"Huh….."

Emilia let out a cold laugh, "And who's the one who taught you?

"Don't you dare tell me that he is the one who taught you!"

It already reached this point, and there was nothing left.

Along with what Oliver Walker had done these few days, Emilia felt disappointed, and the cautious look in her eyes was getting more and more obvious.

"Master!"

Hendric Smith nodded his head, "He taught me everything, so I never forgot..."

Then, Emilia who was biting her lips suddenly shouted, "Enough!"

She had already lost everything. Why was it that she still couldn't escape this world that was full of lies?

Did god really think that her life could still be even more miserable?

Hendric Smith trembled after getting screamed at.

There wasn't anyone who dared to speak to him in such a manner.

But, this woman was his master's wife!

Even if he was now a godly doctor of the International Medical Center, he knew that there was still a hierarchy of status.

He finally understood why his master wanted him to wait at the lobby earlier.

It was obvious that the conflict between his master and his wife was already at the point of no return.

"I didn't want to lie to you, so I'm telling you the truth!"

Oliver Walker frowned, and he spoke sincerely, "I know that you may not be able to believe me, but…..can't you at least give me a chance?

"Just once!"

If Emilia wasn't able to put down her guard against him, it would be extremely difficult for him to gain her trust again.

"How could I trust you?"

There was a cold smile on her face, but her eyes were filled with disappointment. Her voice was filled with hatred as she said, "Do you really take me as a fool, or do you think that I'm blind?

First, it was her father, Isaac Davis, and now, her husband, Oliver Walker!

These men were people whom she used to be closest with!

But in the end?

They lied to her!

There were no words for her to explain the anger that she was feeling!

Oliver Walker was stunned, but he quickly said, "I'm not lying to you!"

"If you don't trust us, you can just let us try once!"

He knew that Emilia had misunderstood him once again.

Plus, from what she said earlier, it was obvious that she had once been lied to in the past.

But, he was not lying at all!

"Fine!

"You aren't lying to me!

"Let me ask you then! If your apprentice is so great!

"Shouldn't you be better than him?!"

Emilia could no longer control her emotions as she screamed, "Are you going to tell me that you, as someone's master, are worse than your own apprentice?!

"Olivia is your daughter!

"As her father, why aren't you saving her on your own? Why did you get your apprentice to do it instead?!"

She felt hopeless!

Completely hopeless!

These tricks were completely illogical!

This was just an insult to her intelligence!

After being questioned, Oliver kept quiet!

In fact, Emilia was right. His medical skills were much better than Hendric Smith's.

Logically speaking, he didn't need his apprentice to do so!

But the problem occurred 4 years ago, during the war...

In order to kill a hundred thousand enemy soldiers, he exhausted all of his inner 'Qi' and had been injured ever since.

During his first year, he was like a useless piece of trash where he couldn't even pick up his bowl.

In the second year, he could slowly bathe himself.

Then, during the third year, he could finally stand up.

As for the fourth year, he hadn't recovered back to his peak, but he was already much stronger than most people.

But, his inner 'Qi' was still empty!

Without these inner 'Qi', how would he be able to use his needles?
