Collin's Otherworld Adventure

Six days have passed and the only thing ive done since being stuck here is; walk around the cell, talk to Sid, and eat bread, after a while three people show up in front of the cell, one of them takes out lets opens up the cell and comes inside, while the other two block the cell door,

The person comes up to Sid and says.

"hold out your arm."

Sid complies, and the person takes out a needle filled with the green liquid and injects it into Sid, I think to myself.

"so this is how they keep people that are locked in this place from using their magic."

the person comes up and repeats.

"hold out you arm."

i clonch my fist and as swing my arm, i shout in defiance.

"no!"

my fist connects to his ribs, he lets out a painful yell, and falls to the ground, I quickly rush to the cell door, and one the guys blocking the cell door, holds out an open hand and chants.

"wind blast!"

I feel a high pressure of wind hit my gut, it felt as if someone punched me, and with that i fall to the ground, I curl up in the fetal and wrap my arms around my gut, and while I'm holding on to my gut, the other guy comes in and helps to pick up the guy i punched, and then the guy i punched shouts in anger.

"you little shit! your lucky we already have food prepared or i would take you out right now!"

he then takes out another needle and injects me on my arm, and before he walks out, he turns around and with malice in his voice he says.

"Ill make sure that we get you next."

he the takes a few stomps at me and then yells.

"restrain him and get the healer here!"

After i get healed up, Sid approaches me and then says.

"dont worry kid, as long as you stick by me, when everything goes down, nothing will happen to you."

I look at him puzzled and asked.

"what do you mean when things go down?"

he replies.

"I didnt trust you at first, but seeing you put a hurting to them without using magic, really showed me who you are and, i like it."

i then reply with confusion

"then what was all that stuff about? when i got here you said you like me? and what about that playful attitude?"

with seriousness in his voice replies.

"that was just me testing you, and the playful attitude was just an act to lower your gaurd, so dont take it personally kid."

i exhale and then ask.

"so what do you mean by when things go down?"

he then replies.

"I have comrades who will come and get me, and when they come get me you can come with us, ill even vouch for you and let you join our fold."

this is the best news i have gotten since being here, I then ask.

"why go out of your way for me?"

he chuckles and replies with a question.

"can you use magic?"

i reply.

"yeah but if i try to use any magic my mana depletes and that means if i use any basic minial type of magic, im left exhausted."

he smiles and replies.

"so when you took that the guy it was just your pure and raw physical strength?"

i nod and he then continues

"then that means you and me were once the same."

I look at him curiously and ask.

"what do you mean?"

he replies with a smirk.

"I used to have a limited mana pool, but some things happened and now i have a huge reserve of mana."

My eyes light up and joyfully ask.

"how did you do that? can you show me?"

Sid looks satisfied on how i answered and then says.

"yes eventually, and I'll tell you how but I cant tell you now, because if I do you wont like it."

i pout and then ask.

"how about a hint?

he shakes his head and says.

"when my comrades get here, you will understand and you will have to make a tough choice."

i think to myself.

"it doesnt matter what it is, this is exactly what I was looking for, when i left Arce."

I then tell Sid with condidence.

"Ive made alot of tough choices, and this one will be no different."

he laughs, puts his arm around my shoulders and the replies.

"I knew you'd say that, thats why i like you kid."

And with that the only thing me and Sid can do is wait around until his comrades arrive.
