#1196 - Creating Reality
Saros remained as eerily captivating as ever. Despite having half his body severed by Blood瞳, he showed no sign of pain. On the shocking cut surface, countless tiny strands of flesh surged out, linking to the severed half like numerous tentacles. In an instant, these fine threads intertwined, constantly multiplying and drawing closer.
Blood瞳 silently watched all this, blood gushing from the wound on his back like a spring. The bowl-sized wound even revealed fractured vertebrae and internal organs.
Strangely, however, Blood瞳's movements didn't seem affected.
“You are not Saros!”
Suddenly, Blood瞳 spoke.
In his eyes, the man who ambushed him had Saros's face, but the essence was completely different. It was an elusive feeling, as if Saros's body housed a completely different soul, incredibly strange and magical.
In fact, Blood瞳's intuition had never been wrong.
Sure enough, hearing his words, Saros showed obvious astonishment, his eyes widening slightly as he looked at him for a moment. Blood瞳 saw surprise and threat in his gaze. Immediately afterward, 'Saros' accelerated the healing process, piecing the two halves of his body together. Then, he stretched slightly.
“I… am… Saros…”
His throat produced a metallic scraping sound, extremely grating. But no matter how one listened, it was completely different from the original Saros. Before Blood瞳 could speak, he continued, “If… what you call Saros, is the existence represented by this body… and soul…”
“What do you mean?” Blood瞳's pupils constricted slightly, his body retreating a little. He faced Saros, and the wound on his back was also healing rapidly, recovering significantly in just a few breaths. Even the internal vertebrae were completely reconstructed.
The regenerative and proliferative abilities of enhanced cells were unmatched in the entire universe.
Saros fell silent, lowering his head. His handsome face was hidden in his long hair, and after a while, he raised it again, gradually turning his gaze to Blood瞳.
“Your question… is simple… but… I don't know how to answer it.”
“To explain this… first… you must understand… what is existence… and what you perceive… as reality.”
Saros slowly raised his hands, and with this movement, the world behind him suddenly changed. What was once the howling X35 planet instantly transformed into a vast starry sky, and then, in the next moment, into a new solid planet, above an endless ocean! The sea breeze howled. The waves of the ocean rose and fell, stirring up layers of whitecaps.
His hair danced in the sea breeze, and he spoke to Blood瞳 bit by bit. “You see… is this… reality?”
“How could…” Blood瞳 was somewhat astonished. These changes were happening before his eyes, or rather, he himself was within these changes. But both his mental senses and intuition told him that this was not an illusion, but a real world. The ocean, the starry sky, the new solid planet, all were truly real. As long as he wanted, he could touch, change, and destroy them.
But why…
Why was this happening…
“Reality… is a life form's perception of the environment,” Saros's voice slowly came, cold as a machine. “So… for lower life forms, as long as you can deceive their senses, you can give them any environment they want.”
“You deceived my senses?” Blood瞳 was incredulous. He knew that he had reached the peak of the Black Hole realm, coupled with the power of the Abyss, and there was nothing in the entire universe that could deceive him. Even enemies stronger than him could only defeat him, but it would be difficult to deceive him.
“Don't… be anxious…” Saros shook his head, continuing, “What I'm saying… is not this.”
“But… a higher level. Objective existence.”
“Just like you, reality also has existence… It is manifested in objective independence, and even if it leaves the perception of life forms, it will naturally exist and continue to operate…”
“When lower life forms become aware of their position in the universe… and begin to pursue the truth of existence… the reality of the universe… will open its doors to them. A world completely constructed by rules… So… what you understand as reality is a manifestation within a rule framework… A world that is completed and operated through rules.”
“Rules… I think this word is not unfamiliar to you… It is the foundation of everything in the universe. In other words, as long as you completely master the rules… then… reality… is also in your hands.”
Saying this, Saros raised a finger. “I say, it will rain.”
Raindrops began to fall from the sky.
“I say, it will freeze.”
The raindrops froze into ice pellets in mid-air.
“You see… it's that simple.” Saros shrugged. “So your question… is meaningless to me. What I want… is reality.”
Damn it…
No one could describe the shock Blood瞳 felt at this moment. Although he had seen too many powerful individuals in the universe, he had never seen such a terrifying existence. Indeed, changing a part of the environment was not a powerful ability. But the problem was the power to create planets out of thin air and control them at will. It had completely exceeded the common sense of universe warriors. No, it wasn't just planets. Seeing Saros's performance, Blood瞳 believed that even if the range were larger, a starfield, a world… the other party would do it with ease.
The most ⊥ new ⊥ small ⊥ say ⊥ in ⊥ six ⊥ 9 ⊥⊥ book ⊥⊥ bar ⊥⊥ premiere!
This was no longer the scope of a 'private world'; it was completely a creation, a control over the real universe!
In other words, this was God!!
God said, let there be light, and there was light.
God said, let there be sky, land, and sea, let there be sun and moon. And so the world gradually formed…
Wasn't all of this the supreme authority grasped by this Saros before him?
He wanted something, and that something was reality.
Blood瞳's heart sank little by little, his gaze becoming increasingly serious. Looking at Saros, who was still talking eloquently in front of him, he was silent for a while, then suddenly repeated again. “You are not Saros.”
“Saros is just an existence. An objective life unit that you perceive and recognize,” Saros replied, his gaze gradually becoming peaceful. He slowly said. “And any existence can find a place in the rules. So, why can't I be Saros?”
“Not just Saros, even others, I can present them to you. For example… Hanser, whom you have always wanted to see, or the Speaker?”
“Don't mention those names.” Blood瞳 suddenly interrupted 'Saros's' words, his eyes staring intently into the other's eyes.
“I think I know who you are… Maybe I should call you…”
“Alpha.” (To be continued ~^~)
