Colonial Suit
#259 - Encounter
On planet x35, a massive warship soared into the sky, stirring up a sandstorm-like dust cloud.
The dark clouds in the sky churned like a vortex, quickly revealing a huge hole, as if making way for the warship. The warship spewed out a long contrail, causing the entire planet to tremble slightly.
In the city hall of Carlster, several men with stern faces watched the thick contrail in the sky, their expressions grave.
"At this rate, won't it cause turbulence in the planet's gravitational field?"
"That's for sure. Such a massive warship will definitely affect x35, perhaps even causing it to deviate from its orbit."
"We can't afford any more troubles. Should we inform His Majesty and halt this expedition?"
"You go and tell him. We will never disobey His Majesty's will."
"Alright, pretend I didn't say anything."
The men exchanged glances, each seeing fear in the other's eyes. The atmosphere in the room froze. After a while, one of them sighed.
"His Majesty will eventually leave, but we will continue to stay here."
"Are His Majesty's instructions clear?"
"Clear."
"Then execute them. I don't want His Majesty to see this place still the same when she returns. Since she appointed me as the new Speaker, I must take responsibility."
"Understood, Speaker."
The men left the room, leaving only the man called Speaker still standing by the window, watching the massive warship rising into the sky.
"May everything go smoothly for you, my Lord."
He turned his head, revealing a glaring blue-purple brand on his face... he was also a mutant.
Meanwhile, in the sky, the warship was still battling the planet's gravitational field. The bridge was in chaos, with all the mutants frantically busy, operating unfamiliar equipment. Several wise-looking mutants were shouting behind them, preventing them from making mistakes.
Although they had rehearsed countless times underground, this warship was still too advanced for the mutants. It was understandable, as they had previously lived in a society similar to the primitive age, and suddenly entering such an advanced technological era was difficult for anyone to accept.
Fortunately, the Queen had awakened dozens of Sages, which barely managed to control the situation.
On the bridge, countless light screens flickered, rapidly scrolling through a waterfall of information. One of the Sages stood in front of these screens, his eyes flashing with computer-like light from time to time. After a while, he turned to face Lear.
"My Lord," the Sage respectfully said, placing a hand on his chest. "The calculations are complete."
"Then execute them," Lear said, sitting in the captain's chair, with Sarek and Murdoch behind her. "I didn't expect it to be so troublesome."
"This is normal, my Lord. After all, this is our first time using it. But I believe we will be able to use it freely after this," the Sage respectfully replied.
Lear waved her hand and said nothing more. The Sage also wisely stepped aside and began to give instructions...
Under his command, the warship began to adjust its posture little by little, eventually gaining a boost from the planet's rotation. Then, it leaped free from the shackles of gravity. As the thrusters at the rear fully deployed, x35 finally became smaller and smaller in the eyes of the people on the ground, eventually disappearing into the sky.
Ten minutes later, they entered the t6 universe.
"My Lord," Murdoch said, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he looked at the unprecedented scenery outside the porthole. "Where are we going next?"
"Leave the sphere of influence of the universe mercenaries," Lear said, leaning back in the captain's chair, her jade arm propping up her chin. "We need a space, a space without discrimination, for free development. And the universe mercenaries cannot provide that."
"Then you mean?"
"Space pirates," Lear raised her head, a flash of cold light in her eyes. "Only the absence of rules is the best rule for us. And in this regard, space pirates are obviously more suitable than universe mercenaries."
"Then we..."
"We need a starting point," Lear's gaze looked far away, through the porthole... "Now, it's time to find it."
As Lear's voice fell, the warship swiveled slightly in the starry sky and warped away in one direction...
At the same time, in another part of the starry sky, a fighter shuttle was flying at high speed. If anyone were here, they would discover that its flight coordinates were exactly the same as Lear's warship.
Inside the fighter shuttle, Robbie sat quietly in the captain's chair, carefully wiping his gun.
The Light-Dark Confession in front of him had been disassembled into small parts, each reflecting a faint blue light.
"Oh... when will we find Brother Bloodshot..." Beside Robbie, Little Bo Xi hugged Lie Ya and wailed loudly, her face full of sorrow. Lie Ya struggled in her arms.
"Don't move," Little Bo Xi scolded Lie Ya. "We agreed last night, I'll give you vanilla ice cream, and you'll let me hug you today. Are you going to go back on your word?"
"If you do, I'll complain when I find Brother Bloodshot..."
"Awoo," Lie Ya whimpered in pain and lowered its head. It really didn't dare to move.
