That's also possible. I'll just ask Sofia later,"  Claire nodded her head and continued scrolling on social media. Most of the feeds in her account also showed Sofia's gameplay last night against the streamer.

When Joey noticed what Claire was watching, he leaned closer and watch too.

"It's crazy that Sofia played this summoner mage. This character is considered dead," Joey expressed. He meant that no one was playing the summoner in the game.

"Now that Sofia is playing that, who knows if she will use this character on the regional competition? Then, it would be a revival of the summoner!" Clark excitedly said.

"That's her plan. It was a replacement just in case her tank character will be ban!" Stephen confirmed.

"Now, we should think of our backup character too," Joey quickly agreed.

"Well, my marksman role is fine. I can choose either the gunner or archer. But, for you guys, it's better to make arrangements too. Sofia said that after the update, we can finalize our strategy," Stephen stated.
