Chronicles of the Beginning of Love
Chapter 11
Qiu Huaijun really did catch a cold. When he woke up, his head felt dizzy and breathing was difficult.
Last night’s rainstorm raged for half a night, but today’s weather was beautiful; even the sunlight was transparent and golden. He originally planned to find He Qingchuan and politely debate with him, but since he got up late, He Qingchuan and He Wang went to early self-study class.
Qiu Huaijun couldn’t reason with He Qingchuan, so he put on his slippers and stomped on He Qingchuan’s bed angrily, wrinkling up the clean sheets. A dozen or so brown footprints appeared on the fabric. He cursed as he stomped, sometimes saying “sperm in the brain”, sometimes saying “male dog in the body”. Other than it being a little regretful that they didn’t rhyme, it was rather addicting.
His breasts were swollen from the kneading, so when he put on his binder it was uncomfortable.
Qiu Huaijun didn’t look at his lower body, but it was probably in a similarly terrible state.
This seemed to be the first time he’d had sex with He Qingchuan while sober; remembering that pleasure, the kind that broke him, scared Qiu Huaijun. He’d never thought to beg for mercy when fighting, but when he was fucked into incoherency he wanted He Qingchuan to let him go.
Even now his knees were red. Qiu Huaijun was unable to confirm if he despised making love or not. The pleasure that made him shudder all over couldn’t be resisted by anyone, like a nicotine addiction.
He frowned and took a few gulps of milk, bit a piece of bread, and forcefully slammed the door on his way out.
More than He Qingchuan fucking him awake, Qiu Huaijun was worried about He Wang.
Did He Wang find out? Yesterday, as he was fucked for nearly half an hour, He Wang didn’t seem to appear at all. Qiu Huaijun started to question if He Qingchuan had locked He Wang inside the bathroom or not.
“Qiu Huaijun?”
Qiu Huaijun had his eyes lowered to the English vocabulary, lost in thought.
“Qiu Huaijun!” Fan Yang called him again.
“Ah?” Qiu Huaijun looked over blankly.
“What are you thinking? I’ve called you several times already.” Fan Yang scooted over and flipped the page for him. “The teacher’s already on page 55. Pay attention, da-ge.”
When he heard the two words “da-ge”, Qiu Huaijun avoided his gaze uneasily. “What is it?”
“There’s a senior experience exchange meeting next class, do you want to go? The teacher said there’s a group that’ll be organized before school ends for us to listen.” Fan Yang scratched his head and said carefully, “It seems like your two brothers will be there too, He Qingchuan… and He Wang? They ranked in the city’s top three again, so the school’s having them share their experience.”
Qiu Huaijun spun the pen in between his fingers and stayed silent for a while before saying, “I’ll go.”
“I thought you wouldn’t want to go… then it’s okay as long as you’re going. If you don’t go, I’ll be pretty bored there by myself.”
Fan Yang released a breath. Seeing the teacher look over, he hurriedly lowered his head and pretended to study. Suddenly, he heard Qiu Huaijun say, “I want to smoke.”
Before he reacted, Qiu Huaijun put down his pen again. “Pretend I didn’t say that.”
It wasn’t actually as if he needed to smoke. It was just that when his head was a mess, Qiu Huaijun unconsciously relied on cigarettes as comfort.
He was afraid that He Wang knew, but he had no way to ask himself. It was hard not to feel guilty, so he could only sit on pins and needles.
This kind of senior experience exchange occurred annually, and it was mostly the third year seniors that gave speeches.
It’d clearly only been a night since he’d seen He Qingchuan, but curiosity had started bubbling up inside him. Was it that for a top-notch student, his lust would be more intense, his sexual skill higher? Such a rarity.
The impeded breathing that a cold brought made it hard for Qiu Huaijun’s mood to take a better turn. He hesitated, trying to formulate a way of asking He Wang that would be more natural. He formulated for half a day without formulating anything.
In the afternoon when class ended, the entire class went to the auditorium together. He and Fan Yang sat in the center, near the back.
The seats in the auditorium were soft. Qiu Huaijun wore a black mask, and the moment he arrived he began to doze off. His nose couldn’t breathe, so he could only open his mouth; it was terribly uncomfortable.
The air conditioning was on in the auditorium, white mist puffing out from overhead. It was filled to the brim with people. Qiu Huaijun squinted up at the golden yellow lights. After the host finished his long and rambling introduction, loud applause sounded as He Qingchuan walked onstage. He had wide shoulders and a narrow waist, so he looked more attractive in the school uniform.