Seeing Lie Ya's defeated appearance, the people on the bridge wanted to laugh, but when they thought of Bloodshot's whereabouts being unknown, none of them could laugh.
Robbie fiddled with his fingers a few times and assembled the Light-Dark Confession. Then he gently flicked the slide. "Any news from Lord Hank?"
"Not yet. But they're still looking, supposedly," Jules said, sitting on a railing with his legs crossed, looking bored. The small knife in his hand flipped back and forth, displaying knife flowers in the air. "A bunch of trash, including that Hank, are all trash..."
"Lord Hank will be unhappy if you say that."
"So what?" Jules raised his chin disdainfully. "It's already nice of me to call them trash. They haven't had any results for so long, how dare they call themselves universe mercenaries?"
"No matter what, he's still looking," Robbie said quietly, putting down the gun. "But we can't sit idle either."
"Has the target been determined?"
"It has been determined, they are on planet x72, preparing to leave," Pandora replied in a low voice, while fiddling with the intelligent brain without looking up.
With Bloodshot gone, Robbie was temporarily in command of the team, and no one objected.
Hearing Pandora's report, Robbie turned to look at Wright beside him. But he didn't say anything.
"My Lord's enemies must die," Wright said, his head lowered, his tone icy.
Robbie nodded. The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. "In that case, then they shouldn't leave. Otherwise, when Bloodshot comes back, he'll say we're lazy and not working..."
The speed of the fighter shuttle became faster and faster, finally turning into a stream of light.
This time, Robbie's target was an asteroid. To be precise, a space pirate outpost.
Originally, there was nothing here, but after the space pirates invaded t6, they established a simple base on this asteroid to obtain supplies and logistical support. But no one expected that the great changes in t6 would cause the good situation for the space pirates here to be completely overturned, immediately causing it to lose its original meaning.
Robbie's speed could not be said to be slow, but even if he was faster, when he arrived here, he still saw the space pirates had already begun to flee.
A floating asteroid was brightly lit, countless fighter shuttles were leaving the spaceport, like an exploding hornet's nest. Robbie's appearance obviously attracted their attention, and immediately a portion of the fighter shuttles flew towards Robbie and the others.
The space pirates were not easy to deal with either. Although they had already lost their advantage in t6, their ferocity was not reduced in the slightest. They actually had the intention of killing Robbie and the others.
But before they could get close, Robbie's fighter shuttle opened its hatch and released nearly a hundred armored warriors. All of these warriors' faces were covered by faceplates, and a metal rod was inserted diagonally behind their backs. They were silent like machines. As soon as they appeared, they held the metal rods in their hands and threw them at the approaching space pirate fighter shuttles without saying a word.
The metal rods rotated in the air, instantly turning into black javelins, and pierced into those fighter shuttles in an instant. Then, an astonishing scene appeared.
Those fighter shuttles actually had a large hole piercing through the front and back in silence, immediately turning into balls of fire in the universe.
"It's the Silent Jackals! The Silent Jackals are here!!" A cry of alarm suddenly sounded in the channel of the space pirates, filled with panic and fear.
Robbie smiled slightly. He stood up from the captain's chair.
The Silent Jackals were these retainers. During this period of time, they had been chasing and suppressing the space pirates, and these warriors had been in the limelight. Their aggression was like the wind, and their ferocity was like wolves. Each of them had even reached the strength of a trainee level. But the most terrifying thing was not these, but their discipline. They were like a pack of wolves hunting in the wilderness, attacking in groups as soon as they discovered the enemy. They only killed the space pirates miserably. Each time they pursued and suppressed, these warriors were like a storm passing through, leaving no survivors. In addition to never speaking, they also gained the title of Silent Jackals.
The indestructible anti-matter spear, coupled with the silent killing style. This was the symbol of the Silent Jackals. How could the remaining space pirates not know what this meant?
Immediately, the entire asteroid seemed to have exploded, and all the fighter shuttles began to flee in all directions.
Looking at the chaotic actions of the space pirates, Robbie shook his head and sighed.
"The Lord said, when the fierce lose their fierceness, and the humble discard their humility, my shepherd will not show mercy. Because the fierce are ultimately fierce, but the humble are not humble. Evil is hidden in hypocrisy, only for the next bloom."
"So verbose," Jules curled his lips disdainfully, then stood up. "Just kill them all. Do you still want to pray for them?"
Saying that, Jules walked out of the bridge. Soon appeared in the outer starry sky...
Looking at her murderous back, Robbie smiled dumbly. Just about to say something, his expression suddenly changed. Looking at the other side of the starry sky...
There, a giant warship had just left warp, like a beast leaping out of the starry sky...
