Chronicles of the God Devil Emperor

Within his mind, Alex started flipping through Alexander's memories again. Finally, he retreated and sighed. Alexander has reached the 8th Level of the Ascension Realm before he passed away in the trial. Alex called out the system and asked, "System, do you have any information of Cultivating or Cultivation?"

Seconds later, Information once again rushed into his head. This time, however, was not as bad as last time as he had learned many thing regarding the soul, including ways to make open up his soul when taking in a great amount of information.

The transfer stopped in a few seconds and Alex opened his eyes. His eyes glowed bright as the information he received excited him to no end.

{Cultivation is the study of the Dao, the path or paths that leads to the top, the peak of existence. There many paths in cultivation , some great or small, some powerful or weak and ordinary. These paths are cultivated by the myriad of beings of the universe. God, Devil, Immortal, Demon, Asura, Buddha, Ghost, Dragon, Phoenix, Titan, Ancient, Saint, Spirit, Void, Emperor, Blood, Rune, Sage, World. These are only just a small amount of paths that one can use to cultivate the Dao, the list goes on. Where do there paths come from you ask? From a time way before the desolate and the immemorial . A lost era before even the primordial and primeval. This was a time where beings with power unimaginable to us in the present era roamed the universe undefeated and unchallenged.

Towards the end of this era, it is said that many of these being with power that could destroy our era with just a single unconscious head shake begin a great battle or more like a war to find out who was the strongest, the most powerful, the king of them all.

This war it is said lasted countless ages, and towards the end of this war is when our the great ancestors of our myriad races first appeared. When they saw these beings of unimaginable power, they were in awe and worshiped them. From these beings, our ancestors studied their mysterious and great powers for years before being enlightened about the paths. Our ancestors then began to construct these paths based on these being to be suitable for our bodies. After millions of years, they were finally successful. One race successful created the Emperor path and became known over the years as the Human Race. Another Race created the Dragon path and became the Dragon Race, as did the Phoenix Race, and and so on.

As these paths were being created, the beings were destroying one another, moving forward to being the most powerful king. Finally, only one of these beings was left, having slain all the others he came king ruling over all, including our ancestors. Under his rule for millions of years, the myriad races ancestors made great progress with the paths, researching all the paths the other races had created to be suitable for themselves.

Millions of years later, the paths had reach maturity and almost all of out myriad races ancestors had great unstoppable powerhouses in their pockets. With such power, our ancestors grew irritated with the being ruling over their heads. Our ancestors finally said screw you to the powerful being kind, and revolted against him. All they're unstoppable powerhouses joined hands against this king with the intent to slaughter.

Angered by their daring actions, the powerful being king unleashed a great power that even our ancestors didn't expect, having forgotten about the past war. In a desperate fight with the king, over two thirds of our myriad races ancestors were wiped out to extinction by this being. After a long hard, battle, the king was finally brought down by the remaining powerhouses, each of them sacrificing their lives to protect their race.

As a result of their battle, Our myriad races was nearly wiped out, leaving only a few of our races alive. Only over the next few eras was what was left of our myriad race able to recover and thrive once more, creating what is now the golden era.}

As Alex read the information in his mind, he was endlessly shocked at how cultivation came to be and the struggle our ancestors went through to get to here today.

"So cultivation was created from observing and researching the crazy powerful beings from the lost era?" Alex asked himself quietly.

"If so, then at the peak of these paths we should reach a level as powerful as these beings." Alex imagined himself sitting high above the stars, eternal and everlasting.

Alex caught himself dreaming and was glad there was no one around. Otherwise they'd think that he has gone silly.

Putting his hand on his chin, Alex thought, " This World is called the Gods and Devils world, the people mainly practice the god path or the devil path. There are no other paths available on this world, so I can only choose from these two to cultivate it seems."

Alex's eyes rolled around his head as he was deep in thought, "Alexander originally followed the god path and reach the eight rank of the Ascension Realm. With his memories and experience along with the system, I'm sure I can reach and even surpass him in the least amount of time, but to cultivate the Dao one has to follow their owns paths. Although I can rely on his experience, I can't follow in his footsteps or I'll never surpass him."

Alex nodded as he made up his mind. He then closed his eyes and begin to interact with the system once more.

"First, I'll check out the shop."

Alex went to the shop section to see if what it offered.

As Alex looked at the list on the first page, he nearly drooled, but when he saw the price next to them, Alex flinched slightly taking a deep breath to calm himself. 2 million GDP, 6.53 million GDP, 1.1 billion GDP, 4 million GDP, 4.9 million GDP. Alex nearly chocked on he his own tongue when he saw the outrageous prices next to these items. Millions, million, billion, finally Alex raised enough courage to look that the top of the list. Ten blurry lines appeared in front of his eyes and he struggled trying to see what they said.

"System, why can't I read those 10 items."

Alex was shaken, he didn't even have to qualifications to know about these itemsbeing the owner of the system. After some time, with difficulty Alex managed to tear his eyes away from those 10 and begin to select the thing he needed badly right now.