Qiu Huaijun didn’t know if it was his imagination or not, but it seemed like after He Qingchuan walked onstage, he looked over at him from afar.
This was quickly rejected by Qiu Huaijun. How was it possible, from such a distance.
Qiu Huaijun narrowed his eyes, considering He Qingchuan. Suddenly he heard the female students behind him whispering to each other.
“He’s actually so handsome…”
“His didi is actually really handsome as well, it truly is good genes…”
Qiu Huaijun took off his mask halfway, revealing a fair and clear face. He turned his head towards those two female students and blinked. “Are you talking about me?”
The two female students’ faces visibly became red, not knowing how to react for a time. They timidly nodded.
“Thanks,” Qiu Huaijun laughed benignly. He had a cold, so his voice was stuffy. “But I think I’m more handsome than him, so next time you need to first say that I’m handsome. Excuse me, let’s keep listening, keep listening.”
Fan Yang was about to fall over laughing, cursing him as a “manwhore” for a long time.
From a neutral standpoint, He Qingchuan truly was quite handsome. Including the hand that he rested on the podium, all long and distinct joints. The warm yellow light shining on the gold-framed glasses he wore made his side profile look much gentler.
Who knew this honors student would suck his milk and awaken him in the middle of the night by fucking him? He hadn’t even finished listening to He Qingchuan, but Qiu Huaijun already felt his chest getting swollen.
He made the binder himself, so it was rather coarse.
At this exact moment, the fabric of the binder rubbed against his swollen red nipples. Qiu Huaijun could distinctly feel milk slowly flowing out. He pulled his coat tight around himself, preventing it from leaking out.
Suddenly, a shadow fell over the seat beside him. Qiu Huaijun lazily looked over, unexpectedly finding He Wang. He Wang put his index finger to his lips. “Shh, I secretly came over here.”
“... Ge?” Qiu Huaijun’s eyes widened.
“How come your voice is hoarse, did you catch a cold?” He Wang lowered his voice, coming closer to him. “The floor yesterday really was too cold, did you freeze?”
The bit of guilt inside Qiu Huaijun’s heart was about to drown him, along with his fear and worry. He clenched his fist and said hoarsely, “Ge, do you need something?”
“Oh, it’s not really anything. I just wanted to ask you, were you disturbed by me last night?” He Wang laughed a little, as if embarrassed. He said softly, “I couldn’t sleep last night, so I stayed on the porch on the first floor for around an hour in the wind until I got sleepy. I closed the door when I went out, and it was a little noisy, so I was afraid I disturbed your sleep.”
“You… you were enjoying the wind?” Qiu Huaijun was a little unable to believe it.
“I’ve always had insomnia, and every time I’d stand on the porch for a while. It rained yesterday, so I watched the rain for a long time— it’s become a habit by now.” He Wang met his gaze unflinchingly, his tone apologetic. “I disturbed you.”
There was something strange in his words, but at the moment Qiu Huaijun couldn’t say what was wrong.
Since it was like this, Qiu Huaijun still let out a sigh of relief. Sweat had collected on his palm, but his mood had taken a turn for the better. He smiled at He Wang. “You didn’t disturb me, I slept very deeply. It’s almost your turn, so go on stage, ge.”
“Okay.” He Wang stood up, and unexpectedly rubbed his hair. “I’m going now.”
He Wang’s last movement really did make Qiu Huaijun’s heartbeat speed up. He didn’t like intimate touches, especially from someone of the He family, but he really was unable to truly hate He Wang. Especially when He Wang spoke to him warmly.
“Your ge?” Fan Yang looked like he’d seen a ghost. “Your relationship’s better now? Holy fuck, he even touched your head. You guys really do have brotherly love. Before, wasn’t it like a fight every time you guys met?”
“I’ll explain to you later. I’m leaving first to get some cold medicine.” The swelling in his breasts was too painful, so in the end Qiu Huaijun made the decision to run away. He zipped up the school uniform, his emotions confused as he cast a glance at the stage He Wang was currently speaking on. “If the homeroom teacher asks, say I went to the nurse. I’m leaving now, bye-bye.”
“Ah?” Fan Yang stared helplessly as Qiu Huaijun bent over and ran away. He subconsciously glanced at He Wang, then suddenly found that He Wang’s gaze was looking right at the entrance of the auditorium— Qiu Huaijun pulled open the large door of the auditorium, leaving only a view of his back as he disappeared soundlessly.