Alex felt that he had gathered everything he needed for the moment and left the shop.

"Time to use my tickets!" Alex was extremely excited as from here on his entire future would change. He would be become a cultivator, crushing all those who stood before him on his way to the top.

Alex went to the cultivation techniques and quickly flipped passes the god techniques before landing on the devil techniques. This was what he was looking for. Alex had made up his mind earlier and decided that to surpass Alexander, he had to start over from the beginning, creating a perfect foundation for his path and seeking the Dao later.Alex read scrolled through the techniques before he found something that caught his eyes.

Alex opened his and once again adjusted his posture. He sat straight with with back against the wall and crossed his legs as if he was about to meditate.

Removing the Rebirth Serum and the Super Soldier Serum, Alex prepared himself to take them. Thinking for a second, Alex tried to remember the books he read on earth. Not being able to remember much, he knew that he should probably take his close off. After a while Alex frowned, if it was like he thought and filth came out of his body he would need somewhere to wash off. Quickly entering, the system Alex bought two tubs of Spiritual Spring water to wash off In after for 1000GDP.

Feeling that he has made enough preparations, Alex took the vial of Rebirth off the ground. Looking closely you could only see a pure green liquid. Alex opened the vial and immediately the smell of nature wafted through his nose. Surprise shined through his eyes as he felt as if he was walking through a giant Forrest full of vitality. Birds singing In the background, mystical flowers blooming, ancient trees standing tall as if eternal, Water streaming through the earth, all types of creature playing, running, chasing, all majestic and beautiful.

For only a brief second, Alex was within this mystical forest, observing all the details before it all disappeared, leaving only the small circular room. Amazed, Alex looked at the green vial in his hand, just a whiff of it's scent had send him to a magical wonderland.

No longer hesitating, Alex swallowed the green liquid in the vial with one giant gulp. As he felt the liquid slide down his throat into his stomach, Alex sat straight as he waited for the liquid to come into effect.

Seconds later, a cool refreshing feeling passed though his body. Alex couldn't help but moan in pleasure as he closed his eyes, enjoying the experience. Time passed slowly as he fell deeper and deeper into the pleasurable feeling passing through his body. In Alex's mind, he was back in the mystical forest. He sat under a giant ancient redwood tree and enjoyed the scenery. He watched as the little animals played around and chased each other. He watched the ant and bugs hard at work carrying tinny objects twice their weight. He watched as the bird soared through the sky, freely, enjoying as the wind caressed they're feathers. As he watched all of this, Alex could feel himself Slowly changing.

Finally, Alex finally opened his eyes and let out a loose breath. He didn't know how long he had been in that forest, it could have been hours or minutes. Once he got lost in that magical feeling, he lost track of time and even himself.

Taking a deep breath in Alex's almost chocked as a strong stench entered his nose. Looking down he saw that his body was entirely covered in stinky, disgusting black filth. Immediately getting up, Alex ran to one of the tubs of Spiritual spring Water he had bought from from the shop and practically dove in. An immediate feeling of refreshing passed through him as he laid there. Enjoy his bath, Alex looked down at the water and smiled. He really had changed.

As he looked at the reflection, Alex thought back to when he had bought the tub. He had seen himself for the first time after taking over the body. A young man that look no older than fifteen looked back at him then. He had good looking features, not too well defined, his face was kind of round, which gave him a cute baby face. His had light blue eyes that twinkled when the light passed them and thick and full eyebrows that made his eyes stand out. His short hair and light bronze skin added to his look, drawing him attention even though he was not handsome.

Now looking at the his reflection again, Alex was completely satisfied with the changes that took place on his person. His skin seemed to be glistening under the light of the engravements on the wall. He hair grew long at the top almost like the top fade haircuts back on Earth. His face, although still round and babyish, had gotten a lot more defined creating a somewhat lazy look.

Alex soaked in the tub for a few more minutes before before exiting, feeling completely refreshed.

"System, check my body and see what changes has been made."

[According to new scan of Host body, Host has experienced a fundamental change throughout the body and soul. 90% of the impurities left behind by the body's old owner has been expelled. The marrow has been thoroughly cleansed and washed. All meridians, hidden and not, have been opened, cleansed, and widened to the limit. Alex was surprised after hearing the system's report. To think the rebirth Serum would work so well, not only did it remove 90% of the impurities in his body left from cultivation pills and resources, it purified his soul, washed his bone marrow,opened his meridians, and widened them, increasing his talent by over 70%. This excited Alex to no end as Alexander wasn't originally that talent, he had to rely on pills and cores to cultivate, leaving much impurity in them body and clogging a majority of the meridians. Not to mention that the rebirth also removed the traces of the dead Alexander's path from his body, getting rid of a future troubles.

Alex was giddy with happiness has he thought of all the benefits this vial had give him. Truly worth the 10,000GDP.

"Now, let's see how much benefits you'll bring." Alex said full of energy as he looked towards the Super Soldier Serum.
